A disappointing DNF - I had a muggle-free chance at this one and the GPS seemed to be pointing me to a perfect location so I moved to the rear as directed and nothing. I widened my search, still nothing. Tried from the front again and alas, had to move on.
Found with TR! & dbelco ages ago, sorry for my delayed log.
The old app only has a day left to live so I'm trying to catch up on all my finds that have just been sitting there in saved lists.
Thanks for bringing me here.
Cheers and T.F.T.C!

Loving your caches today alansee! Nice easy find (just one more!!) to cap off our day. Cheers!
Parked in the side street and walked round to the delightful park. Great history about the Cable Tramway that I would never know if I wasn't a geocacher. Thanks Alansee
After attending a appointment just up the road we swung past here and made the find after coming at it from a different angle.Tftc Alansee, and for the bit of history.
Steve & Steph, Steph & Steve went to Gerkas for lunch and decided to go caching in the local area )

While waiting for a member of family to get business done nearby, I went out and found some caches. The history behind this area is interesting, thanks for bringing me here. TFTC
Log replaced.
I have to say that I ma not happy about the stickers that were put on the outside of the container, compromising it.

It was easy to play tourists from the country because that's what we are. Tftc
11/Jun Oops sorry alansee, that last log was meant to be a note not another find. Am still learning the mobile app. Will delete or edit when i get home tomorrow. Cheers.
12/Jun Deleted the accidental second log. The first log stands now stands correctly as found. The original message I was trying to send in the second log was that the logbook in this cache is quite full now. Thanks.

Found with deal$ltd. After a delicious meal on Vic Street great way to end the long weekend. Late night meant muggle free.
Found it! It was time for lunch on top of the hill in Richmond after walking from town and a short tour through the street of Richmond. A great place to watch passing traffic and look down on to Melbourne's sporting precinct. Thanks for the history of the cable trams. TFTC SL Love your work!
Found while in town to go to the footy and staying close by. Quick easy find after waiting for muggles to move on. Interesting location, great to see there is some of our history being kept.

An early morning attack gave me a muggle free go at this one and had the cache in hand fairly quickly. Cheers and thanks.
Looked at the wrong place to start with then widen the search and found the cache, TFTC

After visiting a mate in hospital with Gunks nearby took the chance for a short stroll and after a little search found this. TFTC
Although I have lived in Melbourne for 35 years, some of those in Richmond, it is through Geocaching that I have learned so much more of the history of this wonderful city.
Thanks for the cache Alansee.
Thanks for the cache Alansee.
I was with my muggle friends for a Mother's Day brunch then they dropped us off here and walked straight to the perfect GZ but my GPS said other way direction so I ignored it and found the cache then we were playing with the photo booth. TFTH
This is the cache nearest to my work at The Epworth. I don't usually come outside during the day but it has been so wet and gloomy that I craved the sunshine on offer at lunch time. Gps had me trying a few spots before I relaxed and realized the reason for the cache. Then it was a matter of locating it. Tftc
Visiting from Canada, I walked up from the Docklands to visit a store nearby. This was a handy find along my way back.
Signed log and left a Canadian Flag patch behind.
Thanks for the cache.

Someone sitting right at GZ so I took the advice to approach from the back and after a quick fumble around in the dark I had the cache. Thanks to the security light that I set off for the help to find and sign the log.
Nice and easy find, tftc! Didn't have a pen so I made a small red smudge with my girlfriend's lipstick, sorry! :s
Caught the earlier train to work with my bike again to do a couple more caches in Richmond. There are so many little streets and lane ways here and there to get you to your destination. Found the cache eventually after finding the likely spot in the dark. Thanks for the bit of history on these cable trams. Learning some more history on Melbourne is a great excuse for doing more caching. Thanks for the cache as well.
After reading the plaque on the wall I was a little depressed there was no photos of this bit of Melbourne history. It was a quick find on a pleasant Saturday night. Tftc tnln sl
Find 1045 at 23:22. I was out caching with Burge tonight on one of our usual night caching adventures. We decided to target the city fringe on this run to pick up some of the new caches in the area. All up we found 10 tonight and this was find number 6.
For as long as I've been caching I've always wanted to stop and get this one but there's not really an easy place to park during the day that makes for a quick grab. Tonight there was no issue and we were able to park right next to GZ. I love reading about the history of Melbourne's old trams and this is another fine example of such a story. Thanks for the cache, Alansee!

