Bringing this onto the reviewer's radar. Sadly the CO hasn't logged in over a year now (a CO responsible for so many brilliant cache hides in the region). Previous finders cannot locate this one any more. Time to get it off the map
I probably should have read the logs before I headed off as I am adding to all the DNF's. i loved the walk and would have done it anyway thanks for making sure I did Scrub Bull
T-Tech and I headed north again this morning bright and early to meet up with a bunch of cachers and spend a day touring around the Glasshouse Mountains collecting smilies We were part of Pprime (P`)'s MEG#4 mob. Now we were 9: us, Hiltonclan, P`, Fangsoki, jimmyproject and CatandMouse.
9 of us were looking here, one of whom was a previous finder, but we didn't find it today
9 of us were looking here, one of whom was a previous finder, but we didn't find it today
Couldn't find this one, despite a really good look around in a couple of locations. A previous finder noted how different the place is with new works all completed, and we all know how much water would have been through here since it was last found. We would say it's gonski, but recommend CO takes a look

Headed north out of Brisbane with IolantheK and Hiltonclan set for a big day (13 Hrs) of caching through and around the Glass House Mountains as part of Pprime (P`)'s MEG#4 mob
For those not in the know MEG stands for "Mission Empty Glass" or to explain, P` wants to bag these caches and a bunch of us cachers went along to get them as well [^])
We had within out midst A previous finder and the cache wasn't where it originally was. Our suspicions for it disappearance fell to one of two options. It was washed away, or when the recent bridge work underway it was removed [v].

MEG4. Our first DNF for the day. We had 9 pairs of eyes looking for this but it looks like there has been a lot of new work in this area and the Cache may have been removed.
Well camouflaged cache and got the bejeebuz scared out of myself and Nicoladactyl by a snake. Scary times.
I had to use my imagination for the water today as it is very dry at the moment. It's hard to believe this whole area goes underwater regularly in the wet season. "Land of drought and flooding rains" for sure. Last time I was here I saw an Eastern Brown Snake a little too closely and I was extra careful today! Cache is still slightly damp inside but ok. Left phonecards TFTC
=) I've always wanted to do this walk for this cache ever since i started caching, i just knew it would be nice so today i took brightskies in for the stroll to GZ , had a great walk through the winding paths that lead to GZ and enjoyed testing my tree knowledge on the botanical signs all the way in . Thanks for a great cache in a lovely area and this was a good one for the 1300 milestone . Cheers Scrub Bull =)
Ayepeacee and i were out today grabbing some caches on our way to the beach, we liked the sunshine but it was 33 degrees, so this rainforest walk was appealling. We pulled up and were a bit confused until we found a path leading in the right direction. Ahh, what a beautiful walk it is! We passed a strange dude with no shoes and a strange expression, then we came to a fork in the path. To go left, of right? we chose the right, the melaleuca walk, and after more lovely strolling through the rainforest we found the cache. It is not in the best condition, its rusty and wet, as you can imagine in the rainforest. Needs a bit of TLC, but the log was still signable. TFTC and bringing us here Scrub Bull. ^^
Good cache!!! found this one with mozzafamily thing was didn't know with bridge!!!

Great Hide The Container was difficult to open because of rust. The log smelt and was a bit damp. Some contents inside were wrecked. Anyway Geodaughter soon had cache in hand. TFTC Scrub Bull
Thanks scrub bull, we picked the other caches up last time we were here, but never realized there was such a lovely walk to this cache. We stopped again to over night here on our way home today and managed to get the walk and the cache tftc tnln
Another lovely day out caching - this time we were heading up towards Maleny on the Sunshine coast hinterland to meet up with geocaching friends RVgeos. We enjoyed finding this cache and especially the walk to gz. We kept admiring all the wonderful mature trees and undergrowth. This one gets a fav point from us.
Thanks to Scrub Bull.
Thanks to Scrub Bull.
Nice easy one, and a most pleasant walk. A little tricky to get open, but nothing a little physical persuasion can't fix. TFTC.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
The area has certainly been hit hard recently, however the walk in to get this one was still very nice
A great area, and we soon had the cache in hand

We really enjoyed this short walk to the cache. Almost lost JM (kid #5) on the way though...
The container is getting hard to open. Navigated by SP (kid #4) and found by the Mum, and retrieved by JZ (kid #3). Found with lochb

