Logs
Found this one quickly. Co-ordinates were nearly on point, only about 5m off. TFTC!
Coordinates changed from:S 38 15.506 E 146 4.250Coordinates changed to:S 38 15.499 E 146 4.289Distance from original: 191.2 feet or 58.3 meters.Hopefully now the co-ords have changed.
The coordinates have (hopefully) been updated. Yes, Ive been away from the game for some time but I still enjoy receiving the email notifications when my caches are found.
----------### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###----------Even though this cache might be findable, it is in need of owner intervention, as it is not Guideline compliant. There are multiple logs in regard to the accuracy of the cache co-ordinates.Despite the CO log of 13/Sep/2024 , there is no 'Update Coordinate' log - the coordinates are still S38 15.506 E146 04.250.A basic tenet of geocaching is that listings must contain accurate GPS coordinates. At the moment, based on numerous logs as far back as October 2022 and earlier, it would seem that this requirement is not being met in regard to this cache, see the guideline here: [**Listings must contain accurate GPS coordinates.**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#coordinates) The cache has been temporarily disabled so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please have a read of these Help Centre articles:- [**How to get accurate coordinates**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=128&pgid=673)- [**Update geocache coordinates**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=61)**Could you please update the listing with accurate coordinates?** Please respond to this situation by **30th September** to prevent the cache from being archived for not being Guideline compliant If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and indicating a date when you believe the situation will be resolved. **And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [**Temporarily Disable and Enable**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.
The cache is 60 metres from the published location... and the CO seems to be long gone from the game.
The forecast was for a pleasant sunny spring day... perfect for a drive... and more particularly, a drive to Baw Baw Shire to find some caches to help a challenge or three along towards completion. With my find targets for the day completed before lunch on the edge of Warragul, the original plan had been to have lunch there and then find a few more caches... but I can't resist a Virtual... and there is one only 10 minutes further down the highway... so it was lunch in Yarragon! After lunch I decided I had time for a *spirited drive* in my MX-5 in the hills to the south... and so I headed up to this cache. I spent a while hunting for the cache at the published coordinates without success. Somewhat frustrated... how hard could it be to find an ammo tin... I checked some previous logs. There I found some alternate coordinates so I plugged them in... and to my disbelief, they were pointing 60 metres away! After double checking what I had put in and coming up with the same result I went off to check... sure enough, there was the cache!I am sorry but this is ridiculous... being able to find a cache should not depend on cachers repeating new coordinates. As the CO appears to have long gone from the game, it is time this cache went the same way too.
While the day was certainly more "fine" than the last couple of days, and I was feeling more 'fine' than a i had for days, it was freezing here today! I can imagine how beautiful the view would be on a 'fine day'.Thanks for this cache knot_gillty and for keeping it going for all these years. regardskbuckyps. Cache and log in pristine condition.pps. used coords of 38 15.499 146 04.289 as per a previous finders log. Otherwise it would have been a difficult hunt.
After a walk with the dogs in the plantation, i had a hunt for this one. Luckily i read the activity log after a good hunt at GZ because we would never of found it otherwise. Use the previously shared GZ co-ord which will get you in the right spot. Great area to visit for a hike!
I solved this puzzle several years ago and today was an opportunity to find it. It was a surprisingly misty day so not not much of a view. I found an easy way to GZ along the fence and found the cache a few metres from GZ according to the electronic finding device. I battled between barbed wire, blackberries and over wombat scratchings to find a well weathered container, but all the contents were in excellent condition.
It was indeed a fine day for a country drive and search for a few caches. We found this one quickly following the alternative coordinates listed in the logs. We took the travel big and will move it one. TFTC
Out caching with @mtrill3. We had to read the activity log to find this one. Thanks to JomeoandMuliet for logging more accurate coordinates. TFTC
Interesting drive to GZ with the pine needles blanking the ground easy find thanks to previous posted Co...In true!Tiz13 fashion I ended up taking a tumble on the way down feeling extremely clumsy.
Thanks to the previous logger for providing the accurate coordinates - they were bang on. The moos certainly have a great view. Tftc.
Great cache but far from GZ.
Hope it’s ok to put adjusted coordinates in here:

