*2D* Only Metal Structure
2D ONLY...
This is my second GCA locationless.
After having a great deal of fun trying to complete a few of the locationless caches on GCA, I decided to have a go at creating my own.
The goal of this cache is to log your 'find' with that being a picture of yourself/your GPSr
Each structure can be logged more than once as long as the picture includes the cacher/s and the GPSr, and one 'find' per cacher ID please.

Hello Whitepaws9 thanks for the cache.
I was out and about caching on the Tasman Peninsula and I spotted this 2D steel cut out of a horse behind it is an old plough added for looks. I don’t know what the business is but they obviously do a bit of steel cutting. If you look carefully you can see other cut outs attached to the shed. There is another one of a horse and one of a lady with its relief next to it as well there is a relief of one of a man at the other end of the shed.
I’m not sure if this part of the Taranna Cottages, the next time I’m going past I should call in and have a look as I do like a decent work shop and I believe there is a museum there as well.

JUNEE, NSW
Making my way to a caching event in Junee recently I came across this artwork of Ben Martin. Apparently, the park where this artwork is located is called Ben Martin Park and it was dedicated to him on 3 October 1999. Apparently, Ben was an employee of Illabo Shire and Junee Shire Council for 40 years with his dedication and commitment to his work recognised by his fellow workmates who volunteered their time to build and landscape this park.
What a lovely tribute.

I have a geocache near here, and noticed these new additions (to a house being built) while doing cache maintenance.
The silhouettes are made of metal and are attached to the wall that screens the magnificent new house from the footpath down to the lookout.

I discovered this very shallow fellow standing outside the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery in Hobart. I believe he is part of an "Artbikes" program where you can borrow bicycles for transport between art-related places in the Hobart area.
These lovely little fellows are in Apex park in Townsville. You can see the peaceful Ross River in the backgound, along which there is a power trail of caches. Apex Park has been recently redesigned and there are some interesting metal sculptures here.

WanderingAus wandered by on the way to Esperance via Wave Rock with the WanderingMrs and our three oldest grandchildren, accompanied by our son, his wife, and our two youngest grandchildren. After setting up in the caravan park the kids all went to play in the playground, so I took a walk over to the wave (for the fourth time in my life) to get the answers for the Earthcache GC2BGEE Wave rock By davonchi, then took a walk to the Hippo's Yawn to stretch my legs. On the way I noticed these two dimensional kangaroos on the outside of a toilet block that wasn't there last time I visited Wave Rock on 22 Feb 2009, when I found GCGZG8 Wave Rock 2 By wakiwi, which is situated only twenty or thirty metres from Hippo's Yawn.
I've seen quite a few two dimensional structures since this cache was published, including camels at Norseman WA, but Wave Rock is an iconic spot which gets fewer visitors, so I decided this would be my one claim.

Jack Badcock Memorial, Westbury, Tasmania
Jack Badcock is a local hero of Westbury, being born at the nearby area of Exton. An outstanding junior cricketer, he played his first game for Tasmania in 1929 at the age of 15. After nineteen games for Tasmania he transferred to South Australia, his highest Sheffield Shield score being 325 against Victoria in 1936. He was selected to play for Australia and became the first Tasmanian to score a test century, 118 against England at the MCG in 1937. He was selected for the Ashes Tour of England in 1938 with Don Bradman and had considerable success. The silhouette is of the punishing right-hand batsman launching into a trademark hook stroke.

These metal cutouts are located either side of the township of Corryong. Corryong is a lovely small country town in the foothills of the highest peaks of Australia, on the High Country of Victoria. Corryong is close to the NSW border and the head waters of the mighty Murray River.
Corryong is the gateway to the NSW snowfields and the resort towns of Thredbo, Jindabyne and Perisher Valley, via the stunning scenic drive along the Alpine Way.
The area surrounding Corryong area is timber forestry and dairy farming country. Corryong acts as a service centre for these farms.

With its 20 hectares of rolling landscaped hills and remnant Blue Gum forest, Heritage Park is a great location for family picnicking, walking and learning about nature. It is the birthplace of Castle Hill.
The main walking track has educational signs that follow a timeline history of the land from the use by the Dharug people, through establishment of the convict farm, church glebe, lunatic asylum, orchards and small farm holdings.
Home to the critically endangered ecological community Blue Gum High Forest, Castle Hill Heritage Park is one of the largest remaining stands of Blue Gum High Forest reserved in the world. The threatened species Powerful Owl is known to use Castle Hill Heritage Park for hunting.