Stopped in on this one on our way to a MTB Orienteering event in Pomona. Lovely walk along the path but then we bush bashed our way out to get back to the car faster. TFTC
It was the perfect day for a walk today with a little sprinkle of rain now and then. The area has seen a lot of rain recently but the cache was still tucked safely away. We needed a torch to help locate it as it was quite dark under the trees. TFTC
Do not attempt this one with a caravan on, we found the top car park full and continued on down the road and into other carpark to find there is no turn around facility and we had to back a 20ft van down the hill. Our challenge was getting out of there, apparently the workers across the road fill up the carpark, so we didn't stop to look, maybe next time I will think about it.
Found it
Well this didn't start off too well . First off we took the wrong track and headed off behind the restaurant following the GPSr arrow. We walked about 25m when I heard my Geoson said Dad... STOP look down [?], well I nearly made a mess of my clean jocks , this bloody BIG snake was curled up on the ground having a midday siesta and my foot was half on his curled up body [xx(]
I froze And just stepped back very slowly, he just turned his head slighty and went back to sleep[^] , But I did manage to grab a photo before we departed the area quickly to find a better trail.
After that heart thumping moment we headed to the correct track further up the carpark
The GPSr was spot on with it's directions and we very soon had the prize in hand.
TFTC SLTN and left 1961 Australian Penny (that was a good year)

Out and about on the bicycle today grabbing a few caches up this way.
I was able to park the bike in a very shady spot near the entrance of the tracks.
Then it was off to find the cache. It was a lovely walk along the tracks to GZ. It did not take me too long to find the cache and it is in good condition and everything is dry.
Thanks for the cache.

Nice cache. J(4) and I enjoyed the Geo Adventure. This would have been our favorite find for the day.
This cache is by far my most favourite I had a great time !! So I hit the carpark and head into the trail entrance. HHHmmmm shall I grab the umbrella ?? Nah I'll be right. With that thought it begins to pour with rain so i run back to the geo mobile and get said brolly [^] so I hit the track and find wood beneath my feet and water both sides, this is not gz though so I continue on until I find another likely spot and this is where the real fun began so I dont really no why but I attempted to climb down this hill thing next to this bridge so I get down there to look about and nothing so I try to climb back up hill but I am extremely unsuccessful and slide all the way down sliding the entire way through mud so I am now cold wet muddy and i cant see real well because my glasses kept fogging up BUT I WOULD NOT GIVE UP DUE TO SOME YUKKY WEATHER So I dont give up and i give one last search and WWWOOOOOOOOOOO HHHOOOOOO Got the bugger !! Cache in hand I protected log with brolly wasnt much point in me trying to keep dry anymore. Took some strange dragon left 2 bags of mini erasers and a poker chip. TFTC Scrub Bull !!! I loved it mud and all Luv Rubz xxx
Found with Potatofish. TFTC. A nice little spot. Didn't realise that there was a free 20 hour stop here.
Sweet walk, some masssssive trees in there, and some very interesting ones too. Ended up not seeing the entrance trail to this one so did some off-track navigation to get closer and then came across the proper trail. Found my way to GZ quite easily from there and then quite quickly found the cache as well. Nice container and all in good condition. Again, lovely spot and thanks for the cache. TNLN from what I can remember.
Last one for the morning. Nice walk into GZ, even though the 1.5yr old didn't really appreciate the brush turkey sneaking up behind her!!
Quick search at GZ and the cache was in hand.
T - Hairbands
L - Girls Toys
Didn't make it all the way round today as the kids were getting a bit edgy as it was close to lunch. so made a quick retreat and home for lunch.

I found this with n09ard looking on making helpful comments like "Your hair is caught in the wait-a-while" and "Your jeans are caught in the wait-a-while" and finally whilst trying to prise open the cache container "You've got a redback on your hand". Naturally I said "cricky" at that and left a plastic spider in the cache as a friendlier surprise for the next cacher. The carpark was full but I didn't meet a single person on the walk which is a shame because it is a good one that I've done a couple of times before pre geocaching days. I saw scrub wrens, tree creepers, gray fantails, and whip birds. The log book is mouldy but signable. I replaced the glad bag.Took travel dog TB.
Thanks Scrub Bull.
Thanks Scrub Bull.
I had trouble finding the start of the walk with all the building going on here. Great walk. Thanks
We live in the area but have never been on this walk before. A few mozzies around! Found the cache fairly quickly. Took TB. Thanks Scrub Bull.
Had this one on the radar for some time so decided it was time. Great walk through the rainforest. Not a mozzie in sight until you stop walking then, zap, they catch up. Left Home Is Where the Heart Is TB.