This cache had us stumped for ages and we were climbing through the weeds and long grass. Cache is located within 50m of the coordinates and with a little help from some past logs managed to track this one down. The kids took and replaced some treasures. Beautiful view and well worth the drive. Thanks for the cache
Very rough
No luck here today very overgrown and not even a veiw with the weather today

Carsick-prone grandkids just managed this journey above the cloud into the crisp winter sunshine- to the view rather than GZ as others have kindly noted - thankyou!
Cleaned out old damp contents and replaced with fresh treasures, incl. a desiccating sachet for the log bag. Took a lonely-looking TB GG32FD

Tftc knott-gilty. Indeed the cache is still here and in reasonable nick. Had to rely on previous logs, one in particular gave me the hint needed. It's a long way from gz.
Off to try my luck at Mt Worth.

TFTC, cache is 50m from GZ, thanks for the hints othere Catchers But be warned other cachers coming up here. Found this under the latch. See pic. Gread day and great spot for this.
After hunting around in long grass, thistles and other hazards at ground zero we read back through other logs qe widened pur search area (50m away!) and giraffe_legs found it. Tftc
What a beautiful view over my local area, that I would never have known about if it weren't for this cache! Thank you.
Shaimarelle and I headed to the farmers market today and decided to go do some caching on the way home. This was the first one we found. Cold windy day on top of the mountain but still a beautiful site. TFTC and bringing us here.
Had it not been for the kind information provided by a previous cacher, this would have been a DNF. We searched at GZ then found the information needed. This cache is out about 50 odd metres. Needs some attention from the CO.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Searched everywhere at gz. About to give up and log as dnf.
Then read a few logs and noticed a few stating cache was 50m away! Checking those coords and bingo! There it is.
Suggest altering coords to those of previous finder, as they were bang on.
Cheers knot_gillty

Mothers Day: as a mother we work our backsides off the day before to make sure there is enough food, clean clothes and housework done to allow us to have a day off consisting of a sleep in, then enjoy the delights our children have chosen for us from the school mothers day stall and the burnt or under cooked breakfast they have prepared for us. Mine was alright, hot cross buns in May, ethically not sure where I stand on it but gastronomically I had not problem with it!
With the formalities out of the way there was only one thing left to do, a family adventure! Not wandering too far away from home we decided to explore Mount Worth and surrounding backroads and lanes with a BBQ lunch and flavoured milk along the way! This was one of the caches we found along the way, thank you for placing and maintaining the cache for our enjoyment.

I was working on a fence line near this and this box caught my eye. When i picked it up i knew exactly what it was so i redownload the geocache app to log it and make it official haha. No GPS coordinates needed
We attempted this cache back in Nov'17 with caching friends of ours however despite having a pretty good search at the posted coordinates we had no luck in locating it. This attempt also took us to the same location and again we still couldn't locate the damn cache! Well that was until I read the previous cachers log who noted that they found the cache some 50m away (55m to be exact). Anyway after spying a likely location which would have good views, since that's what the description highlighted, we ambled over and "Bingo" there it was sitting in all its glory on the ground. Anyway I'm not sure whether it has been moved from the original GZ coordinates or it's always been here and the CO deliberately posted inaccurate coordinates so I'm going add the correct ones to this log!

Thank goodness we've found it at last but not where we had been previously looking, just as well we read earlier logs that gave us a clue that the co-ords were well out, good to tick this one off, great views too.
Finally found it 50mts away or my phone was playing up big time..

Beautiful day for it! Been meaning to try and find this one for a while due to working near by. Finally decided to go find it! TFTC
Well, after a little help from a friend, I ventured out here once again. Lucky for me the information that I received was spot on and I have now been able to turn the frown upside down. The scenery around this area is fantastic so I didn't mind having to retrace my steps. The one thing that I am happy about is that I was able to keep out of the stinging nettles this visit.

