Description
Maritime Safety Victoria has launched new web camera's across Victoria.
This is a nice clear pic down at the St Leonards Ramp.
You can check the conditions at any ramp from an app or even the comfort of your home!
The camera's feed refresh image every 5 minutes.
Even better it's a bonus for a geocacher to log another smiley!
To log simply take a shot of yourself, GPS or hand in the area so you stand out from the nearby boater's.
You can use the website link boating.vic.gov.au or click here for the app link and use it onsite.
Please take care and caution as car's are towing boats in the area, especially with geokids.

A bit of a challenge to find this pair of webcams. The website would initially not load, then when it did it decided to open the app vs. the website. A little annoying as I wanted the website to download the images, but I eventually coerced the device into doing what I wanted.
The chap in the light shirt is me and Mrs caughtatwork to my left in the attached picture.
Note that the camera or surround seems to have a major clarity issue and it took a long time to even confirm we were in the picture. But we can see ourselves, so I hope you can too
Given we have 3 DNF's at the GC caches around here today, we were very pleased to be able to finally get some ticks on the board.
Thanks for all of the webcams you have put up, they are fun to do and we always seem to find them when we're down and around the bay areas.

We were out having our daily walk all masked up and sanitized.
It was a delightful afternoon for walking and we paused here on the way back to our car.
