Description
Wilbur wants to travel from Scout Hall to Scout Hall.
WILBUR WANTS TO GO TO TASMANIA - PLEASE HELP HIM!
He is decked out in his full Scout Uniform, and somehow seems to have lost his way. His home Scout Hall is 20 Jackson St, Parafield Gardens, SA. Somehow he has started his travels in Victoria. He really doesn't mind where he goes, and would love pics with Scouts, Scout Scarves and Scout Halls.
Please place him inconspicuously at these establishments - we don't want him disappearing!
PLEASE MOVE ON AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE! IT'S A RACE!

This geocache appears to be MIA so to stop it clogging the search lists we'll archive it. If the owner, or a previous finder, can confirm it is in place the listing can be resurrected by placing an "unarchived" log against it.
I know that we sometimes keep moveables for a long time but not this long.
This moveable is not with the family. I assume that it was dropped with another moveable but not logged.

this cache is not missing as it is still with gwar, gwiber, tbh and chwiliwr since april 2017
Took my scarf with me to visit this one, but couldn't find it. A large part of the tree has been cut/knocked down and crimpled around the base though, so maybe check that it's still there and not buried?
Found the cache while out with Lazarus this afternoon, Its been a few years between finds. I last discovered Wilbur in 2011, good to see him still going around.

A bit closer to civilisation. sitting with another GA moveable
We have the Gnome, must say sorry Shaydex the coordinates were a bit out.

Stayed here for ages trying to find him. I must be blind, was standing right on the coords, did a rotational search from that at every grass tree. No luck. Either very well hidden or not there anymore.
Standing under grass tree in the cool.
Last time we met was way back in June 2011 and you haven't aged a day, I wish I could say the same for myself

My goodness this cache has been around for a long time, very pleased to be able to find it and move it along.
Found this cache after the change came through. Come Zulu *some generic quote*. Will move along shortly.
Apparently the original move by Chwiliwr didn't work so now doing it again. Was probably the same time as all the other moveable caches that got lost when Chwiliwr's GPS failed.
Found with Chwiliwr before he move it next to a GCA traditional cache.

I was about to give up for the second time here when I spotted something not quite right in the bush and pulled out a rather dirty gnome.
I know at least two other cachers who tried for this since it was placed here.

Dropped him off in Freo. No scout hall here, but Wilbur will help with the Dragonzone game.
Found Wilbur and picked him up ... time for a change of scenery for him. I've taken him home and given him a bit of wash, so he's ready to travel again. I'll find a scout hall to drop him at sometime soon.
Thanks for the cache Cached.

Wilbur pleased to be on the move. Stretched his legs along the Rocky Pool Trail, took in some Kalamunda scenery with his new Scouting friends and then headed off for his next adventure.
Placed Wilbur behind the local scout hall. hope some one finds him soon.
Couldn't make the event so we decided to end Wilbur's long holiday in Marangaroo. Will move shortly.

Have place the scout back out in the wild.
My first CGA cache, or gnome. Was fun 'smuggling' him from the hide back to my geomobile. Will deposit him back out in the wild shortly.

Keep company with another container - Campbell's Cache Koondoola (2) - GC31FDQ. Hope someone will pick it up. Thanks.
Pick Wilbur with me and keep warm in my home due to awful weather so will drop Wilbur next week when the warm weather come. Thanks.

We were very please to meet Wilbur at the Northern Burbs Brunch today, hope to catch up with a few of his friends in the near future.

With Wileyclan, headed north today to attend the event and grab some caches in an area that we do not often visit. Rain and storms today did not dampen our enthusiasm, but lack of local knowledge did mean that some of the navigating left a little to be desired
Met Wilbur at the event, he was proving to be very popular. Nice Gnome

I found this guy just lounging around trying to get a sausage at the Northern burbs Brunch. I was going to take him along with me but there were other caachers interested in logging him as a find so I have left it to their cacpable hands.
Nice gnome though

Dropping off at a local event , meeting up with many cachers
Went to grab this little guy from the primordial ooze but it seems he had already had enough of the location and had moved on.
There I was out searching for the 'Out of the promordial ooze too' cache when I came across Wilbur by total supprise , after a little chat he asked for a lift to a new location apparently he cant sleep at night because of all the noise, frogs and mozzies mostly. Thankfully he dosn't seem to be bothered by mozzie bites for some reason not like myself. I will drop off soon in another location on the river.