After searching high and low, in and out of bushes, wandered into a nest of stinging nettles - very painful. Anyway, no luck for me this time. Thank you for bringing me here
Had a hunt around and were within 1m but couldn't find it. Then the kids were tripping & hurting themselves on logs & prickles so we have up on this one, this time!
This is the second time I have looked for this one. And still no luck. And between the stinging nettles and dead black berries, I decided to give up! Again!!
Glad to tick this one off my list. I needed a bit of time to come out this way to pick this one up. Had been here once before a year or 2 ago when they had cleared the area and we could not find the cache. Now that it has been placed in a new spot it was a much easier find. Just use the new coordinates!
GZ had me in snake territory but kept searching with a stick, nothing, so I checked previous logs & what
a difference 55 meters NE makes, found the cache, signed & left a compass & popper, took peg magnet.

Found it with geoeyes not the co-ordinates but had a great time searching. Another find by Geomum. Thanks. Silkyie
Coords are off, but we knew that from previous posts so just decided to look around instead. Found fairly easily after a quick search with geo eyes on. TFTC. Good view too BTW. And geoson loved it.
Found it 100 m from my iPhone co ords on opposite side of the road. Was a good day for searching luckily lol. Anyway eventually got to take in the beautiful view. Great cache container
After hunting around the original waypoints for quite a while we rwad down and found the new ones which quickly delivered a find. Grwat box. Thanks for this. Might be worth updating the new coordinates on the site.
I was out today for work and decided to stop off for this cache along the way. The views from the drive up were amazing and the sheer drop off the side was not amazing. Thanks to the coordinates posted by Poiter.h the cache was found easily and a BIG cache container and log book were logged.
Our thanks to Knot Gillty for the cache, cache size and the views a favorite on this one.

Was in the area so continued on to this cache. Parked near GZ and started hunting with no luck. Had a look at the previous logs and saw that the cache had been moved and new coords entered by a previous finder. Put these into the GPSr and walked to the new GZ where the cache was found quickly. Thanks to knot gilty for this one.
It was indeed a fine day when we came here & the view is magnificient. Thanks for bringing us here knot gillty.
Went for a drive with Driftwoodsound to get this cache.
The weather must be warming up as Driftwoodsound saw a Tiger snake near the original GZ.
Found the cache in it new hiding spot. [Co-ordinates attached]

The only reason for doing this on a wet windy cold and foggy day was to get no 23 for the month. You dont have to be mad but it helps. TFTC. Wonder what it is like on a fine day.
found this without any dramas at all - it was sticking up out of the dirt as the GZ has been completely demolished. pretty fortuante it is not buried 2 foot under the ground.
moved the cache to new location over the road. CO - it could do with a touch of maintenance and an update to the co-ords, but as you haven't been around since 2011 it may not happen.

Was here with WDSSRoom9 and sadly looks like works on the roadside may have taken this one out of action.
We made our way fairly easily to the junction, but found that there had been some roadworks and a large tree pushed over. We looked around but think that the cache might have been pushed over when the road was widened and the tree uprooted. Sadly no lock with the cache but some great views and an awesome drive.
A lovely big cache, removed some geo rubbish, signed logs and took opportunity to secretly offload a heap of geocache kids trophies into the cache. A bit of a challenging hike over the man made mountain which has temporarily arrived at gz. TFTC
A day out Geocaching and what a find, signed book and swaped toy, the kids loved it. Not hard to find and good to see the Cache in good order with lots of items in side.
Found on a hot muggy day weaving around closed roads and roadworks from the landslides of last year. Breath taking views. SL TFTC
Found this one on not such a fine day,as I rode the motorbike up here the clouds rolled in and the rain came down. I could be so much warmer and drier at home right now, o'well it's what we do. The heavy cloud cover seemed to be playing havoc with the GPS here but it got me to roughly the right spot but with the grass being very long and wet I thought I'd never find it but I found a track already crushed through the grass that lead right to the cache, still trapped under its camoflage and a healthy layer of blackberries. Once retrieved the cache is in good condition and dry.
SL TNLN Thanks knot gillty for this 'adventurous'cache, I'm a bit curious about the track through the long grass as no-one has logged this one for months?

