Overnight stay at the Old School Grounds and battled the flies to do some caching. All good here Tftc
Thank goodness for this strange hobby of ours, I would never of seen any of this without the plethora of green dots on the map
Found it!Such an interesting location. So many signs and relics with history of this area. Thank goodness for some of the clues! Found a really interesting bug guarding the cache too. TFTC
TFTC Chipalee your cache Good Ol' School Days that we found today. We arrived at Clements Gap Conservation Reserve just before lunch. We set up camp at the Old School. After a coffee we headed out with the international of completing TheKellyGangs Gnome series and the other caches in the Reserve. We had a great afternoon. The Gnome series deserve all the favourites they have and more. A well thought out and at time frustrating series to solve and find. Close to where we are camped.Find Count: 17705
Over at Port Pirie for our Anniversary Australia Day long weekend. Today we headed to Clement's Gap to tackle the very favourited Gnome series by The Kelly Gang. A qiuick find here. TFTC
Looks ,ike a lot of fun was had here. Replaced water damaged log book, bag and tin.
Found it! TFTC! Would be a nice place if it werent for all the flies - my dad
Kids searched in the morning after camping here overnight. Still a bit tyre-d and took a while to find it.
Finally found after reading comments with Sarge5556. Thought too much about it and searched the shelter shed. Thought it was a play on Words. Tftc

Found it today after first looking 6 months ago. Thanks to previous logs also helped quickly. Tftc
Tftf. Found but no swaps. Was a bit of fun anyway. Beware of camping muggles.
Muggle hubby sitting in car with ac on as quite a warm day. I was running around like a mad woman (as I am, many may say). Checked previous logs & the photo was very helpful. I never Tyre of caching. Tftc
Finally found a previous logs have mentioned about 10m from GZ. Spent some time under the actual shelter shed before finding the sign I needed. The wheels turned slowly today. TFTC
After wandering around W.A. for the last 3 months, caravanning, caching and hunting wildflowers we are slowly making our way home to Adelaide via Pt Pirie and Wallaroo. Stopped and had lunch here. T.F.T.C.
Today I headed out with CourtneyRose and Gridge98 for a mystery tour to Port Pirie and back. We travelled many kms and found lots of super caches. The gnomes at Clements Gap were particularly good.
Quick bakery lunch in Port Pirie and then back via random country towns and back roads to Adelaide.
An enjoyable day with around 45 finds for the day and the World out to rights.
Courtneyrose made a quick find here TFTC

Today I went with Michells&Hound and Gridge98 on a roadtrip up to Port Pirie. A great way to spend a Sunday. A stop off at the bakery as I was getting hangry! TFTC.
Quick stamp and off after fixing 2 tyres on the caravan. staked them coming into the campground
Snowtown camping at the sports ground.
Bill was in need of a sea change so we planned a trip to Port Broughton, having a fish & chip lunch while there.
We cached on the way up with a detour by Clements Gap Conservation Park
We found some interesting locations & some wonderful hides.
Thanks for placing the cache.
A no luck for me. A big day in the area and sadly couldn’t give this spot anymore time other than a quick look around.
Thank you for placing it for us to find. Thank you for contributing to the geo map and maintaining when required. TFTC

DNF, a quick stop but no luck, got right on top of it, someone must have moved it or we just didn’t look hard enough maybe do a check up to see if it’s still there
Out with iluvtrekking heading to Port Broughton and surrounds, picking up caches along the route. Thanks chipalee
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. We are enjoying our time travelling in the YP. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on a geo-guided tour.
Found on 3rd look today!! Just should have looked harder on the first attempt!! TFTC
Thanks for the tips to broaden our search and for the description of where it is . Cheers and tftc
Yay time a Wednesday wander., for the befuddled Puzzlers. The group consisted of the Rat,a starfish, the Starman and the Adder.
We started from the Rat's den, then Two Wells, Avon then over to the top of the Yorkes and further north.
Our plan was to find Puzzles, multi's, trads and any DNFs.
Nice to get a DNF off the list.
Back here today with 2 previous finders.
A quick find at GZ, for the Befuddled Puzzlers.
We stamped the logbook, replaced the cache where we found it.TFTC

The usual Wednesday Wander for members of Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group had us heading back once again to the upper Yorke Peninsular in search of solved puzzles and anything else we came across. Today it was myself, Blackadders and Astro meeting S.A. Sewer rats at the Rat's
nest By the end of the day we had traveled over 500 km's in search of pieces of Tupperware in the woods.
I had been here a few short weeks ago and got a DNF. It had been a long day and we were looking at sunset and not seeing. So back we came for another look with a bit more day light. Still couldn't see it but it was felt out in the most likely spot which was not where my GPS wanted me to be. This will continue to get occasional DNF's util the co-ords are updated or a hint given as to the obvious spot to search.
***Thanks Chipalee for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Not at listed co-ords as previously mentioned. But there was an obvious hide and it didn't take long after that. TFTC
Decided to head down the Yorke Peninsula as we hadn't been here before.
Stopped here for some lunch, a very quirky spot.
Struggled to find cache until we broadened our search.