It's Capel Fest this weekend so perhaps Wilbur will be able to hitch a ride with a new visitor to town. He's huddled under a bush with Blackboy Stump. This is private property but don't worry that will keep him safe until a geocacher picks him up.
Late and dark. Found Wilbur after digging around for another cache for too long. Then I felt something under the leaves and started tugging. Took awhile but these little feet began to come out followed by a tummy, chest and head with hat. I had delivered a Zulu gnome by caesarian it seemed. Big baby!! Born 10.49pm. Will try to hide him just as well as soon as we can.

While searching for Someone to drive you home, dropped this guy off too.
Saw that this was placed near a geocaching.com cache I hadn't yet logged so went off to get both. Wilbur was an easy find, but has his head in a crocodile's mouth at the moment... Will save him soon. TFTC.

WanderingAus wandered by, and dropped the little fellow in Robinson Park. Gosnells Scout Hall was at one end of Robinson Park when I moved near here in the mid-1980s. The hall is still there, but now it seems to be unused, and the Scout Group has either moved away or disbanded.

WanderingAus wandered by, enjoying GC2KA92 WA Caching 10th Birthday Bash - Albany 2011 by tangowithcupcake, and picked this little fellow up to take him for a bit of a ride.
Found as part of GA2512 A Busy Day (Eight For One) by Zalgariath. I claimed the Eight For One in preference to GA1578 Five For One by Dazzatron and GA2054 Six For One by Dazzatron, which will be much easier to claim at some future time.

Wilbur has been on a trip to Albany. He visited the cache GC1W072 - BE PREPARED" by ~ALBANY SCOUTS~ but was keen to attend the Geocaching 10th Birthday Bash so we didn't leave him there at the Scout Hall. Instead we left him just down the road at afternoon tea where he was snapped up by another cacher to start another adventure. Happy travels.
Found this big scouty fellow near The Waters Edge and brought him home for a little R & R. Will send him on his next mission shortly.
Not near a Scout hall unfortunately, as I couldn't find one around here, but there definitely should be one in these new developing suburbs! Left Wilbur with a nice view of the lake instead.
Grabbed Wilbur tonight, he is quite a big fellow. I was a bit worried about losing his innards as there is no stopper, but I think I managed to hold them all in
I must have been quite a sight walking back to the car holding Wilbur, there was a lot of people out walking their dogs along this popular stretch of the river this afternoon.
Will drop Wilbur in a new location soon.

Wilbur has moved to his new tempory home outside the Bayswater sea scouts He has a lovely corner block with views of the river and the park and is in walking distance of the scout hall so he can go say hi.
Have fun on your next adventure

Dingo & Kookaburra(aka tony and samantha) leaders from 1st Mindarie Scouts found Wilbur protected from the cyclone Bianca in a tree stump. He is now relaxing in the spa with his new gal pal Trixie the Venturer Gnomette before he sets out tomorrow for a new adventure.
Where will he go??? Will Cyclone Bianca claim him on his perilous journey? Who knows... Stay tuned for the next thrilling adventure of Wilbur the Zulu Scout - The last Gnome Scout xx

Wilbur is now hiding in bushland near the clubrooms that 1st Mindarie Scout group use for their meetings. He is a fairly large fellow vising a GC cache and would be best if he was moved on so as not to be muggled.
Found this guy having a sleep out of the sun on this very hot 38degree day.

Happy Australia day everyone! I held on to Wilbur with the consent of his owner as our own Scouts (Bull Creek Leeming) take part every year in a Australia day breakfast and swearing in ceremony at Len Shearer Reserve.
Wilbur was sure excited to get out there and lend a hand to the cause. He started with a hearty breakfast, helped raise the flag and then had fun navigating our ropes course. By the time 11am rolled around he had already had a big day. I tucked him into his hidey spot near Bull Creek Leeming Scout Hall.

I've had my eye on this guy for a while so when I saw that hhheddy had dropped it at Como Scouts I was out bright and early, but obviously not bright and early enough! He had been nabbed already. Luckily, after some shopping, etc. in the area I checked his location again and saw that he had a fast trip with the dynamic duo!
Thanks for the quick turnaround xinders and Kat!
I sure wish I could hold onto him for Australia day as our Scouts group organizes a great fun morning near our hall. There is a citizenship ceremony, breakfast and rope bridge. The location of this event is near a gc.com cache and close to Bull Creek Leeming Scout hall.

