I haven't found this cache. I haven't even looked for it. I am logging it as a find, so that I can remove it from the map feature and know exactly how many caches I have left that haven't been disabled. I will remove this log if/when the cache is enabled.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

So many DNF's today including me. Previous finders with us and still no luck.

19-Jun-11
Unfortunately, today we just could not feel the power. In the company of previous finders who suggest the power is not there to be felt. Perhaps an owner should give this one a powerful look.

19-Jun-11
Bah Humbug... I have driven past this area every working day for the last few years and thought I would get this cache one day. Clearly I left it too long and I suspect there is nothing left to be found. The guys below said it all. A swag of experienced cachers. Two previous finders who suggested this was not a tricky hide, clear terrain with no problem hunting... NO CACHE. Twisted

I noticed that the owner has not logged on since 2009. I suspect this one is unlikely to be resurrected... Twisted

19-Jun-11
After a nice morning in the area caching, the large group decided we should give this one a go. We were luckily in the company of some previous finders, so we thought we would find this one pretty easily.

After a decent search of the area, we decided the cache must have disappeared Sad

Hopefully the cache is still there, however with so many experienced cachers, we were unable to find it. Hopefully this cache can be looked at soon Smile

Walked in to this one, THIS TIME!! but wont be NEXT TIME!!! drove around the streets and the new houses to look for a way in. eventually found a storm drain that led to the area in question. With rain coming over and my exit a storm drain I picked up the pace a bit, but never found the prize at the GZ, searched the whole area and there are many geotrail around the GZ. Found a spot that looked like an indent of an ammo tin and it was under something that match the clue and sticka nd stuff looking like camo lay nearby. So.... I think this one needs a check to see if it is still in the spot

Not the easiest of caches to get to looked easy on the map....we must have chosen the "3rd"option. Couldn't feel any power nearby either....batteries must have needed recharging.

03-Jul-10
Found today with Dannza on our trip to Toowoomba. "Feel the Power" is what I was singing as I slipped down a muddy embankment on to my face. Mr & Mrs Dannza could not stop laughing. Lucky the clay was very soft and I was able to continue up the hill to the cache. Signed the log and returned to the car where I had to change my clothes and wash off. Goodness knows what the neighbours thought! TFT adventure. TNLN

16-Aug-09
Quiet a walk. Verified first that it was public land with one of the neighbors. And in fact he was aware of GeoCaching himself and had done it before and was very surprised to hear there was a cache so close by! He didn't know. !!

Signed the book. Took nothing and left a web card.

We came in along the power lines as it seemed the best way, some muggles withe their kids on motorbikes seemed to be wondering why we would be going for a stroll along here. Nice easy find once we got there. TFTC

Decided to dip the day of the triffids coin in here, am planning to take it to Melbourne in October but it may as well see some sites up here.

24-Jun-09
Found after a small hike. It was still quite muddy along the tracks and almost found myself swimming across some of the puddles/lakes, but the cach found fairly easy in the end. TNLNSL, TFTC

Found at 1500. Drove around all the streets that backed onto the power line easment but could not find away in. Finished up parking the car on Sth Deebing Creek Rd and walked up the easment for approximately 500meters. No gate at the moment but new steel posts have been concreted in. TNLNSL TFTC

Found thanks.

15-Nov-08
GPS took us to the end of a dead end street. There were houses all around and we could not find any public route to go beyond the houses and yards into the area the GPS was telling us to go, which seemed to be behind the houses. We might try to get back one day to see what we missed. Cheers, Brizzyguitar.

25-Oct-08
Well what can I say geokids thought it was great as we took the 4x4 through the puddles. Great place for a cache.
TFTC

27-Jul-08
The track I chose was pretty torn up and muddy and the almost brand spankers geocycle was well and truely christened on the ride in to the cache. It was fun though and the cache was found safe and dry. SL. Thanks for the hunt.

In: Pencil eraser[I think]. Out: Highlighter.

03-May-08
In the book of LEDGIN'S. Found at 1145hrs.

We know we went the long way to this one - what a hoot! We found some really interesting tracks and were geographically lost for quite some time, but were having the very best time. Just as well we were in the geosubaru and not the geoprado - Subaru's rule!!!!

Parked at GZ - literally. We were so surprised when we turned the GPS on to find that we were so close after having had so much fun in the bush. Thanks heaps Regula Jargon.

21-Feb-08
Accessed without any problem. Cache in good condition. Nice area. TNLN. Thanks Regula Jargon

28-Jan-08
Parked car close and enjoyed a short walk to GZ. Glad I did as there was evidence left from the previous bogged car in the form of old tyres. Took nothing, Left soap. TFTC.