It must have been a long time between visits to this cache. XD1 had to dig though blackberries and all sorts of rubble to get to the cache, I dont even know how he found it.. but I guess it was a logical area to look when you know what you are doing. lol. Another couple of months and I dont think anyone would have found it though. We nearly needed a shovel to dig it out.. Amazingly the cache was perfectly clean and dry inside. Thanks for the cache it certainly is a lovely spot.
Approached this one from the south after riding some good backroads. About 5ks of gravel road to get to GZ. Grass still very long, but with leathers on I didn't have to worry about snakes. I actually found this one with me boot lol. At first I had a bit of trouble, then realised I was looking for a large container so I wasn't leaving without finding it. TNLN Dropped of a TB. Thanks knot gillty for placing this cache.
Went into the hills today to find this cache I have been wanting for a while. Wrong time of the year. Grass as long a small snake and the weather was just right for small snake. In fact I saw a little snake about a kilometer down the road. Might come back when the weather is damp and the grass has died down. Nothing to see here just now but grass...
FOUND THIS WHILE OUT WITH THE BOUNTY TRACKERS WHAT A GOOD SIZED CACHE KIDS DID SWAPS TFTC
What a brilliant cache great swaps kids loved it nicely hidden as well found by ash thanks
Found at 11:53. Took Travel Bug 4Bt0CD and left 2 Brothers Gypsy Cider bottle cap. As it was drizzling, the view was hazy, but I got some good sheep photos! TFTC.
We found this cache on a fine day out fter the Gippsland get-together.
We had great fun following the track past Mt Worth. Navigation by TomTom is interesting around here, but fun if you're not in a hurry and don't mind seeing some extra scenery.
This cache was a fun discovery - an ammo tin is always a happy find. A log walk over the top avoided the long grass.
Anna spent a long time working out what to swap. In the end we dropped off the Frosty Snowman TB and hairy piped ghostfish, and swapped rupiah for 100 Trillion Zimbabwe dollars.
Thanks Knot_gillty for an excellent cache.

It was starting to get a bit late now, but the slanting sun gave the extensive views of the valley a really lovely touch as I headed along the road to GZ. When I left the car to search for the cache, I was surprised at how cool it was (after a warm day of 26°) and when I got back in the car, the external temp reading was only 14° - so it must be a few hundred metres up around here (as it was back to 19° when I was going home along the freeway). This was my last cache for the day, but my TomTom had a final twist for me when it didn't tell me to do a U-turn from GZ and I ended up following it for 15km on a big loop before coming back past GZ on my way to the highway - oh well, it was an interesting drive!

Thanks again Knot Guilty

I was enjoying the area, so i made the drive up the hill to check out this cache and soon had it in hand. i was a little worried about snakes so when i noticed no muggle's about i made a little noise to hopefully get them to disperse.

1250. Up, up, and still further up. What a great view down into the valley, looking over the patchwork patterns of the hay season in progress. This is the best sized Cache we have found yet - lots of room to put things.Took radio, left skipping rope and yo - yo. TFTH
Catching up on getting these 3 TB Jeeps into the cache. A nice booty for anyone who makes the trip up the hill.
We found our 5th Knot_Gillty cache at 5:35pm as the 13th of 18 on our Mini Gippsland Tour Afternoon. This was one road that we had never travelled before in these parts and the scenery changed many times on the way through. We stopped for a while after finding the cache to take in some of the great views on offer. The blackened hills across the valley still serve as a reminder of the tragedies of last month and will do for a long time to come. Thanks for the cache from D,H & H B-A.

After a night of good food and wine we turned right out of the B&B and headed over to this cache. Drove through a lot of windy dirt roads to get to GZ.. Thankfully being Sunday there were no logging trucks around. Swaggie Daff made the find, and we left the Feng Shui geocoin and a felt purse, took a Hot Wheels car. Thanks knot_guilty for the cache.
