Named after Exeter in the county of Devon, England. The Post Office was operating under the name of Tatana until 1968 when it was changed to Exeter.

Exmouth is an awesome place to holiday. I’ve got a few pics of the welcome sign since I’ve always stopped on the way in for a group photo. This is the only one I could find.

I live close to Eltham, VIC and have driven past this sign many times. This photo is thanks to the 'google maps guy' as I can't locate my photo of the sign at present.
