TFTC !!Thanks heaps for this cache. It was an easy and fun find. However, the log book was missing.
On a north island roadie we decided to visit Raglan for a couple of nights.Lets see if the surf is up. There are a few nice rollers and a few bodies catching them.Glad to have followed the COs on their maintenance run. Nice to grab a pristine cache and sign a fresh log.TFTC
Called in for a check, and the box was missing (or placed somewhere different to the origonal spot), so a new cache went in today in the spot described in the hint.
Walked down from the other cache enarby, a windy but clear day with great views. A few people out on the water making the most of the wind. Lots of muddy spots around the cache but a clear path was found for a quick find. TFTC
Wasn't well hidden but after looking in a couple of trees I finally found it, wasn't anything inside apart from log book tftc
Yeah. Found at the second attempt. Great day, heaps of juggles surfing. Thanks for the cache.
Caught some really fun waves, and finally came in when I got cold, so would be rude not to find the geocaches nearby . TFTC
Today was my first attempt at the road to raglan on my learners licence. After soaking up the sun for a couple of hours watching the hydrofoils out in the bay it suddenly occurred to me to check if there were any geocaches here and sure enough this one was pretty close to where i parked the bike. I didnt have a writing stick on hand so took a photo of the cache instead. Thankyou for the cache in this stunning bay where its easy to while away the hours.
found with flossieteacake. lots of people around but fortunately not too close to gz. took us looking at a few different trees before we found the right one.TFTC
After a nice stroll through the reserve we left Daddypig with the geohound sat on a shady rock whilst GeohoundandI carried on to this one. It took a bit for the gps to settle down, so we had a look at a couple of trees before finding the right one. On approach I had thought it was the right one but was put off by what appeared to be a fence in front of it. Almost got stuck in a muddy bit as I reached for the cache.
Tftc. Found with Hazel and Babr on my forst full day in NZ, beautiful location thanks for the cache.
Thanks COs for your caches along this surf coast. We are enjoying the beaches and views that you are bringing us to. This one is well placed out of sight in what must be a busy car park at times.
Located signed and replaced. The car park at this point was empty today but still lots of surfers out enjoying the breaks. TFTC
No one nearby on a chilly morning, gave us time to find this well placed cache. Thanks!Cache # 1,633
First cache in Raglan. Did with The Wandering Dragons and Violet Butterfly. Thanks!Cache # 1,096
Cache # 5,089 - Took a bit of searching with Astro Hunter and Violet Butterfly, as GPS kept floating around in its destination. Finally found it, and all good. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Easy find, ditch is not hidden any more. Bit of rubbish about, seems surfers are not neat people.
Raemoz found it while in NZ for the Australia and New Zealand Police and Essential Services Surfing Competition. What a great event that was!!
I was home and had itchy feet, I knew I had to get out of the house and go for a drive! But where? I needed earth caches for a challenge I'm working on in the USA, so decided on the one at Raglan. It was raining too and it looked like it was going to stay that way for the whole day - and it did!
After getting to the EC, I was parked close to this cache, so wandered over. Found the sistema laying on the ground, so after opening it realised I had left my pen back at the Gorby van, so just took a foto as proof of me being here. Thanks for the cache. I returned it to chest height and added some leaves to cover it a little.

Owlie Team rules the night. Log book missing. There is a small bit of paper with 3 finds.
Found it out in the open with no log. I signed a paper I had found & left it in the cache. I put it where I thought it was meant to go in the fork of a tree & covered with leaves & sticks. TFTC
Checked it out, and it was missing. A new cache in place, please make sure you cover it well with leaves and sticks when departing.
I followed the description, crossed a ditch and found an excellent tree that also happened to be at the right coordinates, But after going around it 3 times probing in all the spots that seemed likely, sadly I could not see or feel any container.
4 June 2022 08:35 . Day two of the "unfinished business" road trip (picking up PWGT caches, solved puzzles, previous DNF and anything else that I fancied stopping for). A beautiful spot, with Surfers already on the waves. TFTC. Easy when you spot the right tree!

Latvian Camp at Camp Raglan this weekend! Exploring the nearest caches.
I rock-hopped here all the way along the shoreline from Ngarunui beach.
Coords tried to lead me elsewhere but I settled for the closest substantial sized tree.
Kia ora! Paldies!
TFTC, Butterfly_Lady!

