Day three of our trip south to the Mega and left Armidale bright and early. Parked closed and walked over to the fence. I could see the information board attached to the building but could not read it. Photo of YOF and the building and sign in the background. TFTC GOTG.

To prove we were here I have included a couple of photos in my log. Even with binoculars we couldn't read the information sign to get the answers to the set questions. We didn't want to trespass on obviously private land so I hope this will suffice. If not feel free to delete our find log.
Thanks, and this has got to be the cutest little pub I have ever seen. Wish it was on my land.

Okay, so I'm not sure if this can be logged... the sign has been moved to right in front of the Inn, but it is now private property so I couldn't get in to read it. Also, I can't seem to find your "email" others have sent the info to. Attached is a picture of how close the private house is to the Inn, hence not wanting to enter their land. Hope this suffices as a find, as I made the effort to stop and check it out.

Taverns were small those days. Maybe patrons drank outside with their horses, especially the ones that might be needing a fast getaway! Nice to see this little building has been renovated so well. Thanks GOTG.

This was a most interesting building with the cellar having the same floor area as the ground floor. The required information has been emailed to the cache owner and permission has been received to log the find. TFTC

An interesting spot but not much left now. Got the info and emailed owner. Thanks GOTG.
What an interesting stop The grass was sooooo high after all the rain that it was almost hard to see the building! Fascinating snippet of history and also an insight into the Aussie spirit

YAY, my eyes are fim i cannot see. Alomst fell over the fence trying to read the signs.
The tavern wasn't open but we didn't have enough time to stop anyway. Pesky and I struggled to read the sign in the faiding light but managed to get the required info eventually.
