This geocache appears to be MIA so stop it clogging of the search lists we'll archive this one. If the owner can confirm it is in place the listing can be resurrected by placing an "unarchived" log against it.
In the hands of a local cacher now for 3.5 years.....probalby long enough to wait for it be to be relocated.
With the current May-tenance month underway to clean up our database, this one should probably be archived

NO LONGER AT THESE CO ORDINATES BUT IN THE HAND OF A LOCAL CACHER.
This one and his friends have been handed over to a local cacher as some of them are unique and can not be just left in the bush. About time I found a spot to hide this one and I decided that I had better get a move on and as I had three to hide closer to civilisation for the 2013/2014 moveable Cache race today was the day.

Found very close to home with the assistance of some very friendly ACT cachers. Do not get to find too many of this type of cache as not that many are hidden or come to my part of Queensland. Thanks for the novel cache (moveable. ) Signed log YOF as this is what I use on small logs instead of youngoldfella. Will Move this one on soon.

Anyway, I've finally moved it on.
Terribly sorry about the delay.

Do not attempt this from the highway....you need to find a way onto Majura Lane, safely please!
Candy Cane 101 and I went for a walk this afternoon, placing gnomes in this area, according to some very specific instructions by Black Bunny. We haven't been told why, but we suspect a pattern is emerging. We also suspect that we were told to do it in a certain way, just to make us cross the creek the maximum number of times en route. We had fun anyway, and saw a lot of kangaroos and a few brown bunnies.
Went for a drive with black bunny and Just a cacher to a event., when the event was over, there were 50 gnomes and pathtag swapping
Thanks for the gnome

Grabbed this fellow to bring back to Canberra after the GLF & GFF event at Mt Victoria. One of 50 gnomes at the GLF & GFF event.
A chance to catch up with some Sydney cachers that we have only parried with on the forums, enjoy some good company and swap some tags.

It was a great day! The gnomes enjoyed it, and so did the non-gnomes.
Good food, good company, good pathtags, and magnificent weather and views!

Went for a drive today to catch up with a few gnomes that I heard were gathering at an event in the Blue Mt's. Something about the GLF and GFF calling a truce.
Meet a few gnoming aficiandos and even eat my way through a couple of gnome cup cakes (Thanks to Just a Cacher for those) while signing (almost) all the logs.
A great way, and a great spot, to spend an hour or 2.
Thanks to all who attended, great to meet you, along with the gnomes.

'Gnome and Away' is ready to party with his mates, some new and some he has already met in his travels. With the GLF and the GFF comparing notes let's hope for a lasting peace.
Don't go looking for him before Saturday the 2nd of July, he won't come out and play until then!

G & A is well on his way. Mt. Victoria Station was an important transit point. But he can't stay there long.
G & A is on his way to take part in a unique GFF exercise. All will be revealed on Saturday!
'Gnome and Away' is now safely in his new accommodation at the Gnome Holiday Resort and has gone to bed for an early night after a lot of traveling. He will take some well deserved R&R before going away on some new mission.
This is top secret location so don't go looking for him there, you won't find him.

Lol - I wondered what had happened to him and whether the "Away" aspect of his name was well and truly happening. Cheers!
Approached G&A carefully and gave him the GFF password.
Well trained, he responded immediately and accepted his orders for a transfer.
He's spent more than 11 weeks, serving faithfully in his strategic spot, and it's time for a new assignment.

Gnome and Away was also assigned a Night Exercise. With a good map and compass, his trust headlamp and a heavy pack of food and gear, he started out from the first WP of Walk-a-While Night Cache. This turned out to be most convenient as there were fire tacks at the start of trail he needed to guide him and he didn't even need his map.
The rest of the exercise must remain secret or anyone who read this log would need to be eliminated Shocked
However, Gnome and Away has set up camp against a large rock at the listed co-ordinates and if you go and talk to him in person, he will be able to give you any necessary details while swearing you to an oath of alliegance. Once that's done, he won't need to kill you Mr. Green

The third Gnome Team (The C Team) has reached its dispersal point. All members have their new duties assigned and will rely on help from local human at Dispersal Point Gamma to reach satisfactory destinations.
Of course all Gnomes will report back to Clwydd Headquarters from time to time to advise of their findings.

