We live in the neighbourhood and finally decided to do this multi-cache after been to the Parklands a few times with our geodog. Lovely day and lovely walk. All WP's easy to find and solve, except WP5. The sign has been replaced so we couldn't get a number for this one.
We still managed to find the GZ area without the answer for WP5 but will need to come back another day to narrow our search area with the exact coordinates and find the cache.

fab day to explore and wander the Parklands, especially the Spiritual trail with geodog. Had to faff with a few numbers due to some ambiguity and a faded sign. TFTC!
I took the tour all around the park, and it didn't really take all that long. Most of the questions were straight forward and I thought that I was doing well until I came to the creek crossing. It seems that there are two different questions here for the same part of the coordinates and they both give you different answers? Ultimately I entered them both in as waypoints and picked the one that made the most sense, but it would be nice if the CO could clarify this waypoint better.
It was a nice walk following the creek and the hidden benches by the still waters. I crossed over Bridges and rock hopped back over further down. Then the path climbed up, following the concrete bike path and then even further up to the top of what felt like a man made hill. From here you had a great view out over the park.
I calculated out the final coords, and set off to find the container. The hint had me searching for something entirely different from what I found and I almost gave up before I found it on the ground. I returned it to where I thought it was meant to be.
This could use a little maintenance, both on the cache page and on the container, but all in all it was a nice cache.
Thanks for the find.

What a great cache to explore this park - one that I never knew existed! I double checked a couple of the answers because the stones cross check for when it’s flooded doesn’t seem to work. I set off to where the co ords took me and managed to find the cache. I was a little surprised by the cache to be honest but per previous logs I suspect this is not the original.

A few days late logging but this was also found after the cache awards.
I met up with LouJean70 and Fam-o-five and continued the search. I also made sure none of the kidlets went too close to the edge.

Having time to spare before attending the Victorian cache of the year awards, we made our way through all the waypoints along this glorious trail. So many beautiful little nooks in the park which we wouldn’t have discovered without this cache. The kids really enjoyed the natural “playground” on offer.
Once the awards were over, we joined several other teams to get the cache at GZ, and it was a long search before finally another team found a cache in the area-though no quite the cache that was described. We were able to sign a logbook anyway, and that satisfies us.
Thank you ssmc4 for showing us the parkland which was wonderful to explore!

Visited today after attending the 2018 Victorian Geocaching awards. Three were many people wandering around in this lovely parkland. We wanted to pick up the ones we missed last time so set off with [@BFMC](http://coord.info/PRR1B6A) for a wander.
We were soon in the company of Spiffy who knew what we were looking for but it didn't appear. We found another cache which may be a replacement.
Lovely spot.

After attending to Vic Cacher of the Year event. Along with crank1 and pwala to this cache. Puzzle solved. Found it. Thanks ssmc4 placing this multi
After the Cache of the year awards today we were amongst the many who set off to pick up some caches around this park. We had a few EC's to target but also had this one on the radar to fill another hole in our JASMER chart. Once at GZ we were all scrounging around scratching our heads wondering where it could be when [@Crack'n'LeeLee](http://coord.info/PREMQM6) spotted it. Well, maybe thats it, maybe it's not. It would certainly seem as though a throw-down was left here last last year, only a couple of signatures on the log and it doesnt match the hint at all. In the absence of anyone in the group finding anything else, we gladly took it. Thanks for the cache.
For anyone coming in the future, disregard the hint and look above ground level.

I arrived at the caching awards early so walked the whole park and gathered all the waypoint information. After the awards a few of us climbed up and down and around everywhere but found nothing.
My PAF then told me what we should be looking for because they found it last year. This item could not be found but we have all signed the replacement cache found at GZ instead.
Thanks ssmc4 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Found with Crank1 and Kangas11. Nice strolling along the park. TFTMC and bring us here
We were early for the nearby event so Dad and I decided to join Spiffy- on an enjoyable walk around the park gathering the required information. After the event we joined a few teams in the search for the final. We hunted for quite a while leaving no stone unturned while making sure the little kids didn’t go too close to the edge. As we were about to give up, another team joined the search and a find was made. It didn’t match the clue but it did match some logs. Thank you for the great walk around this area.
On our last day in Australia we finally found the cache . We nogana, langanfans, ursus and pidjas logged as SWEx4. Now back to Winter in Sweden.
A long an warm walk in the beautiful park.

