Even though we had no coverage on our phones, we just kept walking around watching the green dot on our maps, looking in perfect hiding holes, walking in circles until I made the find. The second cache thats on my list to find today and we found it . This means I have met the criteria for another challenge I can now log We came, we found, we had an absolute blast caching at the end of the world today.TFTC Freddo the FrogKeep smiling
#5242 Well who knew the worlds end is where all the 4wders gathered to ruin what was a nicely tree lined high cliffed creek. Some of thes 4wd and flat earth folk probably have something in common. Ok lets not go there. Cache find took a little longer to flush out than it should have. Thanks again Freddo.
What a cool spot, in the process of being absolutely ruined by people and their vehicles. I'm sure many will disagree with me! This was the last find for the area, as I lost all phone reception and hadn't downloaded anything to view offline. Whoops! Will have to come back for another visit...TFTC Freddo
going up the hill nearly killed me, good thing my bf helped me not get blown away
There are some seriously serious 4wd tracks along the creek here today and although I drive some to get to GZ, I had to walk some of it in the end, cache is all good here
Today after my own two events in the city I decided to head away for a night of camping, caching along the way mainly focusing on caches yet to be found around the Goyder LGA, by the days end I found myself camped up in Caroona Creek Comservation Park. A great day out enjoying the SA country side and found around 60 caches
Thanks for the cache

Good to find one that hasn’t had love for over a year, all good here, thanks Freddo the Frog for this cache
Today we enjoyed caching along the Worlds End Highway through Robertstown and into the Worlds End Gorge. After completing those caches we then continued to Burra to do the Lab cache and a couple of multis that have been published since we were there last.
We enjoyed driving some of the backtracks around here
Many thanks for the hide Freddo

It was school holidays and I needed a break from school and chores and needed to just have some fun. I talked sir_spectre into joining me for a weekend away caching near Clare and Burra. We avoided the big towns and focused on the caches we normally drive past on the way to somewhere else. Any caches that needed some attention got it.
Thanks to Freddo from mogni

quick find. Mogni's car wasn't going to drive to this one so we walked to it.
found with Mogni. Headed out in the general direction of clare and planned to clean out clare before the June Long Weekend End Event in 2022. As usual there was ALOT of caches found before then and only a couple of caches where found in clare before staying in Farrel Flat for the night. The next day was cleaning out Burra and slowly making our way home. Damn doing multi's takes so long, since the final has a habit of not being in the direction you are planning to go next. All caches that where found that were brittle or damaged were replaced and logs found wet where replaced, except for nano's. Nano's are evil spawn and you can do your own maintanence on them.

Day 2 of heading to Langhorne Creek. Aiming for a reasonable tally of caches before reaching JLWE GZ tonight. So a quick stop here, didn’t quite want to drive to GZ with the camper on, but a short brisk walk meant the cache was soon in hand. Had to stand and admire the beautiful big gums before back to the car and back to the hunt. TFTC!

Out & about with geo hubby Animal62 & BulletMuffin91 grabbing a few more smiley faces for our maps.
Thanks for bringing us to this location, there’s some great 4x4 tracks here, that’s for sure.

Camping at Worlds End Creek for a bit of R'n'R and out and about to find a few caches! Interesting spot, will have to come back when we have more time and do a bit of 4WDing! TFTC
A pleasant afternoons drive after work had us in and around the gorge enjoying the magnificent gums and birdlife after the recent rains, cache was a quick find in what looks like a 4wd haven

Found after spending the LWE camping nearby with Kapybeara and two friends. Certainly looks like a nice camping spot and place which a number of people have come and tested their 4x4s. TFTC
My partner and I found this geocache by accident yesterday 25/08/19. I’ve never heard of this thing before. We stopped by to take a photo and he just happened to see it and told me it’s a Geocache. Good thing we’ve got a pen in the van and wrote a message. ️
thanks for the chance to go $ Wheel Driving the kids loved it especially when we were going sideways

Our GPS took us to a spot from where we had to walk. Parked the van and headed off only to come to a cliff that was straight down. The only options here were to jump and break every bone in our bodies or go back to the van and get a rope and abseil down the cliff.
Neither of those options sounded promising so we drove back out again and found a parking area. Now if we had been in a 4WD and not a campervan we could have driven quite lose to GZ, but we weren't so off we set on foot. A longer walk than our initial route but a much safer one.
A pleasant walk through the spectacular gum trees soon had us at GZ where the cache was quickly found.
I'm sure this beautiful place would be where the 4 WD'ers would want to come if the end of the world was nigh.
I wouldn't mind it either. Bring an esky of rum and cokes, and a bag full of all those things you feel guilty about eating, like Samboy BBQ chips and lollies and wait for it to happen!!!
Thanks, a favourite point for a great location.

Making my annual pilgimage to Darwin for the Supercars, this time via Burra and the Oodnadatta Track. TFTC.
Didn’t see where the top track started when we drove in so parked and walked the 300metres to the cache.