It was great to meet my old friend G&A again -- still free from the clutches of the ACT and its roundabouts -- and well-trained now in the ways of the clean-living GFF.
'Gnome and Away A.C.T.' has moved to a new location, the GGG convinced him that he would be better off following instructions than chance further injuries. This Gnome has suffered enough already, so he wisely decided that he would go but only if he could be near trains.
This was quickly acted upon and he is now near the Zig Zag Railway where he can see the trains!
Start from the car park at S33° 28.268' E150° 12.100' along the nice little track for a couple minutes walk.

Off he went, towards the turnstile . . . G&A will no doubt have many western adventures . . .
G&A was one of the 'gnome pack' that arrived by train! I was glad to see the nuisances once again . . . but had to move them quickly on their way westwards . . .
My little friend 'Gnome and Away A.C.T.' has now been dropped at Wentworth Falls where I am sure a keen local Gnome gnapper will take charge of him without delay. These Gnomes have such a hard life, being stuck in shopping bag for long train trips and then passed on to someone else without a by your leave.
I have had my eye on this Gnome and another 2 for some time now, but "The best laid plans of Gnomes and Men...' It was not until today that I was able to make the long trip to Watson's Bay and retrieve the 3 Gnomes there that were enjoying life a bit too much, high time they started earning their keep and got on the move.
This one did not want to be found, I had to scratch around the base of no fewer than 14 trees and large shrubs all around GZ before he was found a fair distance from where I expected him to be, but then again perhaps the GPS Gods were against me!
All 3 of them will be moved very, very soon.

After taking a well earned rest for a week post race it was time to get these guys back on the road again. A nice trip to Watsons Bay was in order where he got out at a nice spot overlooking the coastline near the signal station. He scuttled behind a tree and covered himself in pine needles to keep the rain at bay.
Another great event today. On a stinking hot day in homebush oveer 40 gnomes showed up and looked to be having a great time especially this little guy. Oh yeah there where some fun people there aswell.
Looks like a couple of gnomes may have followed us home and there locations will be updated soon.
Thankyou to the organisers and who ever gave this little guy a lift. Looking forward to the next event.

Attending the post race gnome party at Homebush this was one of MANY new to us gnomes we found on the table. tftg
I found G&A once again at the The Gegnome Project-Post Gnome Get Together at Homebush Bay! He's an old friend now . . .
And today he was one of an amazing variety of 42 gnomes in attendance at Wentworth Commons in Sydney's Olympic Park -- and a few gnome-mad geocachers attended as well . . . The scorching 41 degree temperatures didn't dent our enthusiasm.
Congratulations to all those battle-hardened gnomes who survived the rigours of the recent competition and our condolences to the owners of those who suffered injuries and/damage or who were finally declared 'missing in action' . . .
This gnome can now take a very well-deserved break, doing whatever it is that gnomes do when they take well-deserved break . .

Found among the 41 other Gnomes at 'The GeGnome Project - Post Gnome Get Together!' A great time was had by all, even the Gnomes and they spent their time having logs and other things pushed up their nether regions at least for most of them. A great way to see Gnomes that I would not have been able to get to otherwise.

Gnome and Away decided the event was a bit hot for a poor little ACT gnome, so he came back to the comfort of the air conditioned house. I don't think he is going to be easy to persuade to move back outdoors until things cool down a bit though.
Well what a party that was! There were way more gnomes (42!!!) than cachers (maybe 10 teams, about 20 people) and things almost got out of hand Luckily some of the gnomes who attended were able to keep a bit of control - Bruce the Gninja, GeoPirate, Gno-mad, Gnome-Mare and Geolady were big enough and tough enough to exert some authority.
We held a ballot to see who would go home in which car and Gnome and Away agreed to take richary and Anna as their house wasn't too far away.

Gnome and Away will be at the event on Saturday. Don't look for him until then.
Well there I was on the front verandah with my broom about to sweep and I look up and see a happy smiley face staring at me from behind the letterbox. OMG it's a gnome, and not just any gnome ,it's Gnome and Away. You came back to me.
Poor old gnome has had a hard trip, his weary broken feet were really bothering him and his grime streaked face looked at me and begged me to take him in once more. It appears his nose has healed cause the bandaid has been removed.
Gnomey is now resting his weary and broken body in the coolness of the kitchen. I told him to recuperate cause we were going to gnome party.
He smiled and went to sleep.