Today we visited Melbourne.
Headed up to Melbourne for a day of caching with SimsFamily and Neville Devil, was planned to be an easy day for me but as always doesn’t go to plan. The journey up the highway was in torrential rain which eased once we were in Melbourne resulting in an Great day caching.
After wandering around this great location and gathering the required information and crossing swollen creeks we were able to locate the well hidden hide.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the Multi Cache ssmc4

I know Darebin Parklands well - they were for a long time a favourite place to walk the dog, although now he prefers shorter walks, and we’ve got a video of young Bruce falling off the log at the duck ponds that can always get a laugh. Despite that I’d never attempted this one until today, when I needed consolation for a fail at anatidaephobia. It worked. Thanks
A nice Sunday and a ride was originally planned but logisitics meant a walk was better suited. I planned on a few caches but in the end decided to focus on this multi. I had one answer that confused me but GZ was close and bingo. Nice hide. Fav given. Thanks to ssmc4 for placing this cache.
A nice walk through the park the actual was sort of easy just needed a little kick to retrieve
What a lovely walk around this beautiful area. A nice one for the geokids and geodog. We had lots of adventure along the way.
As for the cache, it had us scratching our heads a bit and after some completely unnecessary rock scrambling, we finally found it some distance away from out calculated coordinates, so perhaps we miscalculated something along the way. Very happy to put a smiley and a favourite on this one.

Not only do I have to contend with having buttons for eyes, apparently I am also unable to count numerals greater than 1. This is a fabulous Circuit walk in Darebin Parklands highly recommended.
I mucked up the coordinates a couple of days ago, and it was late in the day, so I decided to leave it for another time. Went back today and sorted out the mistake and went to claim the prize. It is not that easy to find, this one. Brilliant camo, I only found it by luck.
With the Planetary Pursuit starting recently, we planned to hit Darebin Parklands on Monday night after work with the kids and do the 3 earth caches, this multi and one trad and knock it right out of the solar system.
I thought though that we might be trying to do too much, especially with a 6.15pm start and it turned out that we had bitten off more than we could chew!
For starters the kids were enjoying exploring the park so much that at each way point we had to hurry them along as they kept finding things that interested them. Well there was a creek after all!
They wanted to stop and look at everything!
The kids loved it - especially all the kookaburras! - we must have arrived at the equivalent of their after work drinks.. boy were they noisy and everywhere near the first few waypoints!
We managed to get the 3 earthcaches done, and all the waypooints of this fantastic multi but by the time we had calculated the coords and got to the final location we had lost light! We tried to search under phone light but we just couldn't find it so we called it a night.
Mrs P, returned today to make the find and put the plowfive moniker in the log. The trad will have to wait for another day.
We all really enjoyed this multi. Despite living only less than 10mins away by car, we have never really explored these parklands in depth - even though we have been to at least three geocaching events here in the last year!
This multi really opened our eyes to what is here - and it is a lot more than we realized. We had to promise the kids that we would bring them here again.
Thanks ssmc4 for the multi. This one was a really good one and obviously a favourite from us five!

As I'd started off being 3 months behind in my logging I am desperately trying to catch up and am mass logging to do so.
I've just changed the above spiel as I received a very thoughtful and considerate note from an observant fellow geocacher
'You mathematics is appalling. Obvious repeated errors. Today is 28th March.
You completed a particular cache on 16th Feb. That is not 3 months behind but closer to half that.
If you don't lift your game you Will fail Mathematics this year and only pass English with your good essays. Lets fix this problem now before others notice.'
Hence the changes made to the spiel above and I could not resist putting in the extra information above as it made me laugh!
Today was 2017 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards day and after the ceremony, when the rain had stopped, I found 3 Earth Caches, 2 trads, I [^] great multi and had obviously attended the 1 event (albeit a tad later than most people ).
From what I heard the 2017 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards was a great event [^] despite the rain and it's interruptions
Sadly I was unale to make all of it but I did arrive in time to say 'hi' to everyone as they left
Interestingly some people seem to not have homes to go to and so there was a small group still chatting about 2 hours or more later, when kmace , surefoot24 and that evil one came back after a feed and that is when Nirgalagrin, surefoot24 and I walked right around the park to get the caches [^] See Archie B1, I am getting exercise [:X]
Really enjoyed this lengthy but cool multi and at least the length was walkable and in a lovely area [^]
The hide was clever too and hid from me until surefoot24 found it