Wilbur left his river retreat ... stepping over the pedestrian overpass to the other side..... "Eeek! Too high up! ... Quick cover his eyes!!" (Poor Xinders is afraid of heights ... but Wilbur wanted to have a good look down below.) We spent a little time together and decided that the best place for him to visit was the Scout group in Brentwood, close by. Bye Wilbur! Happy travelling! Maybe we might see you again, sometime soon.
Great hiding spot! Came here today with the Kat who was actually the one who found him. We spotted some pelicans in the river and a magpie eyed us suspiciously as we emerged from the hiding spot and then took some pictures of Wilbur. We had tried searching for him earlier on ... when we were passing through the Bicton Scouts hiding spot (well hidden by Briggbottoms!).... but we were only given 10 mins (had brought along two cars of impatient muggles on the way to dinner at Freo and could not search properly that evening...as we left them in the cars and had to get back quickly).... Lovely to finally meet him!! TFTC
Found in a beautiful spot this morning. So glad to find him as we have been following him for a while. This is the biggest gnome we've come across so far .... (but thankfully not the heaviest!) TFTC
Picked up Wilbur on the way home, I managed to retrieve him without rousing suspicion from the nearby tennis players. Will drop the big fellow off soon.

Wilbur has gone to visit the North Dianelle Scouts and Guides
Wilbur is visiting nearby to 1st Hamersley Scouts. They seem closed for the holidays so he is as close as he could get!
Oh my Goodness how well hidden was he. We left home straight away when briggbottoms logged that he was still there. Yes we had already looked in this palm twice before. Never say die! This time we went with a big stick to poke in looking. Thank goodness it didn't connect with him or he probably would have broken. Some very amused muggles sitting a bit away watching us but we werent leaving without him this time. 2 hour round trip saw us collect PFC Gnorman and move Wilbur. It was too dark when we placed him to take any photo's of his new Scout Hall. Great hide briggbottoms, but hope you never put a cache there!

Checked this afternoon - too hot for anybody to be swimming but Wilbur is happily sheltering from the sun still. About a metre above ground level.
Well I don't know if Wilbur doesn't want to see us again but we looked for him twice in the last 3 days and we cannot find him. Lot's of Muggles around swimming today in the heat, but we searched like demons and still had no luck! Has he run away from home?

Wilbur found an interesting bus shelter yesterday whilst travelling with us on an errand sort of day. He then heard mention of a nearby sea scout group and jumped up and down in that manner familiar to those familiar with gnomes, "Oh yes please!".
Had a good look at the jetty and dinghies then found a safe place to shelter from the sun over the next few days.
Had a good look at the jetty and dinghies then found a safe place to shelter from the sun over the next few days.
Found around sunset - nice ride around the lake, quite glad we could find Wilbur.
We used the hint as the trees moved our GZ around a fair bit tonight. Brought search area down to half a dozen locations - pretty reasonable. It was still quite hot here tonight, at least 30°C at 8 o'clock but riding helps cool down after a cache hunt like this.
We saw *lots* of spiders sitting in their freshly spun webs but managed to avoid them all while we were weaving between the shrubs. Wilbur made a quick call past the 1st Bibra Lake Scout Group to thank them for their hospitality then headed off for a ride around the lake. He plans to make a photo stop or two tomorrow before finding a new location closer to the coast.
Signed log, thanks for the cache Cached.

Wilbur is now visiting 1st Bibra Lake Scout Group.
Wow! What an awesome few days I've had, I've been to a Hall, hooked up with some new Scouting friends and been to the Scout Mecca of W.A - Manjedal. Thanks to my driver and camp management I was able to try out some of the activities - even when it was closed.
Lots of photos will be posted later, so you can all see what I have been up to!
I'm now located at the turn off.

Dropped off near the Lake Gwelup Scout Hall NE corner of vegetation
He Was a bit gnome sick. To make him feel better we dropped in at Mawson Park & Lake today (He comes from Mawson Lakes SA). Much happier. Was even more delighted to catch up with some Venturer's. He stayed behind with them... Happy scouting Wilbur..
Found Wilbur having a sleep in the bush about 2.45pm. He looks a bit thirsty, Will take him out to a Xmas party tonight and drop him off tomorrow at new Scout Troop TFTC SL. Finally found a gnome before Chwiliwr could get to him!