Gnome and Away begged me to take him back to this wonderful place, he stayed there once before and only wished to return and rest his weary (and broken) feet. He should celebrate the end of his travels, now he can take his time and move when he wishes.
Gnome and Away did not stay long in his new spot, the drunken teenagers in the park were not to his liking, and who could blame him. I grabbed him and he will spend the night under cover for a change. Who knows what tomorrow will bring!

This evening I had to check up on a couple of gnomes who had recently turned up in nearby Katoomba, and decided to bring Gnome and Away along with me, just in case.
It happened that this was a good idea. One of the vacated hiding places in Kingsford Smith Park was just the right spot for G&A.
Now he has 48 hours to travel as far as he possibly can before the gnome comp ends. Perhaps after that we'll have to remove the 'away' from his name.
Good luck, G&A! Hope you eventually make it back home to the ACT.

The end of the great gnome comp is looming near, and G&A had been languishing in the bush, so I thought I'd gnab him and more him along for another few extra kilometres.
He's an old friend and was no trouble at all.
He asked me what was going to happen to him after January 31st.
I couldn't give him an answer. I wonder the same thing myself!
Anyhow, will transport G&A a little ways today and we'll all see what happens next!

Gnome and away headed off when the wife and I were at a familys BBQ. Headed towards the bush tracks at the end of White Cross Road, Winmalee but didn't go very far at all. Happy hunting.
Annual Gnome convention at Glenbrook today, but this was the only gnome I had eyes for today!! TFTG!!
Moved to outside the lovely Glenbrook Swimming Pool.
After re-checking this gnome's credentials, I decided that it was safe to turn him loose on the Upper Mountains -- even my adopted home town of Leura!
The Romeo Gnome found a nice spot the other day, so I decided to utilise it for this ACT fellow.
I tried to cover G & A with a bit with natural camo, but a sharp-eyed geognomer will spot him easily alongside Railway Parade.
If you're lucky, you might see a train go by while you're picking him up.

I made another late night drive eastwards down the Great Western Highway -- this time pre-midnight -- to intercept this familiar gnome at the beginning of my home territory.
It might have been wiser to wait for daylight, though. I stumbled around the roadside and down an embankment into what seemed to be a powerful brew of old engine oil and mud. Whatever, it was, it was black and wet. Oh well. I have more than one pair of pants and the bruises will heal!
Ultimately I found Gnome & Away next to the Bullaburra Railway Station car park, safe and well in the sharp NZ grasses, and with a smile on his face.
I confess that I didn't think it was very funny at the time!
Nevertheless, G & A happily hopped into the back seat of the GeoBuru and we were off -- dirty, bruised but undismayed -- to search for the next gnome . . .

Another victim of my Gnome gnapping raid, he was quite happy to come along, complaining of rought treatment and being kicked out into the night for no good reason.

Gnome and Away had a very well deserved rest and a good nights sleep inside. He was getting a little too comfortable so I told him he had to go as I was waiting for a tradesman to arrive and I couldn't have him and his mates in my kitchen watching them work. He promised to be good but I told him to go outside and wait for a lift. So he's now being a good gnome and is patiently waiting with Gno- Mare.
Gnome and Away had a great day out at the beach. He hopped in the car and first we went to Botany Bay NP to visit Captain Cooks Landing place and then him and his 3 mates wanted to go whale watching at Cape Solander. I tried to tell them that the humpbacks only drop in in winter but Gnome and Away scrambled out of the car and insisted they get a photo on the cliffs. This little visitor was really behaving like a tourist. Next it was off to Wanda beach. The surf was up, and he couldn't wait to go for a swim but as it was a little cool today, all 4 gnomes had to sun bake first to warm up then they headed for the surf. The waves were a little large for these southern visitors, so out they came and climbed back in the car, covered in sand. I was not happy. They refused to shower at the beach and wouldn't take their clothes off. So when we got home I ordered that they all stand in my back yard while I forced them to shower under the hose clothes and all. Gnome and Away mumbled something under his breathe but did it any way.
All 4 gnomes are now spending a relaxing night at my place.
Gnome and Away has a few battle scars and still has his band aid on his nose but he doesn't seem to have lost any more parts. The salt water is good for wounds.