With a last minute change of plans I was able to make my way to the Darebin Parklands for some caching. After some inspiration from the 2017 Cache of the Year awards event it was off to explore the surrounds.
With a combination of walking and cycling around the parklands I managed to gather enough information to locate GZ. A well hidden container at GZ that blends in well.
Thanks for the multi, ssmc4.

Today I made the journey here with the legendary Bushfire to attend the 2017 COTY awards. we arrived nice and early to discover there was another event on so parking was a nightmare. Lucky for us we managed to find one (not sure how the late comers will fair though). With plenty of time even though Bushfire had already done them we made our way to do a few of the caches in the park before the start of the event. we had time to make our way around the park and get details and manged to make some decent coordinate but stop at the event before trying to make the find. So after the event was finished we headed over to make the find. Quite a nice hide it is as well. Very well constructed.
Thank you ssmc4 for the hard work

I worked through the waypoints for this one back in April of last year. Having calculate da plausible but unlikely GZ I thought it sensible to run by numbers by a previous finder. They were kind enough to point out a couple of mistakes that I had made and this allowed me to revise my numbers for the final assault. I hadn't been back this way since and so when heading to the caching awards in the nearby parklands today I was able to head to this one and take a look. Took me a little while before I spotted the nicely camouflaged cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the multi cache ssmc4. This one earns a favourite point from me.
Took lots of walking and a couple of visits here to find the cache. Sure it was missing last time I tried for it. A lovely parklands and a clever hide and clue.
Met chooknchunk and becNmonts along the way. They were busy collecting other information at that stage.
Now I am all spiritually healed and will bring my son and daughter in law over here as they live quite close by.
Thanks for the fun ssmc4

Off to the Victorian Cache Awards today with 6hinemoa2. After getting the required numbers it was off to retrieve and log the cache before the showers set in. Thanks for the cache ssmc4
Chook and myself started this multi off before today’s event, and I finished it afterwards. I went looking for Chook, but alas, I could not find her. Fantastic hide, a favourite from me. TFTC ssmc4
I love a good Multi and this certainly fits that bill. Favourite point will be awarded for this cache. I really enjoyed the walk through the park to these special places, learning about the culture of our original, was delighted with the regeneration going on and the special geological features we saw. The other Earthcaches and traditional caches just added to my appreciation of this wonderful place. TFTC.
I enjoyed my time in this lovely area walking to the various waypoints which gave me an excellent overview of the park. A well constructed multi that even had a useful seat to use while I made my final calculations TFTC
This was a nice solid walky kind of multi. I approve. I've actually been to the first waypoint before but immediately reckoned that I didn't have sufficient time to get it done. Most of the park seems quite familiar though. I seem to have been through a few times over the past 18 months, so I could very easily have completed it in installments if I was capable of planning stuff. Today the required information was retrieved without problems, though I skipped *Ready to Go* as some people were gathered there and I'm scared of people. The resulting coordinates seemed to be more or less on the mark regardless, as I found a cache there. Not instantly by any means. The container was less than conspicuous. Nicely done. Though I was mildly dismayed that the recent promise of ant activity went unfulfilled. The logbook was on the full side so I added my name to a new zip-locked logsheet. (Which should accommodate dozens of further signatures, if it comes to that.) Thanks ssmc4!
Woooooohoooooo!
I am so glad we finally got to this cache! After looking a few times and feeling that the park was generally too muggly, or coming when NO ONE in my family would indulge me in a little search, I was glad to finally get to all the waypoints and get the coordinates to the end. I had done this in a completely roundabout and non sequential way and happily chanced upon finishing it within a relatively short distance from the final. I went to the GZ and looked around till I saw the thing which was the right thing to see... looked at it a little closer and alas the whole thing was an ants nest. Not a lot of ants around it, an actual nest, with ants carrying their little egg ant babies around and being very mightily peeved that I was rude enough to have disturbed the structure. It's a good job ants haven't discovered the secrets to construction of weapons as I'm sure they were considering starting an anty war with me, and probably all my kin. I think they settled upon cursing me with little anty curses - like "may your workers fall out of pace in their marching lines"; "may you come across an echidna"; or "may you only be able to a piffling 10x your own body weight"... got you there, ants, I could probably only lift half my body weight- hah!!
Anyway using a method of rapid, darting attempts to open the container, I got it open, then I dropped the lid a few times to shake the ants off before I repeated the process in reverse to seal it back up, then I put it all back the way it was. I guess it's up to next finder to bring gloves or something. Or suffer the many evil curses of all the ants.