Out for some caches with Purrfect Di and Jack.
Nice place for a drive and a stroll.
We thought we could see Burra, but the hills got in the way again
Thanks for putting this one out there Freddo

A caching trip up North with CPwanderer & Gizmos Gang today...perfect weather for it...
It was fun driving the back blocks around the area...which is where we came from...none of this straight of the bitumen stuff ...we had just seen some amazing views from the top of the range...the world is alive and beautiful in our back yard...
I ran across the creek, which was dry & quicky located the cache...
Thanks Freddo

Found on a great day out caching with CPwanderer and hevwalker. The weather was perfect and the company even better.
Saw evidence of wombats digging nearby as we drove in to this cache. The creek is dry but you could imagine that in winter it would be very green around here.

Parked the car not far from the nearby cache then walked along the creek bed and up. Easy find once there.
World's end. That sounds like a good campsite. On our afternoon walk we also visited this cache and rescued it before becoming the new breeding site for ants.
Thanks for the cache

We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the Land Down Under" ...
Drove as close as we could with our campervan then walked the last 150m. Took a while to locate the cache but finally there it was.
Thanks for the fun Freddo!

A drive around today with TheKellyGang and Laighside Legends east find today a few friendly cobwebs a spider or too. TFTC
With a Drive today with Squash99 and Laighside Legends listening to Laighside drive here through the creek oh yeah! Along the track in the Creek along we go Opps! lets back up not going any further down the creek that way reverse up, spin a wheel but then carefully back we go up along another track oh! leaning sideway not a Good feeling but now we find our way through a better section of the creek, arrive at location then easy find with camper nearby. Like normal we always seem to find the hard way in, on the way out of the site, we found a better track, narrow but not as rough as on the way in. TFTC
Arrived at GZ and watched a couple 4wds try and get out of the creek for a while.
Easy find, took geocoin.
Great spot for a hide, never been here before.

Okay. This place is on higher ground and a much more appropriate hide for my pestering travel bugs. Farewell my lovelies. Hopefully I will stop getting reminder emails in polite German-English. With my apologies for the delay.

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
After camping last night in Burra Creek Gorge we were supposed to stay another few nights and tour into Burra but somehow the plans changed and whilst Mr Felix went off on a lengthy walk to find a cache Mrs Felix packed the caravan to move to town!
We didnt quite drive to GZ, got within 100metres or so when Mr Felix jumped out to walk the last bit.

Well it is about time
There has been way to much talk about it and not enough action, IMHO
To make sure I am in the grandstand seat for such a momentous event, I have camped the night nearby the cache
Well it has gone dark !!
The ISS flew over precisely as predicted at 6:51 pm ...
Mars, Saturn and Jupiter visible in their correct locations and ... yes !! Planets do twinkle, just like stars
So no gravitational or atmospheric anomalies yet
Time for a last supper
Curried sausages tonight !!
That should hurry things up a bit in the morning
Meanwhile, I took a stroll to GZ and found the cache.
Good Nigh !!
Sleep Tight,
Don't let the travel bugs bite !!
Hoot !! Hoot !!
See you in the morning

Found on the way home after attending the Oz Mega Event in Murray Bridge. South Australia. Decided o head home through Broken Hill for some sightseeing and caching. Great cache. TFTC
Got to gz as a driveby, and my Bestie almost parked on top of it...
This would be a great spot in the wet!
So what's a caching run without a Freddo cache? Boring, that's what!
Had to go to the end of the world to get a Freddo smiley today though.
Watch dem ants near gz!

Thanks and another tick in the Freddo Matrix...

Didn't find it in the first place I looked (as it was on the other side of the creek) but quick find in the end. Thanks Freddo.
Sorry Freddo for the generic log but I'm trying to catch up on my logging, I currently have over 1000 to log before hitting some powertrails in the US after the block party next week. As always I enjoy the hunt whether I'm solo or with some of my caching or muggle friends. Thanks to those who have accompanied me to make the day more pleasurable and many thanks Freddo for placing this cache.
Plenty of clearance on the 2wd Triton driven by a maniac to get to the cache. Thank you for the hide and the cache Freddo, if I was by myself I would have driven over the edge of one of those slopes, but the wife threatened me, end of story.

The Trio stopped here at the creek to have a quick caching break while on the way back to Adelaide from Burra. There was no way the 2WD Tardis-mobile would make it here, so Mr Tardis went for a quick 300 metre jog to GZ.
A beautiful camping place with some nice bird life and I'm sure other marsupials at the right time of day. Apparently the world hasn't ended yet, or so I'm told. However there are more nano factories and more nano hides than ever before, so the reckoning can't be too far away.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Freddo the Frog.

OOPS.
I found these caches in the GPS from a past camping trip.
We obviously never logged them.
Sorry!

We were about to park and hop out for this one but noticed some tracks heading in the general direction. Haven't used the 4WD for a bit so we drove right up to it.

This was the first cache in a weekend of trying to boost numbers. We camped at Redbanks overnight and this was a quick find along the way, although we disturbed a heap of 4WDs that were out for a day of fun. TFTC
