I just don't see that I'm going to get the time to re-instate this cache, so it will be better to free up the area.
Need to find a new suitable place to hide a cache nearby. This was my first "hide" and therefore I am reluctant to archive it.
Needing to find 50 caches in a day at least 1k apart, for geo licence challenge; I had decided today was the day, as I was already up early, dropping my daughter off at the International Airport at an un-godly hour of the morning.
#18 - Jumped out of car and started heading towards path, but there was an elderly gentleman also of for a walk, he was obviously going to be slower than me. So I stopped to look out over the water.
The wind was so strong that it dried out my clothes that had been soaked through from the rain earlier in day. Fantastic - it's mid day and the first time I've been dry (except for my socks) since 4.30 this morning. TFTC

[green] Came up to Auckland from Rotorua with my sister's family - her husband's work (Red Stag forestry products ) are entered in the trolley derby in the Domain today. Keep an eye out for Framing Hell! Woke up this morning at 6 a.m. but the race is not till lunch, so everyone is still in bed. Got up and went walking.
I found a pen lying on the ground, around the corner of the retaining wall here, and though Ah-ha! This is it! Opened the pen... no log! Drat! Found the cache a short time later and realised that the pen belonged to it. Confirmed it still writes and put it back in its home. The retaining wall here slowed me down - after doing a few other caches hidden around retaining walls in Silverdale I was expecting something much nastier!

Wow this cache IS in plain sight. Wouldn't last long where I come from. A big container, large enough to hold the geocoin I picked up in Sydney, but I chickened out. Pretty windy round this point but beautiful views. First trip to Farm Cove, so thanks for bringing me here. TFTC

A quick find as cache lying on the ground in direct muggle view. Signed and replaced out of view and in a spot related to the hint. TFTC!
Found during a spot of night caching in the area, in order to secure our 500th cache. Not many muggles about tonight, making it an easy find. Cache, however was in plain sight, so we tried to cover it up better! Beautiful area and definitely some amazing houses! TFTC
Awesome! Our first find! I finally figured out how to use our GPS. We left the cool treasure inside for the next person.
Out here today with angeshirl and made this one our first stop. Quite a nice day to be out so plenty of people around, but luckily they'd thinned out by the time we got to GZ. Quick find in the likely spot and off to the next. TFTC
Made the quick grab in between a family of young cyclists. One had trouble staying upright. She would pull out in front of the group then crash in the grass but refused to get up until the rest of the gang caught up to her again even though she was OK. She did this at least twice that I saw, and it seems that mum was getting a bit desensitised to the whole thing. TB out. Cheers for the cache.
Nice quick find on an afternoon bicycle ride. I'm sure the muggle approaching after replacing the container thought I had just put the bike down to take a leak. Oops. TFTC.
Very easy find. Was quitely amazed that this cache is still here, as it is in plain sight.....well maybe not muggles!
once again lots of muggles around. I found it quickly while Dad sat on the nearby bench.
We carried on to this one from Tamaki River views passing several Muggles who had walked past us at the previous cache. When we got to GZ we had to then wait while they went past us again before we could search. JacktheAllBlack (8yo) found it very quickly once the muggles had passed by.
Lovely morning out with the girls I babysit. They swapped a small rubber for another small rubber
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We spent a nice afternoon out East Auckland, picking up a few caches as we drove around. A couple of muggles stopped right near GZ, but once they moved it was a nice quick find. Thanks for the cache!

A little bit sad this is the last cache to find on this walkway as its so lovely, if a little windy today. Missed the cache on the first pass, then decoded the hint after some thought and what do you know there it was.

Nice easy find on a beautiful sunny adternoon. Great wheelchair friendly area too! Have dropped Coffee To Go travel bug in this cache. TFTC.
Finding this cache wasn't actually as plain sailing as I had expected!!
It was just starting to turn dark, and I was kinda looking at the wrong elevation, and fully missed the cache on initial skims of the area!!
Then, it started pouring down with rain like completely crazy, and I didn't really know what to do as I could no longer really see in the dusk and rain! Searched a bit more, but expected to give up and come back later, as this was to be the last cache of the day anyways.
But no! Found it as soon as I turned around! How did I not see it before?! Haha, silly me... was about time for me to go home then... I'd been out since I left for church in the morning!!
TFTC!!

Great day for a walk but loads of muggles about on this beautiful stretch of walkway.
The last find at this reserve. Took a little Tiki and replaced with a neckless. Signed the log and headed off to Lloyd Elsmore Park. Thanks
This was the first time that I had been to this reserve and I thought that it was pretty cool. Quick and easy find with not many muggles around. TFTC.
Dropped by again, this time to retrieve Excalibur to start him on his world tour. Didn't write in the log this time. However, before Excalibur heads abroad he must as they say not "leave town until he's seen the country".
Had to hide from a rain squall coming up the river, and chose the right place to be. Nearly fell over it. TFTC
Pleased to see this back up and running in such a nice spot to have lunch, TFTC
Taken a while but its back with new container, log book and a few "treasures. Dropping off Geordie Magic TB
Finally got to check the cache - Yes its gone. I will renew the cache in the near future.
Nice day out exploring the area and seeking hidden treasures. Great stash spot....picked up TB
Dropped coin... was misplaced but recovered - sorry for long delay.
Happy journey!

Nice to find this walkway - can imagine things look lovely on a sunny day and with the tide in - but it was still pretty nice today

One of four caches found today on the lovely Rotary Walkway/cycleway - all were accessed from the path as we cycled along
Strolled along the pathway collecting a few caches along the way. Made the find with relative ease without any passersby being any the wiser. Cache was a little exposed when found so rehid a little better. TFTC.

#717: Found on our second attempt, though when we arrived at the GZ, the cache was out in the open and we could not find any GC within. We signed the log and put it back where we suspect it was meant to be.

Sigh So many muggles, even thought it wasn't a very nice day!! Just couldn't find it!
Went there as a walk with parents and decided to have a look again; Dad found it after some searching. They are inexperienced, and did not understand why I was trying to keep the geocache out of muggle's eyes and trying to get them to stop searching as muggles came walking along. Now I'm got more mozzie bites, but nevermind! ^__^ Thanks for the pencil, didn't bring my own TFTC!
Quick find - but a few mozzie bites (including one to the head for one of our party)
Great place we've not been to before - spent some time with the outdoor gym equipment round the corner before heading over to Snakes and Ladders

Nice easy find today, we were on a roll.... only 1 DNF at this point... Nice spot we hadn't visited this area before, and are glad we took the time to look around.