Here to try and distract a child with a (maybe but maybe not) sore appendix, from herpain. I decided that as this walk was all about helping her feel a bit better, I'd only attempt to record a couple of WP if I happened to go right past them, and let her go to the places she wanted to visit. So she wanted to look at ducks, the giant egg thing, and just check to see if there were any platypus in the creek, before we headed home. I think I got data for 3 Wp from that. I am hoping that cachly saves the private note things, and this is a good test. Will be back again to get the rest of the data and hopefully sign the log.
First time in the Parklands here, and this was a good tour (though I did leave the trail to collect other geocaches on the way...)
Info easily collected at each point, calculated final GZ without final three waypoints, but then went to them anyway for completeness/views/etc.
Took a couple of minutes to find the actual cache, nice container here...
Enjoyed my walk around this area, thanks for the cache.

Find #2943. Found @ 16:10 with skirrel, j-bean and The Good Lady Wife.
After the VCOTY 2016 awards event, the family and I strolled around the parklands on this multi adventure.
Along the way we saw lots of geo-woofers frolicking in the water and grounds, a pair of foot dangling damsels (not in distress) at the creek crossing, and lots and lots of ducks.
A nice multi that showed of the variety of regions of the Darebin Parklands.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache ssmc4.

When you go caching with the suscoe cachers you have to be up early and organised because they are always early. Ross is the master of planning and not only has the order of cachers but a map of where we are going and has remembered how to get there as well.
The day dawned, quick breakfast, read the headlines over a quick coffee, pack lunch and of course the Thermos and another small one for the milk. Got to have the milk.
As the day wore on it got quiet warm in the sunshine but we had to attend 2016 Victorian Cache of the Years awards later but a few caches first that were on our must do list.
With the awards over and there being a few caches nearby the ageing Bushfire had to have a look and after a lot of data gathering this guy ended up being a smiley face.
Thanks ssmc4 for showing us this area.

We journeyed down to the Victorian Caching Awards and managed to get a couple of caches as well.
We wandered about after the event and then found this very neat hide - Mr Morris walked straight passed it without realizing.

Perfect Melbourne weather today for the Victorian Caching Awards. After the Event we teamed up with Suscoe, Bushfire & Cybergran V to explore the Darebin Parkland. While we had completed this one almost 12 months ago, it was no less impressive to follow the Spiritual Healing Trail today.
Interesting to note this cache is almost up to it's 10th anniversary and still gong strong!
Our thanks to ssmc4 for bringing us to this location.

Suscoe headed to Melbourne today for the Victorian Caching Awards event in the very good company of Bushfire.
We met up with Phetlern plus 1 as well and so our band of 6 wandered the streets and parklands of the inner east on a beautiful day.
Sunshine, clouds, some light drizzle for a moment or two, a cool breeze, more sunshine, great locations and lots of fun with our friends, what more could a caching team ask for.
What a brilliant parkland area this is.
We enjoyed wandering the tracks and seeing so much of the area.
So many people using this bit of nature in the city.
Well done to ssmc4 for a well thought out multi.

What a delightful park, it has so many interesting features, as is evidenced by the three earth caches here, plus the amount of history and fun facts found in the process of procuring the necessary coordinates for the final cache.
The last time I was in this park was for our daughter's engagement party in 2000. I had no idea how much of interest there was to find here.
And now it is a geocaching haven, as well as a Pokemon park, lots of reasons to bring a family here to visit.
Thanks ssmc4 for this multicache to add to it's attractions.