27-Jan-08
The 4wd track has degraded and has lots of sink holes so be careful if you're planning this one Smile

Easy find in the end, TFTC.

In: Golf ball.
Out: Plastic starfish.

02-Jan-08
An easy drive in the 4wd even though it had been raining in the area for some time. I'm not sure if this is allowed as it doesn't seem to be public land, though others may know better.

Thanks for the cache and the chance to revisit these and other maintenance tracks which were part of my job in a previous life. Big Grin

21-Jul-07
No problems for the CR-V either but I took the easier pathway in after first looking at the track BEDMAKER must have used. TFTC.

08-Jul-07

Being a Cache virgin I decided to try a cache in an area I am familiar with, I have ridden my mountain bike past this spot on numerous occasions. I didn't have anything to leave so i just recorded my visit in the note book.I am planning to create a series of caches in the area that can be linked together to form a trail ride for mountain bikes, would you have any objection to me including "feel the power"?

24-May-07
A very early morning find for the B-Team, while in the area for work. Coincidentally, this just happended to be find #500 for Tealby - the A-Team was not happy for the B-Team to get the glory! Anyway, drove close to the GZ, but decided not to try out the off-road capabilities of the hire car and walked the last 700m. TNLN Good Luck!

15-May-07
Found with Tratty - nice spot for a bit of off road practice - doesnt rain around here much anymore. Cheers TFTC

15-May-07
Drove in from Boonah Rd, a nice easy find. TNLN. TFTC.

13-May-07
We attempted to get to this cache from Hughes road and thought we might be able to do a drive by with the 4WD. However we underestimated the effect of the little amount of rain they had just received. All of the dust had turned to mud and we had no traction whatsoever. We were committed and unable to turn around so we slipped all the way to the bottom of the track. The ute was proving unsuccessful so we attempted the remaining 0.5km on foot only to yet again have to turn back as the ground was so muddy it was getting all over us. Ma Kettle finally reached 5ft due to the mud under her shoesSmile! Trials and tribulations awaited us trying to get back up to the main road.
Looking forward to attempting this in the dry.

I don't know if our Corolla wagon is a conventional vehicle or not, but it made it to the cache without any problems...

The cache was an easy find in good condition. We took Elmo and left a puzzle.

Thanks for the cache!

17-Mar-07
Found easily once we worked out the easiest way to the cache. TN - left fuses. TFTC

02-Mar-07
drove all the way to GZ took TB and Video left necklace

24-Feb-07
This cache took a bit more work to find. The roads in the GPS aren't quite all there so it took a bit of trial and error to find the right road. the track we found wasn't ment for low little cars, so we walked the rest of the way. The Geokids were a bit concerned when we found a snake skin right next to the cache but there were no live ones to be seen. TFTC. Coolwe left the Keys to the Kindom TB.

22-Feb-07
Yep , I also found the small and very annoying poodle. Someone has put a piece of pipe on its collar, and I was really hoping that it didnt have a geocaching sticker on it. It just didnt shut up!!! Back to the cache. I found it fairly exposed so I covered it up after filling out the log. I also got to feel the power of an F1-11 while I was walking back to the car. It banked just about me and took off very quickly. Maybe the dog annoyed the pilot too ?? TFTC Cheers The Nanks

04-Feb-07
This cache took longer than I thought it would. Quite confusing trying to find the right road to access the cache. After driving in circles for a while I finally got within 300m of GZ. Nice quiet walk to GZ (except a small and noisy poodle who objected to my presence) and an easy find. Certainly an interesting and powerful spot for the cache. No swaps made. Signed log.

Thanks regula jargon for the cache.

26-Jan-07
Crikey ! Just finding the road in to get near GZ was a challenge [:o]
I sailed across the obvious road to the cache on the main highway. But finding how to get onto the obvious road took a heap of detours Smile
I finally worked it out whilst sitting in the carpark of a nearby pub. I could see the road I wanted to be on. I could see cars magically appearing and dissappearing onto the mystery road from my vantage point [:o]
After a good half hour of driving around and parking in non-cache accesible places, I finally got to within 200 metres and could really feel the POWER Big Grin
TFTC and the frustration [^]

20-Jan-07
Woohoo! The HawMorFords found it first!
Our first cache for the day as we head west. We drove straight to the cache - obviously we found the right track - but would not recommend this for conventional vehicles.
No swaps. Left TB.
Thanks for the cache.
