Description
A lovely little lookout area beside the old Bass Highway between Penguin and Ulverstone, the views from here are lovely. There's a seat that you can use as you soak up the atmosphere or a fence to lean on as you watch the waves roll in. Also provided is an information board that tells the story of the geology of the area. Keep an eye on any children with you as there's the road on one side of you and a steep drop off down to the railway line on the other side of the fence.
Please don't try this one from the road, park at the suggested waypoint for safety as a lot of traffic uses this road. Parking waypoint: S41 07.452 E146 07.355
The cache you are looking for is a micro, no room for a pen or swaps, so please bring your own pen.

A nice winter's day to be out geocaching. The tide was wrong for the nearby multi but we did grab this one while in the area.
A quick find thanks to accurate coordinates.
The spiders have moved in on this one's hiding place and a stick was needed to remove the webs so that the cache container could be returned.
Thanks Sharnie's Tribe.

Thanks Sharnie's Tribe.
Heading home after a day of caching down the coast, this cache fitted our next quest on the Cacheopoly board.
The GPS led us to nicely hidden cache.
Many thanks Sharnie's Tribe for another great hide and cache.

On our way to the west coast we noticed that there were 2 new GCA publications in our area of the NW todat. After checking them out we decided to look for them on our way home. This was the first one we looked for. It had been a beautiful, overcast and a little humid day. When we reached the parking spot the sky had cleared and the view across the water to the sisters was stunning. Spot on coordinates took us to a very well hidden cache container. Signed the log in silver position then sat on the seat to enjoy the serenity that resulted from a longish break in the passing traffic. Then it was time to continue homewards.
Thanks for this cache Sharnie's Tribe. It is always a pleasure to visit this little reserve.

This sneaky hide had me going in circles for awhile.
Looked in the wrong spot at the start even though that would've made the coords out by 8m or so.
Gathering my senses and knowing the CO coords are normally spot on,started searching high and low...no cache.
OK....look harder....yes...there it is....a top hide with spot on coords as usual...big sigh of relief.
No other log entries for a bonus ftf.
Many thanks sharnie's tribe for a top hide in a great location...thoroughly enjoyed...cheers ST.