Arrived at the park on our bikes and proceeded to travel around this great trail in the city. At times its almost possible to believe your in the country. Once all the clues were gathered with only a couple of the usual UTurned gangs classic U-turns we set about searching for the cache. The younger UTurned soon uncovered the log and we were on our way. Thanks for introducing us to this walk. Tftc
Had a couple of goes at this one some time ago. This time found straight away . One of those caches you wonder how you missed it the other times . Glad to finally tick it off
I didn't want to appear freaky or weird di ing the park's "bush kinder" session so I could only leave this for another time. One day!
Back here again after our dog recovered from her last visit. Many thanks to leafotwind for signing our name. Love the structure at GZ, and the great walk around the parklands. Thanks ssmc4.
After yesterday's adventure to Walhalla and a 4wd track from hell I thought I might have a quieter time of it today whilst maintaining my streak, working on some challenges and visiting parkland which I would never have reason too but for caching.
As I approached WP1 I spied the familiar form of one half of (._0) who invited me to join them which I did. All went fairly swimmingly until her dog did herself some damage and injured her rear left leg. At this point (._0) had to go and I carried on without them whilst promising to put their name in the log given that we had done 3 of the 8 WPs.
Much more walking and doubling back ensued since Possibilities were unfortunately unavailable. Eventually success was had after a couple of detours to gather information for the earthcaches around the parkland.
Thanks for the exercise ssmc4 and a great hide.

I followed the Spiritual Healing Trail a couple of weeks ago, but ran out of time before I could get to GZ. My calculation of the co-ords were spot on and I went straight to the cache. The camouflage is clever and well constructed, but for me stood out from the crowd.
Thank you for an enjoyable trip along this interesting trail.

Thursday 23 June 2016 - a blowy overcast winter's morning with the sun peaking through the clouds. In temperatures around 10 degrees C we left, rugged up, from muggle sister's place in Ivanhoe(Green St) with muggle niece Rachel to walk 5.5km, in approx 2hrs visiting the 9 waypoint to find this one fabulous camoed cache. Worth a favourite point for taking us along the Spiritual Trail that I would otherwise never walked and seen wonderfull flora, great geological structures and water scenery. Cache found by muggle sister. TFTC.
A beautiful but cold public holiday morning, it was a lovely crisp walk around the park.
I have been here a few times now with caching events and other caches which have come and gone in this park.
But this is the first time I seriously walked right around it, with a couple of leaps of faith.
I was multi tasking with two GPS, doing the earth caches too as I was walking around.
When I got to the final, this is when the majority of muggles came out to play,
Thanks ssmc4 [:x]

We started at WP6, as it just happened we were coming up that way. It seemed like an ok way and we zig-zagged around the park as we moved back up to WP1 hoping that the final location wasn't from where we started. We are glad for a few hints especially for the pool that had us thinking...well how many????
Overall, get multi to get us around a never before visited spot. Lots of people either walking dogs or jogging. We cannot imagine how busy it would be on a weekend. TFTC.
Found by Team Justice #1000 << Yay! 1000!!!!!

Great multi, and awesome cache container. Worth a favourite. Left a TB for the next finder. Thanks for bringing us back here.
It was this cache that lured me to the Darebin Parklands, and I'm very grateful for it - what absolutely astoundingly gorgeous parklands! Every time I came across a map with a 'you are here' mark I was completely confused and disoriented - how could I have come from this direction and ended up here? How could the parking lot possibly be over *there*?
The Trail was gorgeous, the multicache put together smoothly, and I never would have found the cache at GZ if I hadn't prodded something suspicious-looking with one foot out of sheer curiousity. Thanks for the cache!

