Water Feature
Many people have brought the calming sounds of water and beauty into thier homes and yards.
Take a picture of a water feature either your own, family or a friends along with your GPS to log.
All pictures have to be on private property and NOT a business.
NO Pictures from the internet!
Only ONE log per water feature but you can log as many water features as you and people you know have on display.
Enjoy!

This is our backyard water feature. Unlike most, it is bolted to the wall. We bought it about 17 years ago when we did an extension. It is outside our second bathroom where it 1) disguises noises, and 2) may encourage action!
Thanks Coruze

Sitting back after Covid restrictions lifted by doing Puzzles and locationless caches.
This is another nice one to log as well.
It is at a friends back yard, so the location is private.
Thanks for the cache,
Roostaman.

For over 25 years we have been catching up with ex- work friends of MrT. Today I took this photo of a Water Feature one of our friends have, off the side of their patio. It is lovely to have it nearby as we eat lunch and catch up. Very relaxing. TFTC

I was out and about in Nanango Qld and had to visit a friend to help them with some landscaping. Got there and got the surprise of the day. They wanted help to shift trailer loads of mulch but then I spied their new water feature. Looks good in their new courtyard. TFTC

This water feature is in the side yard of friend of the family. they spend a lot of time out in the yard and have constructed shade covers for the hot summer sun. At the moment it is turned off till they fix a leak in the concrete lined pond. They live on a corner and there is road works going on nearby at the moment and it is a real nuisance. trucks and other machinery parked on the side road creating dust. TFTC

This is our own waterfall and fishpond at the front door.
There is nothing more relaxing than sitting there under the veranda listening to the water trickling.
Mr Beetle built this feature himself at a fraction of the cost of the ones available for purchase.
Unfortunately our daughter acquired a Labrador which thought this was his private swimming pool so we have had to build a fence around it to protect the fish from getting squashed.
Co-ords are S41 15.875 E146 14.878.
Thanks.

We discovered this little water feature whilst getting some dinner this evening.
Came across this really pretty water feature siting astride a pump arrangements in the new residential area just out of the Brisbane CBD in Newstewad, while on a night time caching splurge in the area. There is a cleverly hidden GC (GC2XBJ7) here and another around the corner as well.
I was particularly taken by the use of coloured lights that frame and theme the area. It's a very "now" look.
Thanks for the opportunity to feature water features through this Locationless cache.
Cheers

I was not sure about this one. It is not located at a business and is on semi private property. I noticed that some previous claims are of water features on property that allows public access. This water feature is surrounded by security and is located in a fore court that adjoins the Library in Kingaroy. the area has just been re developed and at the moment is in pristine condition.

This one is in a small memorial garden in Richmond, Tas. The stone is local sandstone and the water goes under a small bridge into a pond lined with local limestone.
In school grounds in Darwin. This was built as part of a millenium garden area.

Looked at all the locationless caches in search for all the ones that me and farmer--brown could do in Cobar.
This is a water fountain/feature at the front doors of our school. Not accessable to the public as it is on the school grounds. It is constantly flowing, appart from the odd time when it is being maintained.

Took these pics of the water feature inside my friend's; Mike; house at White Beach, Tasmania. We were organising a golf comp coming up next Sunday; ie the teams, their teeing off times and the tees from which they would hit etc. A few beers and lots of port were consumed in the effort so lets hope the organistion was not hampered by intoxication. Hope you enjoy the pics. TFTC and cheers; OldSaint.
One my morning walk today and came across this one on a private propoerty along Victoria Avenue - hmmm, nice.
The water feature is located in Wagga’s Victory Memorial Gardens. The water feature has a gas burner incorporated in it that burns 24 hours a day. Victory Memorial Gardens are located on the banks of the Wollundry Lagoon in the central business district of Wagga Wagga New South Wales, Australia. The 2.02 hectares (5.0 acres) of land were formerly the site of the Old Police Barracks and Police Paddock, where all of the police horses were kept. It became land for public recreation in February 1931.[1] In 1925 the Wagga Wagga Municipality Council planned a tribute to those who fought and died in the First World War. The Council originally planned a museum but public preference was for gardens. There was a public competition for the design which was won by Thomas Kerr who was the chief landscape gardener of the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney. Work on the gardens started in 1928.
In the midst of the war, there had been a proposal for a Memorial Arch to honour volunteer soldiers from 1916. The proposal gained momentum when the servicemen returned after the War. A plan was finally planned to construct a monumental archway entrance to a memorial gardens in 1925. The Victory Memorial Gardens Arch was finally completed at a cost of £1700 and was officially unveiled amid great fanfare on Anzac Day 1927 by Major-General C. F. Cox. A cenotaph had been built earlier in 1922.
In 2006 the Chisholm Fountain, previously located in the Civic Centre precinct, was restored and installed in the gardens in time for Anzac Day commemorations.

Seen at the Christmas by the Lake event in Adelaide once 2 Lorikeets landed on it to take a sip!
This unusual and artistic fountain was designed by a close friend of mine in 1973. It's located on private property on Harris Road in Dural, NSW, but I can arrange a visit if anyone is interested. It's actually visible on Google Earth.
