Description
Planking is in the headlines at the moment, have you planked on a search for a cache?
After spotting a photo of another team planking during a find this weekend and finding one of our group planking today at Braeside park the thought came, I wonder if there is a planking locationless yet?
Not that I can see, so here it is :)
To log a find, upload a photo of yourself planking whilst out caching.
Please don't try to plank something dangerous, planking can be done safely!

This geocache listing no longer follows the guidelines required for a Locationless cache. https://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Locationless_cache As such we will archive it and encourage the CO to place a locationless cache that meets the new guidelines.
Well today I grabbed a few Locationless caches for the Summer Scavenger Series, and I had the Logan Geocachers Xmas BBQ and Farewell to Nadine party to help me with a few challenges. Sewrainbow took my ph to for me planking with the cache in hand it was hidden not far from where we were all gathered. It was a nice couple of hours in the Karawatha Forest QLD.

While over in Melbourne to see the Avalon Airshow I figured it would be cool to plank while here (hopefully less people know me here) .. so whilst walking along Southbank picking up a few traditionals I moved into a manageable position near the river and now I can log this one
Thanks for such a fun cache Tatty

It was a beautiful morning. Despite it being high tide we decided to head off to attempt TP6498 Point Sorell, on the coastline just east of Devonport in northern Tasmania. The first part of the walk along the Rubicon River to the estuary was pleasant and straightforward. The walk along the coastline wasn't as easy, with rock hopping for about 1.3km being required. We have been out this way before but at low tide - much easier. Along the way we saw a very substantial plank that probably had been washed up on the shore (no one in their right mind would have carried this large plank all this way). The weathering of the plank also suggested that it had been in salt water for an extended period. So, what does one do when you find a large plank (too big to carry back to the car) whilst heading off to a cache? Plank of course. The photo added to the Gallery is of Mrs y’tassie planking on the beached flotsam.
Hi Tatty
Our group attended the event cache GA4790 "Assault on Cathedral Rock" and completed the find on GCYF3E "Wellington Peak F - Groovy Church Music" today.
I decided to plank on top of Cathedral Rock while I had some-one else to take the photo for me. Thanks Budgietas for helping me complete this find.
TFTC and cheers

After finding the micro cache hidden on the train (AC/DC: Rock and Roll Train) I thought that this might be a good location to give this planking thing a go.
Had fun planking while out caching - located GC3REHN Pooches Run Free in Palmerston

Thought i'd grab this one again, on the way to sydney, whilst finding GC21Y3Z (and also grabbing a bathroom break/smokeo break/blister on shoe break)
Planking on a crash barrier is a hard job, as you can possibly guess?

That's me planking, or at least pretending to while having a rest at the bottom of the Wentworth Falls, while pjmpjm did the photo duties. On our way with Team Canary to the Virtual 'Hippos' at Hippocrene Falls down the Jamison Creek.

Planking while at the train station near a cache. there was no one there so I thought I should do something different.
We were out caching with seirra1 when we found a great safe place to plank at the top of the Hummock overlooking Bargara Beach near Bundaberg in Queensland. There are some cool caches and a munzee hide near here and the hummock has the best views. The outlook was fairly hazy today due to some fires in the area. Still worth the trip though.
This plank was performed at the top of the Hummock near Bargara, Queensland, while out caching in the area with us3scouts.
I'm becoming too old for planking.
If I get down too low, I might never manage to get back up again!
I wonder if it's acceptable for a gnome friend of mine to plank for me.
I took his picture while I was finding a survey marker in Beecroft, NSW.
Risque is planking at the corner of Copeland Road and Sutherland Road.
I'm the one still on my feet and holding the camera.

Planking after finding my gnome..i was tired, and even through the car was only 100m away, it's..so far..and uphill..and planking time!
You cant tell, but i nearly fell off. Like winglen said, it's difficult to balance on these things! (same things, i see....that'd explain it)

After driving the Border track a group of us visited the Pertendi cache and found an opportunity to join the rage of planking (taken May22nd)
Gosh it is hard to balance on these things! I had several attempts to get myself stable. Completed near the entrance to the GC cache Extreme Challenge - Tunnel of Terror. I even have my discreet pink wellies on!! Thanks for the find
317. Not that the above coords are at the exact spot that I planked but they are the cache I was doing when this opp came up. Not sure that this wasn't wussy dangerous due to the rays being emitted by the whirly gig.

On a weekend run from Canberra to Bathurst with Winglen and ZsaZsa7 when we stopped for a GC cache at the old spillway lookout over looking Wyangala Dam. Seemed like a chance for a bit of planking...along with a plank.
Thanks for the chance to try something different while caching....