That was fantastic. After miscounting the number of leaves at WP1, I ended up rather off track but realized pretty soon that I must have stuffed up. Went back and recounted and that put me right back in the right place. Great camo! TNLN, TFTC!
We had a good time doing this one. Ran around with my geokid yesterday working out the coordinates, had to return today to search for the final cache. Pretty pleased we got this one (after checking the clue)! thanks for the cache.
Was in the park today attending the annual Victorian Geocaching Awards event and I was excited to find this cache after logging a DNF back in August last year. I sat down with a previous cacher to compare calculations and realized where I had gone wrong... it is amazing what one simple miscount can do. Armed with new coordinates, I walked to GZ after the event and spent a few moments looking around using the hint as a guide. It took a bit but finally the "Ahhh..." moment came and I found the cache. LOVE IT! Congratulations ssmc4 on a great multi. One that took me six months to find but worth it. Favourite point from me.
This multi was one of our caching highlights today: Following the Victorian Cache Awards Event in this park, we set out to find a few local caches. We were told that this one is a bit longer than some, but that did not stop us from going for it! We love walking and exploring new areas, and this cache has lots to offer. We had not realised how beautiful and craggy the Darebin creek and the surrounding parklands are - in the midst of the built-up city. Despite many muggles on the track, mostly dog-walkers, we thoroughly enjoyed our walk and the vistas it offered.
At one stage, near the bridge WP, the vulture was asked: "Where is your dog?" "We don't have one." [incredulous looks, shaking heads] "Hmm, do we HAVE to have a dog to walk along here?" "Well you do have a leash hanging out of your back pocket." "Oh, that is a lanyard. It is attached to this little device I have." The speechless resignation at our blatant "lie" suggested that they had never seen a GPSr in a pocket ...
We are leaving a FP here for showing us such an unexpected, amazing part of Melbourne!

Found with becc85 at the Victorian cache awards , nice add on for us and a quick find at the end. Signed log and replaced . probably could do with a new log book esp. after this event.
While I am at 2015 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards, with whitepaws9 doing with Multi. we enjoyed with it and loves your cache.
Thanks ssmc4
Thanks ssmc4
While visiting this area today for the first time to attend the nearby event, we made sure we completed the caches in the park. Wandering around with Wozzle68, Shamus1 and maccamob we slowly worked our way through the wpts and found the treasure at the end.

Roadtripping to the 2016 Victorian Cache Awards with jtnsilo, we nabbed this one after the wonderful event. Lots of people wandering around the park today!
We made a quick find at GZ, a great Muggle-proof out in the open hide. Very well done camo.
TFTC!

I thought that I would tackle this after the Annual Victorian Awards in the park. From WP1 onwards this was a magnificent journey. I read every plaque and took the time to just stand and think for a little while. At the Pond I met a young lady with her two dogs and sat talking to her as the dogs plunged into the water and swam and swam and swam. The rest of the trail was as thought provoking and I finally came upon the final feeling better for having done the trail. I will return and do it again. TFTC SSMC4. A favourite in spades.
What a great multi, picked this one up with macamob, the Tritonz and Shamus1 while in the area attending the caching awards event thanks for the cache ssmc4
*27/02/2016, Found @ 4:02 PM, Find # 5120.*
I arrived at the event a bit earlier so I could tackle this one so I headed out and rode around the circuit stopping at all the waypoints to gather the required information.
It was certainly a great tour and once I had my final coordinates I headed back to the event before finishing this one off.
After the event I the headed off to GZ to complete this one, once at GZ It didn't take long to find the nicely camouflaged hide.
**Thanks to *ssmc4* for placing this cache.**

Darebin Parklands was the centre point of our pocket query today, being the location for the 2015 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards Event. Following the Spiritual Healing Trail was the perfect way to explore the park and learn more about the customs of Australia's indigenous people. This well planned and carefully developed cache certainly earns a favourite point today.
Our thanks to ssmc4 for bringing us to this location.