No problems with this one but I forgot my pen to sign the log. Photo attached instead and I'll sign next time I go down that way. Great to learn more about the cable tramway and see the remains of the building. Thanks for the cache.

TFTC and thank you for the great location. Caches like this make it a worthwhile activity.
A nice quick find using the clue. A muggle behind so the grab was made from the front very discretely. Thanks for the hide Alansee.
TFTC. Found during a one day business trip to Melbourne. Thankfully the meeting finished early and allowed me some geocaching time before hopping back across the Tasman.
#167 (3 of 3 today)
After a pleasant dinner in a nearby pizza restaurant, wandered to this cache with the Geowife.
Took a few minutes for the GPS to settle, but when it did, I was pointed to a spot that looked a likely hide. Found cache in first spot checked.
Hopefully replaced properly - difficult to be certain in the dark. No muggles around so could take time to try to get it right.

Took us a while to work out that we were actually in the building. TFTC and history lesson.
planning out a run today to collect a few solved caches, I was pleased to see that this cache is back up and running, having been in need of service last time I was in the area. After a visit to the G, I rode to this GZ, where after repositioning myself I spotted the elusive cache. Thanks for the history here Alansee, I'm no trainspotter, but I find the history of public transport endlessly interesting. Having read about the old cable system, it was great to finally visit the spot at the top of the hill controlling the whole thing.

Great cache, great location! Lots of
Foot traffic with footy finals on At
MCG, but we were careful.
Had to think a bit then we found it right
away. Put back in exact same place.

Great cache - from uk in Melbourne for the night and found this one on way back to hotel from Vlados - Tftc
#4666 On a beautiful spring day we find ourselves in Melbourne - one confined to the Cardiac Care unit at Epworth Hospital, the other sent out to find a cache to colour in this square of the caching calendar.....it was the one in bed insisting that a cache be found . This cache was only 176m from the front doors of the hospital so it was a short stroll in between phone calls to GZ. Found the suggested access and soon had the well placed cache in hand. Enjoyed wandering around the front of this area too taking in the history and artwork. Loved the old photo on the cache page! And so it was, an enjoyable cache, the calendar coloured in & a contented patient......a good days work . Thanks to Alansee, cheers [^]
We travelled east on the trams to try and see a different bit of the city. First cache on our travels, and a nice little bit of history. Quickly found using the geo-instincts.

Nice quick stop after taking the geowife shopping in Richmond. Third cache in Melbourne and nice spot with a bit of history. TFTC
Bang on lunchtime and there's muggles sitting there! I went the back way and found it instantly woohoo. Now to see what the shopping is like nowadays. Tftc.

Seemed somewhat appropriate to catch a tram to this interesting historic location.
A lunching muggle on a nearby bench ruled out a direct approach, but the suggested "retrieve from the back" was easily doable without being noticed.
TNLN, signed log, thanks for the cache, Alansee.

Once I got myself sorted from the front to the back it was a quick easy find. Thanks for bringing me here and for the history lesson. Now off to the 'G' for a Tigers win. SL TFTC
Good placement and a reasonably discreet find even with lots of people coming back from the footy. swapped a pet rock for a Yin Yang pendant. TFTC
Had to do my best 'urban photographer' impression as there was an old guy near-by who was really, REALLY lingering over his lunch. Think I got away with it. Thanks!
Found it- just around the corner from home. Amazing that there is this sort of history that you never even hear about!
An interesting spot.
I found the container clearly visible and the contents on the ground but intact, so put it all back in a more hidden, but easy to find, way.
Thanks.

Took cache note advice and approached this one from the back. A short walk along the byways ensured and an easy find. It could have been done from the front...but not as interesting.
Our first geocaches... Like a hidden world in the real world. We are going to love this!
on the way to Richmond for work dropped in at 6.15 am parked close walked to gz searched around untill felt the cache quick sign and of to work thanks
Great spot for a cache! As a local, an interesting piece of history in my backyard that I see often but now holds great value! Thanks!
Great spot and more interesting history ... simple find even at night but still enjoyable ...

Visiting from Sydney for the Swans V Hawthorn game at the MCG tomorrow night. We walked along Bridge Rd to the city so grabbed this cache as I passed. Very good coordinates meant an easy find. Thanks for the hide Alansee.

First for the morning run. Wasn't sure which side to approach from so I tried both. A little more effort from the first side approached would have saved a little time. TFTC