Very easy this time - it wasn't in this spot on my first try! Also put back the log so it was easy to get out - took 5minutes of fiddling .......tftc
Kept looking in the wrong places
Will definitely come back again one day.

A country drive with the muggle other half to collect a few in the mid north that the Adders missed out on when he could not join the weekly Wednesday wander.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
What a great fun location for a hide. After reading the signs and a number of pictures taken it was off to find the hide. As previous logs had mentioned, the GZ was around 10 meters off but a likely structure looked possible and sure enough the prize was located, signed and replaced.
Thank you for bringing us here
Thank you for the cache Chipalee, found 22/04/2022, 4:13:52 PM

Had gps at 3m several times, searched 20m diameter but nothing. There were a lot of people here yesterday when I first came to look? Any clue to help ......
Arrived just on sunset so set about the search in torchlight which was an advantage as it penetrated the bushes and should have shown up the cache easier. Nope. The search widened and widened and despite the presence of a previous finder we just couldn't find the cache. Needs a CO check me thinks.
**Thanks Chipalee for the search anyway. **

Found container laying on the ground. Put it back in a less exposed spot but not sure where it’s really meant to be. CO please check.
Sebastbat took Jack and myself for a long drive... and we ended up at your cache
Quite surprised at how busy the major roads were, so got off the beaten track whenever we could
Seems the further north we went the more we wanted to go north, but all good things must come to an end sadly, so eventually we went home again! But we might just do it all again tomorrow
Quickly located and signed. Enjoyed the history lessons while at the old school site
Thanks for putting it out here Chipalee

Wherever we go caches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
Now our borders are open - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

Found on a trip to Crystal Brook and Port Pirie with Team Waldron for a few days. Thanks for the cache Chipalee!
Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. Spending 2 weeks in Port Pirie, today we headed further afield and enjoyed the drive amongst all the green crops. Looks like a good harvest up here. [^]
What a great spot to bring us too. Some killer mosquitoes around today though.

gridge98 suggested a day out North caching I wasn't going to say no, now, was I[?]
A long hot day followed and by day's end, with 39 caches found and 3 DNFs too, I was really disappointed that the longed for fish and chips tea at Port Pirie didn't eventuate because the Used2B church that is now a fish and chip shop[:X] was closed for their annual leave
Had a great day and I even got to meet BBB at his letterbox cache
Thanks to all the CO's for the dirt roads, scenic views[:X][^] and historical sites that were enjoyed[^][^]

A short detour into this one, interesting bits of art here. Cache found easily and is all good
Today I headed out with Locus Cache from lochiel towards port Pirie finding cache on each side of the highway and the back roads and clearing the area as we went. Although the weather was rather warm total of 39 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

First find with The X-Trailers as we travelled nth from MoontaCache ok. An interesting spot full of history. TFTC A fav point
Grabbed this one while staying a couple of days at a farm nearby. Was tempted to get the other 2 nearby but it was snake weather and they looked like they were in the bushes. TNLN. Cheers.
An old Gentleman Cache, i love these [^]
This area is so cool. I loved all the history and reading the sayings and jokes too

Found today. Great spot. Be careful a few needles are about the place. Left one of my path tags.
Cool little spot to explore, check out the old Methodist church across the road as well. Lots of history not only about the school but the American Army base. RV friendly for those looking to free camp.
Today we went further west. We were able to search for and find one or the other geocache again. The highlight was GC178, a geocache that is still needed for the Jasmer Challange. But ALSO GC997 was searched and found. Thank you to the owners for laying and maintaining the cans.
TFTC A quick search then found the cache, signed & dated the log then returned the cache back to where we found it. Thanks for bringing us here to this lovely, interesting place.
Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Today we are heading the massive distance from Crystal Brook to Port Broughton. It is raining - again, so we did not stop off too often, but there was an opportunity for coffee and cache.
What a lot of fun, reading all the signs. Here for coffee and cache, then a walk in the forest. Thanks Chipalee

I was travelling from Port Augusta to Ardrossan. With so many caches in between, I decided to leave the choice to the people. Almost all the caches had a reasonable number of favourites, with just a couple of extras in between. This was an interesting area, with a nice quick find.
My thanks to Chipalee for the cache.

Found again, but it took a while. The place is a lot different to last time, almost gave up blaming bad gps signal at the time, but after exploring a little further we did locate it with JandI18.