While in the area today for the geocaching awards event, we arrived early to offer our help but with everything in order, the geo kiddies and i decided to do some caches instead. We had seen this one on previous visits to the awards but wasn't really all that keen on doing a 9 stage multi for a 2.5 rating. Today was a different day. The weather was kind to us and with the final information obtained, we were able to collect this hide. A nice camo too. Stamped and returned as found.
### *Thanks for this multi cache, ssmc4*. [^] Log and container in good condition.Took Nothing, Left Nothing ###

Down from Ballarat for the caching awards event with wozzle68 and we meet with the tritons from Geelong and has grate camo
I think that was one of the coolest geocaches I've gone out to find. Both the trail and the final destination. Did not bring a pen but thanks for the adventure
I generally avoid 9 step multis but today I had spare time and an staying nearby so wandered around in pleasant conditions to collect the information. Highlights were a dog swimming at WP3 and ducks with duckling at 2 other stops. All worked out well and I was able to log the clever hide. Thanks for the cache.
Took us longer than we thought but we feel spiritually healed! Enjoyed crossing the creek. Thanks!!
Today was a grey and drizzly day so I thought that I would nip out and grab a few caches confident that there would be minimal muggle activity.
What a wonderful cache. It is well planned and really does show you the highlights of the park. I thoroughly enjoyed every WP, unfortunately the creek was covering the stone(s) at WP6 so I missed out on the creek crossing and had to walk the long way round to WP7. A quick find in the end. I replaced the ziplock bag as the old had perished. TFTC.

Today was a rather overcast and drizzly weather but I was on the hunt for multis to qualify for a challenge. I saw this cache and after reading it, thought it would be a wonderful cache to get some exercise and find a popular multi.
Unfortunately I was unable to complete this as I messed up counting at some point. I visited each WP and enjoyed the walk through this park. The creek was high and covered the stones at WP6 so had to go back and cross. Once I reached the final WP, I sat down and tried to plug the numbers in but the result had me on private land adjacent to the creek. As I rechecked and put in a few coordinate variables, I couldn't quite get it right. Retraced my steps to check a few WP but alas. Ended up messaging CO for some help and left disappointed.
Will return to try again. TFTH

This was a marvellous way to explore the parkland here, and being a beautifully sunny day after the cool weather we have been having, I can't imagine a better day to have chosen. Making my way around, visiting a spot that was familiar, but exploring plenty that I had never been to before, I soon had my clues gathered. Arriving at my calculated GZ I was pleased when I was able to spot this most well constructed container. I signed the inside rear cover of the logbook and also the replacement sheet that has been left in the container.
Thanks to ssmc4 for showing this wonderful area and for the cache.

Wow, thank you so much for bringing us back to this great park! Used to walk our muttlies here many, many moons ago and it was a great excuse to return, geomutt was pretty keen too!! A fabulous multi and a great hide on a cold but sunny day - couldn't ask for better, a fave for sure
A nice morning walk with Harristide, Valérie and Moussaillon
Thanks for the cache! (and apologies for the late log)

Really great multi and really great hide! It was a great day out for it, the park was beautiful, a lovely escape from the cold winter. We initially misread the a+b as gumnuts and had our coords a bit out, but we corrected it in the end. We also overlooked the cache initially at GZ, but after a quick sandwich break it came to our attention straight away! TFTC
A beautiful sunny winter day for this multi it was Took us a while to locate GZ, but were pretty impressed with the spot when we did! Yay!
I had three hours to fill in while my son was at brass band practice in Preston this morning so I thought that I could easily complete this multi while he was busy. It took me two hours to make my way around the Spiritual Healing Trail. This was a mammoth journey for me. I did lots of wandering (along wrong but interesting paths) and wondering (where I was) but knew that I could not get really lost. I also watched dogs enjoying swimming in the pools and I chattered to the locals about their lovely parklands. After collecting all the clues I was very relieved to see that my GPS was pointing back to near where my car was parked. The cache at GZ was a very welcome find and what a great collection of items were found within it. Thank you ssmc4 for bringing me here and I will bring my family back to experience this lovely park.
Sitting around at home tonight not doing much we decided on a little adventure so a walk around this park fitted nicely. Arriving at 9:30, we parked at the end of separation street and walked up to the first waypoint . The clouds reflected a lot of city light and also made the night not cold at all, we enjoyed all the waypoints even doing the river crossing at night. Sitting down at the final waypoint we saw some Quacks whilst calculating GZ. Arriving not long after 10:30 at GZ a little scrambling was done until we realized that there was no scrambling required as cache was found in a flatter area. No trackable in cache, hope it reappears somewhere, thanks for the walk , the fun and the cache