After a quick trip to Kurnell he decided to wait near Wanda Beach with Gnomeo. They ran off behind a tree together.
4th gnome for the day, all part of the ACT collection. Will have to look for a spot for them all.
Gnome and Away was seeking a peaceful spot. I stumbled on this, not too many cars, quiet neighbourhood I hope. GPS accuracy was only 8m so cross the creek at the easy crossing point and then he is under a rock ledge near the banksia and five tree stumps.
Just logged this cache and didn't want move it and spoil the party of new friends spending time together.
Woopee, a new gnome to play with. Gnome and Away said he was a friend of Dannii Minogue so I picked him up to find out a bit of gossip on the family.

Gnome and Away met Geolady tonight and was quite taken with her!! He asked if I could drop him off with her so i figured why not. After all, what harm could it do
In the interests of keeping Gnome and Away "in circulation" I am dropping him off here tonight becasue I won't have internet access for a few days. But in fact he won't be here until Tuesday morning about 7:30am
You will find them behind the two trunks of a lovely turpentine which is behind a nice seat. I hope there is not too much canoodling going on when you get there

Gnome and Away was enjoying the cool evening drizzle when I called by. He didn't want to go on the pending road trip with the others but was still keen to be moved along...so I obliged
Dropped in here after finding four gnomes. Left in their place.
Finally got one of these gnomes before they got gnabbed - can't seem to get onto many lately. This fellow has been through the wars as well with some damage to his lower bits. Anyway he'll get moved somewhere shortly.
Hey there fellow NSW cachers. Many thanks for all the fun reads about my Gnome's visit to Z's overseas farewell party. I had a few laughs!
Cheers from Canberra!

This is a good spot to view the Blue Mountains and I hope Gnome and Away will like it here when he wakes up and discovers that he's no longer in Kansas -- I mean, Flemington.
To be honest, he was so groggy after last night's event noting Z's trip to Europe that I don't think he realised that I moved him here from nearby Bunnings . . .

I didn't expect to find this guy so soon! I only said goodbye to him last night at about 8pm.
So this was another groggy gnome, sound asleep and snoring, trying to get over the after effects of Z's famous geocaching party!
Where I'll put later today will be very quiet and he can watch the distant Blue Mountains through the trees.

As we drove by the local hardware shop, Gnome and Away saw a nice quiet spot so I left him under the "Bunnings" sign next to the foot path on New Line Road Dural
(I have changed the date of the "move" so that logs appear in the right order, it's all getting a bit hectic with so many people milling around!)

Another Gnome party crasher. This one was causing ruckus around the Paddy bar, so we moved to the Wentworth to settle things down. He still managed to jump around into different peoples arms. Managed to sign him before Strike-A-Light took him for a run to Dural

Where the hell did all these Gnomes come from?! Here I was having a nice quiet Farewell Event before jetting off to Europe tomorrow and no less then 15 Gnomes crashed the event! Among them was Gnome and Away who I hadnt had the pleasure of meeting before so it was good to get a log on him before I left

I met this guy on the bar looking a bit tired so I agreed to take him somewhere quiet for a bit of a nap.
Across the road the party was hotting up and Gnome and Away joined right in
Gnome and Away turned up early to say hi to everyone and had a drink half finished when we had to go across the road.
This gnome had previously evaded my efforts to find him, but he was easy prey on a bistro table on Parramatta Road!
I gnabbed him briefly at the 'Zalgariath's Off to Europe' geocaching party and signed his log book, before someone else took him away again.
So I never got a chance to move him at all!

Technically he's not here yet, but will be from 7pm for the event.
Grabbed today to take to the party tomorrow. Not sure what everyone thought as I walked along Bondi Beach carrying a large gnome!
This battered and bruised gnome decided that the Canberra scene was a bit too rough for him so he jumped in a car and bailed at Bondi Beach for some surf, sea and fun.
Picked up on the way to work. That was a bastard of a tree to climb. A couple walking along the path were a bit surprised to see me come down with a gnome.

Ol Heave Ho was 3 times worse, but fortunately, when I collected him, I had my bigger backpack.
Not early enough M R. I picked it up at 7:30 am on the bike. That was one big & heavy thing to stuff into my backpack, then ride to Woden. Coooeeee, groan,...
We are pleased to announce an almost full recovery. After a final night of recuperation, I had to drag him out of the house! He had become used to the home comforts a bit too much!
We are happy to announce that Gnome and Away has made a full recovery (bar a few cosmetic scars). He does like the attention he has been getting and seems a bit addicted to pain killers and beer. Will place out tomorrow after another night of TLC (and he has spotted another bottle of W6R's beer in the fridge. (see photo)