Along with the others we trooped in and made our way to GZ. What a lovely piece of forest. Even watched a Rufous Fantail flit about the undergrowth.Flighty litle bird! TFTC
Found with maleny day out with just a few companions nice find by Rosegums! TFTC
First of the day on our Sunshine Coast jaunt, and a beautiful walk to start the day. A little fantail graced us with its presence near GZ, and there was the most marvelous vine-wrapped tree along the way. Really enjoyed it, TFTC! =•,•=

We were there with the other MCBC cachers. Checked for trolls and spotted soemthing, letting geodaughter RoseGums make the find.

Nice parking area. Interesting walking track. Picked up a further two caches whilst there.
Found after little search. Gps kept pointing in wrong direction. So in the end trusted instincts and was rewarded with the cache.
Failed to spot the trail from the carpark and took a 'red arrow' approach, which also nearly involved a creek crossing. Came across the trail eventually and found the cache with no trouble. Got back using the *right* approach (this is usually the way, isn't it?). TFTC.
Ah, what a great walk, all in great condition and easy walking, did both the long and the short of it SL TNLN TFTC
GPS had no worries today, unfortunately didn't have the clue with me, and was searching what I think might have been quite a distance from GZ. Here for another day I spose.
The rainforest was beautiful in the rain. GPS all over the place, but easy enough to find with the clue. TFTC
Nice walk, lost GPS coverage due to tree canopy. Had to go by clues... spent some time in the wrong area. Mozzies eventually chased us out after finding the cache. Left earplugs, took nothing. SL. TFTC
Well that was certainly an effort to be beheld. Firstly, I trapsed in at the wrong point (true bushman style! :p).. finally located some kind of path *sigh*. Went offroad where the mighty Mio GPSr was leading me.. searched for 20 minutes to no avail. Suddenly, I had an "epiphitree" where it might be (Simpsons quote - not a clue!). Finally came up with the goods. Now I'm sauntering back to the car looking a bit muddy - but did enjoy the cache. TFTC!
A fun walk along the walking path with NyletaM. We found the cache intact and in good condition.

10:30am Nice walk through the bush & plenty of water in the creek after all this rain. A few different places it could have been, so lucky the GPS was ok under the trees. TNL a pen that works, signed log. TFTC Scrub Bull
I understand why it has been 3 months since a find. The track is a little hard to find and the track needs some TLC but we loved the walk and the hide, well done. Minus was alittle scared to cross the bridges but the Cache quicky put an end to that. Took TB left green soldier.
Found at 16:00, Took puzzle and Left Hare TB and button. GPS worked fairly well under the tress TFTC
stopped off on trip to Toowomba , great walk to cache , GPS jumped around a bit but able to find wih clues. On visit from NZ .TFTC
Pleasant walk in here today, no mozzies found it easily! T:tb-Laugh Love TFTC
Spent the night next to the entrance to this one so when morning came it was time to go in search of an easy cache find.
its nice to see an ammo tin used for the first time in my travels in QLD. its got a nice little hiding spot in there and perfect for if it floods as it looks like it has recently.

GPSr was not at all happy to be in "there". I walked right over GZ and it said I had 65 metres to go. About 10 metres further on it suddenly said, "about face, dude. It's 10 metres behind you" [:(!]. I about-faced and found the goods right away. Obviously been under a good deal of flood water, but bone dry inside. TN/LN/SL and followed the trail back to the van.
We stopped to stretch our legs on the journey for a weekend of camping. What a pleasant surprise this area turned out to be! We really enjoyed our quick stroll through the rainforest and with the description provided the cache was soon in hand. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Had a nice walk into this one, the tree cover didn't help the GPS much. Saw the obvious place just which end. TFTC.
Have known about these paths for ages - thanks for a reason to walk them. Cache in good nick but a bit hard to open ...
Entered into the book of LEDGIN'S. Found on Xmas day on my way to Moroochydore for Xmas lunch. NO PEN in cache container. I lost mine on the way here. Didn't sign log and didn't return with a pen as the mossies would have carried me away.TFTC
Worth to visit two caches in the same area. Excellent track and beauty forrest etc. No swap. Sl Thanks Scrub Bull for organising the cache and hunt.

Found while in Caloundra for a weekend away with the extended family, picked this one up on the way in.
Enjoyed the stroll from Rest Stop 1. It appears the tracks through here are not used all that often and imagine it would be a beautiful area with a bit more water.
