Haven't seen one for years, but today when I was out on a walk I spotted one parked around the corner near Hornsby in the north of Sydney. It doesn't normally live there so must be visiting. Thanks for another cache opportunity.

There is always motorbikes parked here and today as I went past there was this postie with a modified exhaust, perhaps to give it more power. I have had two of these. A great little bike and fun to ride.

We actually had three of these postie bike on the chook farm growing up, but when the grandparents sold the farm the natives went with it.

We found this specimen on a trip to Taronga Zoo. After a short flight in a plane we exited in the jungles to try and see some tigers. Walking through the small town we couldn't help but stop to get a photo on the 'grandad bike'

I feel like this isn't moving and mail anytime soon though.

This is my postie bike on the back of the second van that carried it. It has been all over Australia and travelled well over 100 000 km on the back of the van. Over a five year period it the bike itself travelled around 40,000 km during my trips. It was the second postie I had. Both ended their life with me when they were stolen.

I've been looking out for one of these for quite awhile.

Spotted a few but never quick enough to capture.

Today was the day as I walked straight up to one in Lorne Victoria.

It was parked out the front of the Life Saving Club.

Spotted this postie on his motor bike as I was at the lights. Not a good picture as it was taken " on the run" . Other ones I have seen around the town zip out of sight too quick!

tis is a postie that was built up to cross Australia from Byron Bay (NSW) to Steep Point in (WA) in pretty much a straight line through the desert etc, and it made it this is the first Postie Bike to cross the continent this was done in 2014

There are two CT110's still being used in Nanango by the street mail delivery contractor. i think most country towns in Qld who have there mail delivered by street mail contractor are still using these old faithful CT110's. I used to use when of these back in the early 1970's to deliver mail in Toowoomba Qld when I was a postie for the then PMG.
