Up the hill late in the day. cache was in the open and wet inside the box but log was dry. SL and re-hid cache with bigger rock. TNLN. we did the walk around Grass point the next day
This was a really good walk, glad we went anti-clockwise so we went down the steep bit instead of up. Fantastic views along the coast. The kids handled it OK, but we had a tight rein on them along the scary bits. Interesting to read about the whaling days.
Thanks CP's

Went for a walk to this cache after a great boat cruise around the Bruny coast, (which was awesome even if the weather wasn't so good). Were both a bit tired of hiking (had previously done a big hiking trip on Freycinet), so we didn't do the loop, just walked uphill to the cache. Saw a white wallaby on the way down! There were a couple of other people crouched quietly in the grass taking pics of it (with a much better camera, no doubt), so we didn't go closer. Thanks for the cache and the awesome wildlife.
!!! Saw a red wallaby/kangaroo!!! And the cutest, fattest echidna!!!! was awesome
After gettin' to tha start of tha trail, an' seeing that tha fence were down, me an' Navigational Officer Bek decided ta take tha straight line route, an' bushbash our way there. Five minutes in, we decided that jumpers weren't a good idea, an' that water was a good idea, an' that I should've brought tha backpack wit' tha water in it.
We got there in tha end, though, an' saw a wallaby (kangaroo?) en route. IEventually, Navigational Officer Bekah found it, an' was proud wit' 'erself.
We also saw an echidna on tha way back, jus' after tha camera died!
Didn' take a thing from this 'un, but a nice walk, yarr!

Cache # 3 on Bruny saga. Went similar way as Fidjit...but wished I'd stuck to the track. Wasn't sure how much time I had..so didn't complete the circuit...but have been out to the point before...but not over the cape. Cache found easily....all in good order. Exc. views over Adventure Bay on the way back...certainly a lovely spot. TNLNSL...TFTEC...Cheesy pigs...Cheers.
Rated: for Overall Experience
Arrived at the beach and read the signage. Decided I was going to go out to Grass Point and tackle the cache from that direction.
I'm so glad that I forgot. I got to the track junction (see waypoint) and decided that it was going to be easier if I went uphill now.
Found the cache easily and continued on the circuit track up to the summit.
Fantastic views up and down the coast, took heaps of pictures and a few more waypoints.
From the cache I took the colouring pencils and pencil shavings (I sharpened the pencil left in the cache), left a dome popper and an Incredible.
Thanks for showing me this area, Cheesy Pigs.
I was on my way back from Grass Point when I heard the news about dak's emu mob. RIP mate.

Tried this the day before with T14 but weather and an old map stopped us. Redid with R12. Straight up the hill, found the cache and back down again. Took pig LED , left normal LED . TFTC. ( We'll get over to the cape next time )
Phew, was not expecting that walk!!
Nice spot, but we didn't walk all the way around as we needed to race back to the ferry.
Great wonder though.
Done with Cache my Bubbles 2nd of three for the day!

Have done this walk before ages ago but was keen to revisit as the views are so spectacular. Took junior kmiatae as well and she managed the walk well with a bit of help going up the hill. Found the cache easily. Thanks Cheesy Pigs.
Our first find on South Bruny Island for today.
We have been looking forward to doing this cache for ages! We both had the day off today and the little red tags were all organized to be looked after, so after dropping them off we were we were on our way.
Naturally we went straight to the cache but after finding it and logging it we kept going and really enjoyed the round trip.
Such spectacular scenery and surprisingly very few muggles about.
We spotted a musk lorikeet and watched a white breasted sea eagle soaring above the rocks. Took heaps of photos and even read the history of the area (rebulus will be proud!)
All in all a really enjoyable 6.5km walk, thanks heaps Cheesy Pigs

When I woke early, decided I had time to head out before brekky so went with GPS and phone in hand! Got to the cache (logged at 6:25am) and the cape was beckoning. So continued on and around the circuit which was stunning at that time of morning. Must be one of the most spectacular short walks. Got back to camp 1 hour and 15 minutes later went for a quick wade, then back to camp. What a start to the day! Thanks Cheesy Pigs, enjoyed it hugely.
did the round trip with little tacker great views ,had to shelter in hollow log to wait out a hail storm but returned unharmed , great cache tnlnsl thanks cheesy pigs
easy cache to get to, good exercise grand she devil found, only had shorts on & had a few scratches.tftc.t/n.s/l
Did the circuit and headed to Grass Point first. A lot of interesting history that I only vaguely knew about. Got to the point and headed up to the cape. That is a NASTY hill, reminded me a bit of Mt Direction but possibly steeper!? Every now then I stopped cursing the CPs long enough to take in the incredible views (and rest). Found cache easily on the descent. Took key ring and left gluestick. Thanks CPs, I needed the exercise!

Very easy find as it could be seen from the track. Pity its not out at the cape as some might grab the cache and run missing out on great coastal views. The round trip walk is a good one and will take about 2.5 hrs. 1 hr would only get the cache and return the same way, unless you are running. Well it did get us there and was a most enjoyable walk. It was a perfect day to snaffle a couple of FTFs on Bruny Island today. A bit of a slow start to the day, we got the 11am ferry so were only able to do the two caches (with lunch and a swim in between)before catching the 7pm ferry back. Would be nice to come and stay for a couple of weeks to explore further afield. Thanks, Cheesy Pigs, for putting these caches here to bring us back here once again. We made plans last night to grab half a dozen other caches on the island but it was not to be.
took stickers left spinning top sl
A top spot thanks Cheesy Pigs.
