Removing this one and intend to relist it as a traditional. Who wants to do Mysteries this far out in the sticks?

Out for a drive with my hubby and even though it was a very cold and wintery day, we took the opportunity to take to some of the back roads and grab a few stay finds, along the way.

Had this solved for some time, so this was the time to turn it into a smiley. Like the previous finder, there was alot of unloved to grab with this one, so much so, I had to really do some digging to come up with the container as it had been well covered with debris. The container was well sealed and log all dry to sign and return.

Thanks howjen567 for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

I was headed out to the bush today and saw this puzzle on the way. I put it under my wife's nose as she's the math teacher in the house and in no time at all the GZ was given to me.
Very happy to give this cache some much needed love. All is in good condition.
I checked the log book thoroughly as the last log was from 2014, I couldn't see any trace of the group that logged it in 2015. So I'm giving this one even more love than I originally had thought!

At the last moment, I received time off of work in order to head over to do the High Voltage 101 power trail and spend time 4WDing in the amazing and wonderful Victorian high country Cool
GPS, thewhitedoggang and Princess Consuela were my travelling companions and great company they were, too [^]
All up, over 6 days, 161 caches were found Smile with only 2 DNFs Sad (one of which we later realised was already disabled Red Face )
Also, during our High Voltage experience, I hit my 8,000th cache find Cool

I was lucky enough to have had GZ in my GPSr and so after a short detour, we arrived at GZ for a very quick find. Smile
What a beautiful area GZ is! Cool
If only we had have had more time to spend here ie camping but as we were just about to hit the dirt tracks we had to move on.
Thanks for an interesting puzzle and a lovely walk at GZ.

Got to love these quick finds! The area was very interesting and the locals have some great facilities to use.

Travelled from SA to do some High Country trails with The White Dog Gang, Princess Consuela and Locus Cache. We all had a great time.

Thanks howjen567 for the cache, the laughs and the adventure.

Headed out for an afternoon of caching. Nearly got ran over by a big orange tractor that I failed to notice. Soon had the cache in hand but had to be careful of the muggle farmer. TFTC

#719 Spent the afternoon at Stringybark Creek before completing a couple more caches on the way home on a loop trip. Mr BGF solved this one over breakfast after rearranging the numbers in the puzzle until it worked. Once at GZ it was a quick find. As we were signing the logbook a number of gunshots went off nearby, frightening the bejesus out of the geohounds and us. Did Ned's ghost follows here from Stingybark Creek perhaps? We noticed this has not been found in a while but happy to report the cache is still in good condition. Thanks for the challenge and cache chewinprickles.

Finally got the chance to drive out here to get this cache. The last time the GPS decided to take us cross country and as the road deteriorated faster than the daylight we decided too call off the search. It is quite a nice drive out this way (on the right road) wandering through the hills. Had one stop off to heard some wayward sheep back into their paddock, by the look of the trampled grass they had been there for some time. Finally got to GZ and quickly had the cache in hand. We were amazed at the size and standard of the amenities here they must have really good community support. tnl: frog & snake sl t4tc

I had seen yesterday that I was booked to work in Myrrhee today, so I got the puzzle worked out and plugged the co-ords into my iPhone for the trip out there today. Found easily once at GZ, signed the log and got back to work!

Found @1350 #1380
While attending the OzMega with ahomburg & Kwokka this was one of many caches found over the long weekend with 101 in total found. Today was the biggest single day with 42 found.

This puzzle was solved over lunch and was pickup on the way back to the Mega. There was no one around and a great spot for a cache. TFTC chewinprickles

Find # 1594

Today was day three of a massive adventure weekend caching in the Albury Wadonga region as well as incorporating the OZ Mega event. I would be spending most of my time with Team Kwokka (Brother and Sister in Law) as well as my caching mate and partner in crime, SedgwickDave

Today we were aiming to complete two power trails, having completed Spirit of Salts, we started to head back towards Wangaratta via a short diversion to start on The Gourmet Run Series.

We were looking at the nearby puzzles at lunchtime and decided that we would tackle this one. Just as our lunch arrived at the table, the puzzle was solved, so after lunch, we headed towards GZ and soon after managed to find the well concealed hide.

Thanks to chewinprickles for the cache. TNLN.

Reperio at 1310. This one has been a long time coming. Solved the puzzle about 3 years ago back when I lived in Wodonga, and it has been sitting there patiently for the day I could make it back down this way. After finishing the Spirit of Salts series, I made the little detour out to this spot, and with no one around, the cache was found. A nice little puzzle, and a nice bushland reserve.

After finishing the Spirits of Salts series we detoured around through some lovely countryside to end up at this spot. Logged the cache and then moved off towards our B&B for the night before heading home. TFTC chewinprickles.

