With the installation of a gate some 700m from the cache it has become much less accessible, and certainly not a quick job to maintain it. My work schedule simply does not give me daylight hours suitable for a walk on very muddy roads.
So, as much as I want this cache to survive, I am not in a position to maintain it for at least a few weeks.

Hi there WazzaAndWenches,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,
Bunjil

Looked all around the area in a 20m radius but no luck. Found a couple of holes in trees where it looked like it should be but no luck Cache might have been mingled. If anyone finds let me know
DNF @ 16:41 with AmethystPig, Muggle-L and j-bean.
In Echuca for an Easter getaway with family and friends and the cemetery is the closest caching location to where we are staying, so it makes sense to tackle them first. But now we're moving on from the cemetery to the back of beyond (the veil).
On arrival at GZ we quickly spotted the expected location, complete with SPOS. Unfortunately there were no little piggies at home. We spent far too long searching the surrounding area before calling it.
Thanks anyway WazzaAndWenches.

Out on a Geocache run with SirJ-Oz, AmethystPig and J-Bean. We hunted high and low, but no luck.
No joy for team SirJ-Oz, Muggle-L, j-bean and myself (hmm, maybe we need to come up with an actual team name!) - we found some perfect camo in the perfect place and bang on the coordinates, but it was sorely lacking anything vaguely cache-like. We extended the search area 10m in all directions and tried all the obvious, less obvious and downright ridiculous spots but came up blank.
Looks like this cache has been muggled.
Nice pile of sticks at GZ in the obvious spot at 0m
But no cache.
Widened search with no joy

I loved my morning walk around here before leaving Echuca . Thanks for bringing me here
Now I know the meaning! It might be hot but rather be out and about as the canopy does provide some shade - it’s very much worth it as I love a mission and this old forest. Last day in Echuca and then off to Wangaratta for the MEGA. Great time with plenty of quality caches in Echuca. TFTC AND THE FUN
No problem finding this cache. Nice river nearby.
e.Gregory1 and Freddo decided to travel to Wangaratta for Geocaching Victoria’s first 2022 Mega event. The attraction of GeoMaze icon was just too tempting. We packed the Land Cruiser for a bubble environment. There would be some public exposure but we would be keeping it minimal. Fortunately we did not bother with any warm clothes. Fortunately we packed some Bushmans with +20% DEET. There were caches to find and we found caches. We saw a lot of interesting places and met the occasional geocacher or two in the field.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Found as I made my way from Adelaide to the Mega event at Wangaratta with Freddo.
We meandered our way across northern Victoria, camping along the river and generally avoiding contact with other people as far as possible to minimise covid risks. We targeted some specific caches of interest, but also took the opportunity to find other caches opportunistically as we were passing.
Thanks WazzaAndWenches for the cache.

This was a quick find on a lovely walk by the river. Many thanks for placing the cache here.
A neat series, got to stretch the legs with a few km's and visit some famous Australian river junctions, one of the highlights of our Echuca trip, TFTC WazzaAndWenches and the great placement !!!
Out and about on a school night exploring the locations. A nice quick find. Great place for a walk with lovely views. Thanks for the hide.
Found with my beau dalerious as we were ftf hunting on a dark and rainy night. We had a break in truck arrivals at work so we took the bit between our teeth and headed out into the night on a mission. It turned out to be a very rewarding expedition after a few drama's with a certain vehicle. Thank you WAW for providing this cache in a beautiful area, even though we could not see the view, we knew it had to be there.
Lockdown #5 is hopefully heading towards its close, with the numbers looking good for Victoria today (not so good on the other side of the Murray). With our geodogs recovered from their nasty bout of doggy gastro and the sun shining, we were all in need of an opportunity to get out and walk. We are fortunate that the place we are staying in Echuca is so close to such beautiful bushland that it has plenty of walking tracks and some caches. We had walked up to the boat ramp and picked this up on our way back. The cache is in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache, WazzaAndWenches.
It was rare treat to have a day of caching and exploring around Echuca with the Fam. The track into this was a but slushy. We gave the 4wd a bit of a mud bath. The track was closed off so we had a lovely walk in to the cache. Very beautiful area alongside the river TFTC
I was only taking Rex for a run in the forest
Next thing I knew a few hours had passed[?] and I'd found 12 Moor=Shepp caches
We'd had fun wandering, driving and looking in the bush for these hides[^]
Then as we were about to get the last few, dalerious rang and asked if I wanted to do a mad caching dash somewhere with him[?][^] So we never got home as we drove to dalerious' and got into his car[^] and then off to Echuca[^]
I found 1 cache there which brought my day's total to 13 cache finds
The cache I found at Echuca was one that now needed a walk due to a road closure
On a cool night, it was the perfect time to walk in and back out[^][^]
The night was finally concluded by a walk in the Echuca cemetery at midnight while we delivered some letters for dalerious to find a mail run[^]
Last time I got anywhere near this cache it was about 40degrees and there was no way I was walking in there!!
Tonight it was a lovely night with a small breeze[^] and so it was a pleasure to wander in on my tired legs[|)][xx(][|)] after a day of bushwalking/driving to find 12 caches
Luckily dalerious made the trip fun[^] so it didn't seem as long as it could have[^]
Now I no longer will be reminded that I didn't drive in to find this cache while it was still possible to do it as a drive by[^]

