Description

Do animals sign their initials in wet cement?

I noticed these bird footprints set in concrete on a path in Dru Point Park in Margate, near Hobart.

To log your find upload a photo of animal (not human) prints that have been set into cement and record the GPS coordinates. If you would like to give your explanation of how/why they got there then please do.

One find per cacher please.

I was staying in Preston and on my morning walk came across these dog foot prints in the concrete footpath. Very Happy

While out on my morning walk I came across these dog footprints.

18-Jan-17
Found on the footpath at the north-eastern corner of Poath and Kangaroo Roads.

I would have thought that if the dog was being walked, there would be human prints as well. This is not the case.

Using as a claim for my Summer Scavenger Series.

Thanks for the locationless cache Wilco

GC and one GCA cache. Good wide concrete path and there were human and dog footprints in the cement. Just guessing that someone and their dog went for a walk when they should not have whilst the cement was not right for walking on. TFTL WILCO Clan Minotaur

I've been out looking for tracks when walking around town and spotted these tonight on my way to meet Kato Potato for an evening stroll. They're a little faint, but they appear to be a plover's; my most hated bird. TFTC Wilco

Today while caching in the Hobart Linear Park, we came across some paw prints in the concrete path. We think that a wandering K9 has left a permanent reminder of its visit. The required photo has been added to the Gallery. Thanks for the cache.

On the way back from hiding 3 more SSS cache I noticed these tracks in the footpath. They are only quite small and I deducted that they belonged to a cat. Moreover, they were only in a small area right next to a gate in the fence so I think the cat, being typically curious, came out for a bit of a look around, didn't like what he saw and went back inside!

My husband thought that he had done a great job completing one of those jobs that should have been done years ago. Little did he know that our dog decided he should find out why his favourite dirt holes had disappeared.

In my experience it's always dogs that wander across new cement. Probably after a pat from the irate tradie I reckon. Very Happy
I spotted this one on a walk in suburban Watsonia.

Cheers wilco, thanks for the fun. Clan Griffin

#GA480 - 10:35; Discovered these tracks while I was out to grab a nearby GC cache. I'm a little suspicious about how they were made and I believe I spotted the culprits nearby, with a witness watching them Silenced but without much to say. TFTC wilco Very HappyClan Cerberus

Leura, NSW

Found these tracks permanently memorialised on the concrete steps while taking a walk with Mrs. pjmpjm. A dog? A native animal? I might have to leave it to the experts to decide!

Beautiful spot . . .

Whilst out doing a maintenance run on our Ulverstone to Turners Beach pathway series, we came across these dog paws in the concrete path. We must have walked over them many times before but it is only because we were looking for something for this cache that we noticed them this time.

Hi wilco
Found these tracks in the cement on the way to find GC4R5G1 'A swampy valentine' and took the pics on the way back to the cache mobile at 0842hrs.
These dog prints have been here for quite some time but the dog that may have made them was barking at me from within the house! Noisey little MUTT!!
TFTC and cheers

I've always been intrigued by a set of prints in concrete of stiletto heels no less! Very old too. I'd log but they are clearly human!

Found these fossilised Dinosaur tracks in some ancient mud which had become concretised at Lark Quarry near Winton in Qld, Does that count? lol.

Spotted these bird tracks in some new concrete outside (of all things) the Brisbane Building on 5th Ave New York. Look similiar to prints in the example photo, so I'm guessing pigeon.

Thanks for another neat locationless....
