Description
This is another locationless cache
Love them or hate them, chances are that when you go caching in a town or city you'll run into some muggles. So, I've come up with another cache in my Locationless Muggle cache series. This one should be easy to complete while caching somewhere where you'll find lots and lots of muggles.
To log this cache:
You must have a photo taken of you with at least one muggle standing next to you
You must be within 100 metres of a geocache that you are looking for when the photo is taken
Please mention what you asked the muggle, their response and what cache you were looking for.
Note: please ask permission of the muggle to post the photo of them on the internet.
Have fun!!!
Logs
This geocache listing no longer follows the guidelines required for a Locationless cache. https://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Locationless_cache As such we will archive it and encourage the CO to place a locationless cache that meets the new guidelines.
This muggle was very curious about what I was doing while locating this cache - GC3XCB2 The Old Mandorah one of corunnaroad's old Darwin pub series.... She had heard of 'caching' and knew a little bit about it but was keen to learn more and more that happy to pose for the photo... a whole new explanantion about locationless caching followed! She was a good sport and maybe a new recruit!

Today was the sixth day of our excursion out of Tasmania touring from Melbourne to Canberra and return via Gippsland. We visited a number of towns and areas today between Cooma and Queanbeyan in New South Wales and we were lucky enough to find some caches along the way. As happened yesterday, the day started very foggy but cleared quickly to a fine day with changing proportions of blue skies and broken cloud. Whilst in Cooma this morning we went to look for "GC10DW9 Nanny Goat Gruff" on Nanny Goat Hill. There were numerous muggles there but two in particular were very friendly and we started a conversation about the sculpture and the lookout. Some photos were taken of one of us with the mugglette whilst her muggle father looked on. The photo was taken just 39m from the cache. A photo has been added to The Gallery. TFTC
Hi Team Ninja
Anne and I were going to do GA3744 "Miles And Miles" (Tasmania) by CraigRat but when we arrived at GZ a camper van was sited nearly on top of the cache. Not to be daunted I continued on anyway and my log for that cache follows:
"Another great Craigrat Cache!
Arrived at ground zero only to find a camper van sitting on top of the cache enjoying the views
Started talking to its owner; fom Kingston; and found out he had a mate that cached on the mainland.
Extracted the cache and signed the log at 1553hrs.
Replaced as found as requested.
Said cherio and continued on to Deloraine.
TFTC and cheers;
OldSaint."
So without not having to do the cache, we made a friend,
Thanks for this locationless and cheers;
OldSaint.

In Melbourne for an extra long weekend and Mrs SdL and I were walking around Carlton Gardens and the Exhibition building and came across filming of Master Chef 2012 auditions. Spoke with the young guy operating the camera boom and mentioned geocaching and taking a photo as he worked. All was good and he was 'filmed' in action.
Thanks for the locationless and muggle meeting...

This photo was taken within ten metres of the '2000 Caches' geocache (by rogerw3) near Mt. Victoria, NSW -- in the Blue Mountains.
As the two muggles walked by me I paused in my searching said "Hello" and one asked, "Are you micro-caching?" I answered that I was indeed geocaching and it turned out that one of the rock-climbers (pictured) had once found a geocache together with his two children, or children of a friend. I suggested a photo to commemorate the event and am uploading it. His friend took the picture with my iPhone camera. The nice muggle gave me permission to upload the photo to this site.
(Afterwards I quickly found the cache!)

Had this photo sitting here for ages, it is of our daughter and one of her school friends. It is recommended not to go caching with kids after school in your local area, they know everyone!
The girl wanted to know what Sarah was doing so she explained that we were treasure hunting.....the girl did not believe us and Sarah invited her to look with us....she did but not with her heart in it, more just trying to prove we were up to something else.
Found and signed the log book, swore her to secrecy and the following week she asked to come out with us to find more. She is not a member yet as her parents think we are some kind of cult lol

Was just writing in log when Mrs Muggle came along. Explained what I was doing. There were at leas fur other people over on the other side of the park but no movement from them in my direction at this time. Cache GZ is within 3meters of where the phot was taken. Apparently I had not spied her but she was curious as to what I was doing so came over. Caught at GCPX22 Orb on Newell. I asked if she had herd of geocaching and her reply was Yes. I have permission to publish phot on log.

Looking for Out Of Breath GC1000R. Here is Anna who is part of my team with her muggle father, though hopefully we have converted him. Earlier in the trip to Victoria pulled up at a servo in Heathcote with the big geocaching logos on the side and the woman in ther servo asked me about it as she had recently been to a funeral for someone who as into it. Then this morning at Wagga got asked again as I was searching for one.
We were driving a friend home after being in town for the day, when we decided to stop at an isolated country church (just to have a look of course). This great occasion required a photo (of course), and the "discovery" of the cache nearby.
This led to explanations of caching and its benefits as well as the chance to log two caches at the same time.

We were visiting Lake Barrine to claim the Earthcache "Maar Volcano" (GC1KREV) which required a photo of the caching team so I asked a nearby muggle to take the photo then I told her I was a world famous Geocacher and offered her an autograph and photo with me with worldwide exposure for free which she readily accepted.Thanks for a fun cache Team_Ninja.
