Description

This was going to be a Traditional Cache and maybe one day it will be. As we arrived at this point and getting ready to hide the cache, a worker from the nearby roadworks stopped as well to fix a flat tyre.

Within 2 minutes, another 10 cars arrived with more of his work mates to help and hinder his efforts to change the tyre (it must have been knock off time). There goes the chance of a traditional cache.

So to log a find, post a photo of yourself with your GPSr under the interesting landmark at this point. Enjoy.

Ho Ho Ho ...

Logs

Interesting that people are logging it as found when there's nothing here anymore. hahaha.

Oh Deere! Looks like Santa has gone missing. I guess he is pretty busy with Christmas in a week.

GrimRaider and I stopped off to grab this cache but found no Santa as shown.in the earlier logs. So we took a photo of the sign with farm in the background. Thanks anyway

GCA 2,619. Found this one during an epic meander west of Wagga during a three day weekend caching run.

A quick find while passing by ! I wish I'd seen the original attraction !

The structure and Santa are long gone. Maybe into the top northern hemispher. The landing strip is bare. Tnx firesafe.

Staying at Forbes for a couple of days gave us the opportunity to grab some caches and this was one of them. Quick snap and off to the next one. TFTC

Yep...Santa has left the building...or in this case, the plane.

Drove past with wing6rider on a run through the area...albeit about 6.30 at night and it dark....very dark.

Managed to grab a photo, so all was good.

Thanks for the fun....

It was getting dark and Santa had knocked off for the day (the cockpit was empty). I'll have to catch up with him later in the year form my Christmas list!

So long since I gathered the info for this trip that I couldn't really remember what this one was going to be. Mr Beetle was sure it was going to be a tractor but I had vague memories of it being a plane. The debate was solved as we pulled up and I guess in a way we were both right. Loved this cache but I guess it's the wrong time of the year for Santa. Thanks.

Day 8 on a trip to the Mornington Peninsular in Victoria for an Army Apprentice reunion, stopped here on the way home. Hard to get a good photo with a magnificent sunset taking place to the West.
Appears Santa must have bailed out and headed back to the workshop.

Out doing a trip around Forbes and Parkes with the geomum today and came across this great looking art. We nearly had a truck hit us crossing back over the highway after getting this photo. TFTC

Have seen this piece of farm art for quiet some time only just realised it was a virtual, great.

Just going through some photos, and realised that I missed logging this cache! A pleasant stop on our way north, but I think I confused the poor muggle who was already stopped and taking a photo... I thought he may have been another cacher Wink

Found the flying tractor (well sort of tractor - at least the John Deere we own IS a tractor!)