Another trip to Echuca with two good friends chasing a select few caches for a variety of challenges I have been working on, and we managed to slip this little egg into the basket as well.
This one was really for Locus Cache. To me at night time, it was just a D1/T1.5 trad' that you could just pick up on the side of any road anywhere, and to Rex it was just another walkies, but to L.C. it was a nemesis cache that has haunted her radar for way too long.
So on this mild evening locus cache, Rex and I made the 800 metre stroll/struggle by torchlight past the bollards to GZ and back again having successfully added two more team names to the cache's log.
What is easy for some can be quite a challenge for someone else. My good friend has the right to feel quite chuffed with herself. [^]

Sorry I didn't get to see the meeting of the waters in daylight. I'm sure its quite lovely.

It's funny to think sometimes how I have been caching for well over three years now, and Echuca is the place of my birth and my hometown and I come up here once a month, and and also own caches up here...
and I am still only just now finding this treasure. One of my very favourite geocaches to find is a bush hide.
This area brings back a lot of childhood memories for me.️

Finally had a chance to trek in and grab this cache. Lovely track along the Campaspe, which isn’t really flowing, but gee the Murray is still mighty. TFTC WazzaAndWenches
Easy enough drive in, nice view across the (very low) river, short careful walk while keeping an eye out for danger noodles, nice spot TNLNSL TFTC
Used to come by here alot. The banks have eroded alot since the last time. Nice to get back here. Moving trackable

With the wedding done and dusted that I was attending, it was now a new day with lots of caches to be found before heading for home.
I had now turned my sights on the caches around Echuca that I missed when I was here a couple of months ago.
I wasn't far from this one last time but the road was so slippery and muddy that I decided not to continue all the way to this one.
Today the conditions were totally different and it was very dry and easy and the road was easy to drive on.
I reached GZ and did look in a few places before finding the right one.
**Thanks to WazzaAndWenches for placing this cache.**

Great little drive though the trees along the river. Quite a bit of mud, but not unusual given it is winter. Nice little stroll to uncover the cache in good condition. Thanks for bringing us to this excellent location. Tftc
My carefully planned tour of Echuca's GC route was rudely interrupted by a non cross able river. Who put that there! I am glad I made the effort to ride around and find this GC. Fantastic scenery. Great cycling. TFTC
The flood water has dried up and the area is its usual arid self.
All good to go.
General maintenance check done as well.

There's a lot of water flowing in the nearby river. So much, in fact, that the water has covered the access track and this cache is now either inaccessible or is slowly making its way to South Australia.
Found with Muggle mate while in Echuca on the Lions National Convention. What a muddy road. TFTC
Quick find of this cache, thankfully the tracks there are quite ok for two wheel drive. Thanks.
Loved the info here about early Echuca, but the track has certainly been cut up,during wetter times TFTC WandW