One of 31 finds for the day on a caching run with three of my kids, Jasmine, James and Jemma..... Kids once again ran to the playground while i made the find. Grabbed a "The Chops" pathtag which was good, as i am now collecting them (don't know where that will go). While the kids were playing, spend some time working on clues for Spirit of Salts puzzle. This was one of a series of caches we attempted as part of a 4wd'ing/caching weekend with a few other members of AWGC (Albury Wodonga Geocaching), including DJ Geodog & Rascal and Haveanaz. It was still a bit wet when we got to the GZ, so we didnt get much of a chance to appreciate the location, but it looks like a nice spot. We found the cache without too much trouble, and thanks to Darren for solving the puzzle. Thanks! Left a pathtag

We had worked this puzzle out a couple of months back when we thought we were heading down this way, so quickly went through the 'solved pile' & pulled it out for this trip & double checked the answer.
A nice puzzle which didn't take too long - must have listened in at least ONE maths class! Big Grin

After jumping out of the car & making sure DJ's GPS was pointing the same way as ours, it wasnt too long & the cache was found. Big Grin

Many thanks for a nice puzzle & bringing us out this way - can't say we've been here before.

2nd for the weekend with Haveanez and TheChops in tow.
I had solved this one a loooong time ago, but never had the excuse to come down this way. Being such a miserable day for being outside no one was around and we found the cache unhindered by muggles of any sort.

Liked the puzzle, not overly complicated but made you think a bit.

SL, TNLN, Cheers.

#532 @ 10.35am. The Queen had previously solved this puzzle but do you think we could find it before we took off this morning!! So she had to re-do it whilst travelling down this morning but managed to have the solution sorted in plenty of time. We've never been to this part of the country before so a great opportunity to visit - we were pleasantly surprised by GZ, a very nice place. Would've been better still had it not been so bloomin' cold!!

When I was planning this short trip I solved the puzzle without too much trouble, only to find that I had solved it at least two years ago! Happily both answers were the same and when I got to GZ it was soon found. I like caches in the middle of nowhere (well, almost). Thanks chewinprickles.

We worked out the puzzle last week, so thought we would try our luck with this one today. Started out bright and early and found it at 8.25am. Looks like the start of a beautiful autumn day. Took: goat.Left: spinning top and maze puzzle. Thanks for keeping our grey matter in working order and leading us to this great spot.

Found today, once I had worked out the puzzle, entered the co-ords and headed on down to the park. Nothing, e-checked math, all good, then realized I had put numbers in wrong order, was only 40m out!!!

worked out the puzzle last night to get GZ. It beat "solver" but didn't beat us. Easy find once the right GZ was found! Thanks for the cache.

Found by Mary & David at 1730. An enjoyable puzzlethat David completed not long ago when we planned this trip. After a night in Bright and some maiintenance to a couple of our caches, we could tick this one off too. Great facilities for such a nice little area. Dropped off 'Old Salt' TB. Our thanks to chewinprickles and the family.

Found at 1.45pm on our way home from an Easter touring the high country.
This puzzle was a complete mystery to us.
Only with help from Howard could we see how the equations were derived.
However GZ was a delightful surprise with lots of facilities, all not being used.
A great part of the state with lovely roads and scenery

Took the TB's

As puzzle caches arnt my strong point, i was delighted to cross this one off, although it probably took me longer to solve than it should have done. Red Face

Co-ords spot on, then after a short search the cache was in hand, like the previous finder the TB Screaming Janine wasnt for me, but i left An Angel TB which may help balance the forces of evil residing inside the cache.!

Nice spot in a great area.

found this one today on the way across via Benalla to a great lunch at Whitfield. Once you make a couple of key assumptions, the puzzle is not too hard to complete, and the cache is well placed, matching the coordinates very well.
A great spot, and very inviting to stop and play for a while, especially with the smaller geokids.
TNLN, signed the log. Considered taking the TB, but just too ugly for us to take away.
TFTC - a good place to find.

I had solved this when it first came out, but I had never been invited to visit the area Smile. Today with telescope in hand we stopped for a night. Feathertop and I dashed across the road for the find, then back for dinner (thanks GeoJen21).
Thanks, Robmc.

Although I solved this little puzzle ages ago it sat on the back burner until tonight. I was lucky enough to be staying with the cache owner and his family nearby and when he told Robmc and I to go get the cache we needed no more persuading. Lovely area.

Its taken me a while to log my visit as had computer troubles. Found this one while having lunch during tree planting day with Dad. Thanks to my big brother Chewinprickles for this one. Its a great spot for a BBQ and my kids love it there.

I really enjoyed the simple but challenging puzzle, it's nice to see a different puzzle used. I was heading from Benalla to Wang today so made a deal with Amy to take the scenic detour to log the cache in exchange for some time spent at a winery or two!

The cache was found in the first spot I looked though well hidden by the previous finders. There were also a couple of nasty looking local dogs sniffing around the car when I returned, they turned out to be harmless though.

Cheers,

Found 200706241400 Smile. The biggest mystery surrounding Myrrhee is how so many journalists managed to mispronounce the name during the recent bushires Razz

Malby the GeoHound was keen for a drive and a walk, so after a brief play with the numbers we headed out fairly confident of an approximate location Wink. Upon arrival near GZ out assumptions were confirmed and the cache was found shortly thereafter Smile
