A good attendance of cachers had already staked a claim at the shelter by the time we arrived. A great opportunity to talk GCA, discover some moveables and find some close caches to the event. A most enjoyable catch up before heading back to the wedding TFTE WotheNeeds2.

#GA5769 - 1:00:00 PM; Arrived to find 2Wagtails and Gullivers Travels54 already at the table. Our dedicated group grew over the course of the event, before heading off around the venue to log some of the caches available in the area. It was then time to head off for a bit of wedding cache at Geobash Central. Nice to grab some moveables too to continue their journeys. TFTE WotheNeeds2

Yep, I was right. Once I got there about 2:35pm, I was by myself. There weren't even muggles in the park. I went and found some caches around the park then headed back to GZ and waited until 3pm clocked over and headed off. I must of just missed James0116. A big thanks for your wonderful attendance logs and for next time, I hope to actually get there when you are still there.

Geobash Easter Mega - Day #3 (Easter Saturday 30/3)

Day three saw me head up the Federal Hwy towards Goulburn for a family reunion. I was asked to be there for at least a little while. So I left early and soon enough I found myself finding some solved WIG’s and Letterbox’s as well as others to and from Canberra. It was a great trip. Though I was pushing it time wise to get back in time for the big event [GCAKTHC]. I ended up getting back around 2:15pm-ish and that means I was just in time for the big event. That was certainly my first ever Geocaching Wedding attended. Congratulations Fitzy & Minniek. Afterwards A group of us went and found some nearby caches. Most of them were DSD multi-caches. Then it was time to head off and get some dinner and then back to the motel for some sleep. TB visit. If the cache wasn’t signed as JohnoMawbs, it was signed as JM or as the tour group name. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTE’s & TFTC’s

Given there was a GCA event today, I decided that I should find some GCA caches along the way to/from Goulburn. This was one of those finds. Always nice to attend a GCA event. I arrived late but I still wasn't the latest arrivee. It was great to see everyone again. Thanks for hosting. Now off to the other two GCA caches in the park.

Announcement (16/3/24): For those complaining about the time of event, please note it was originally set for 2pm-3pm, due to myself only being able to get there around 2:20pm-ish. However, because of the wedding starting at 2:30pm, I changed the time for you. I understand that most will be leaving about 2:15pm-ish but I am still wanting to keep it a 3pm finish. I am not planning on attending the wedding due to not knowing them. However, I will be here at this one until 3pm which is the end of this event, even if I am alone. I look forward to reading your attended logs.