We have been planning a trip to Raglan for some time now to find the PWGT caches. The weather was lovely, so today was the day. We had plenty of time to explore more of Raglan, and to find a few more caches including this one. We remember visiting Manu Bay a couple of years ago to do a cache along the beach. Only a handful of cars here this afternoon, and we had no problem finding the cache. Nice to return to this lovely beach reserve. TFTC.
Went to a visit to raglan on the way found this cashe. Easy find thanks for the cashe.
Quick find while out and about with kids on this stormy day... family holiday!! Cache located quickly. Signed and replaced. Tftc
Found it yesterday the 17th - went for a drive in the country chasing a rainbow to Raglan where we visited the different beaches. Mum passed away peacefully at 8am yesterday morning which is why we went for a trip. I use to always video me finding caches and send it to mum as a virtual tour as she was bed bound. I commemorated this one to her. As written in the log. Thanks for the cache.
Lots of surfers out today enjoying the swell. No trouble finding this one thanks to the hint
Easy find....tucked away from public beach and car park...
We bumped into Mr and Mrs Capperz here!
I was interested to note some of the beaches here are very rocky.

Forgot to do the butterfly cache just back the way but redeemed ourselves here as we pulled in to watch the surfers and check out this bay and beach. Sure enough no sooner as I headed to GZ we encountered our Auckland caching friends yet again. Nice and easy find here and replaced as found.
A first visit to Raglan for us today, we've passed the turn off a few times and been saying for a while we should go. The recent Geotour caches were probably the final nudge we needed and we headed there today after the weather forecast improved from its previous of a rainy weekend. We headed off at the leisurely time of 0830 and back for a reasonable tome of 1830. Grabbed the Geotour cache in Ngaruawahia on 'the way past', and a nice trip to see the Bridal Veil falls too. Nice day in Waikato and bumped into supernannny, Merlot and Nette on at least 4 occasions as we moved around the region. Thanks to all COs.

Lots of muggles here today but most of them are either in the surf or watching it from the carpark. A quick clamber through the long grass and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
Another interesting spot. Amazing how many people have time to surf on a weekday!! tftc
What a wonderful beach, we have never been here before and really enjoyed our visit. Such a beautiful place.
There were some muggles not too far from GZ but fortunately their van made a nice barricade to shield our activities and we were able to find the cache undetected.
Thanks for bringing us here.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... On the trail of further PWGT caches and anything else along our pathway.
A busy spot, but most visitors attentions were focused on the water. We followed the instructions on approach and made a quick find in the shade. Thanks Butterfly_lady & Radio Nut 50 and TFTC.

Found a box lying in the long grass, opened it up, nope someones bait box, thankfully not too rank. A bit of mucking about in the wet long grass and soon had the real one in hand.

On a road trip down the west coast of the north island. Exploring and finding some geocaches along the way. TFTC.
I could see the gz from the car park.
On holiday in the area with my kids for a few days. Tftc

Qef thanks to the hint and good coords. Beautiful day here today, stayed up the top for a while and watched the surfers doing their stuff. Tftc
A quick find with Talla64. A very pleasant area to visit. Thank you for the cache.
Out for a sunset run and this was my 3rd find on the run. Lovely way to spend the evening, exercising and catching caches!
Heading back into Raglan after an epic adventure in some of the local lost forests, we stopped upon this cache.....
The cache is all good.
TFTC.

Was wandering around a couple of trees, before the phone settled on the right one
The sun is shining, and so far we have had success with our finds.
Another fun find, thanks for the hides Butterfly_lady with RadioNut50

Another fun find in Raglan. Loving these hides and the views on a brilliant sunny morning. With rustynz
My GPS was bouncing around all over the place... it had me climbing up the bank at one point, but after noting the terrain rating I knew it wasn't up there. It wasn't until I found a pen hanging in a tree (presumably dropped by the previous finder) that I knew I'd found the right tree, and then the cache. I picked up the TB, TFTC!
We have gone down to Alert 3 in our Covid-19 lockdown, and Geocaching is now allowed, so time to re-enable the caches.
DISABLING THIS CACHE TO DISCOURAGE HUNTING DURING THE COVID-19 LOCK-DOWN. NEW LOGS AFTER TODAY MAY BE DELETED. THE CACHE WILL BE BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
