As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
We didn't see this was off line and had a look. Think the last logger who said they found this mixed it up with the other cache along the esplanade here. We didin't find this missing cache either

I took big steps. Middle sized steps and little steps, felt like a bush turkey but to no avail. Muggles must have thought I was crazy, but I searched for a long time determined to find it but no luck.

After finding this one recently I went down to drop off a travel bug that wants to get to NT but the cache was not where I last found it and couldn't find it around the area. Guess the travel bug will be heading back to Qld with me

My first effort left me puzzled at GZ, but then I noted that another cacher suggested 'big steps'. I marked it out again using giant strides and discovered that which I eagerly had sought.

Wish I could say it was easy, several visits to try and find it. Tried bigger paces this time and success at last.
During my visit in Darwin i was looking for this Cache. With the described 42 paces from the listed coordinates, i found the cache on the spot Thanks for hiding!

WanderingAus wandered by on day 87 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, meandering around Darwin after dropping the WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) at Stokes Hill Wharf for a Top End Mustangs line dancing social at the wharf. The social is in the middle of a two day line dancing workshop, which will mark the end of our eleven week Darwin stay. I had four hours to fill in with caching before picking her up, so I started with the close stuff and then worked my way out and about.
I knew this cache had at least one traveller logged in, so I decided to swing by, pick up anything there, make passports for them, then move them on.
Grabbed Mr. Woof (ref = TB1D0PF) and Safety Alert (ref = TB337KW), dropped Darcy's TB (ref = TB2TEV5) and "The Little TB that could" (ref = TB492EX), both with new passports to help them on their way.

Found at 3.05pm GAFF3. So it seems that 42 paces is 34 metres! We were looking at the beach from GZ and were thinking we could just jump in for a few moments to cool down.
Thanks gibbo003.
Thanks gibbo003.
Found while on holiday from NZ. Neatly hidden and the helpful hints were appreciated. Walkers coming up from the beach told us that there were baby crocs on the beach, but we couldn't see them. TFTC.
Yes we found it. When we lived here 40 odd years ago, this was used by "hippies" - they used to sleep under the overhanging tress. I think there are "other" borders now judging by the litter eg. empty VB cartons.
Found TB - Aimee Powers - will move it on. Hope it hasn't been in the direction that we are going!

Sadly there were no travellers in the cache at all, but there were three listed as being there as follows:
Converse (ref = TB2RBV5), A mini red Converse brand shoe key ring, was placed in Lameroo Beach on 29 July 2011 by cabbos. There is an entry in the paper log dated 31/7/2011 - 11:23 by Bsfeis & Finhots & Else (or something like that) from Portugal which includes "In: Our 1st Geocoin, Out: Travel Bug". They haven't yet logged their find, hopefully that will sort out Converse, not sure what happened to their geocoin.
Loggerhead Turtle micro (ref = TB12HWC) is long gone. On 14 July 2011 I posted a note for it (on the coin's page) "Loggerhead Turtle micro (ref = TB12HWC) has been missing for over a year, and needs to be marked as missing".
As I previously logged, Super Cacher Geocoin (ref = TB175ZH) was probably placed here on 7 May 11 by JWstorming who wrote "Bug drop to keep a couple of trackables moving. Was no inventory in the cache ?". He didn't log the drop until 19 Jun 11, which made it difficult for the cacher who probably picked it up.
On 17 May 11 edmil wrote "... I retrieved one of the TB to help it's mission ...". I believe this may have been Super Cacher Geocoin.
I emailed edmil and he confirmed that the TB he retrieved was a different one.
Sadly I think think this one will also need to be marked as missing.
The log book was full and entries were very mixed up and difficult to trace travellers, so I replaced it with a new log book. The log book is probably in the best cdondition of all those I've replaced, so if the owner wants it I'll arrange to place it somewhere for him.
Just to keep the cache busy I dropped Aimee Power !! TB (ref = TB2R39Q) and Snowy TB (ref = TBNHYA).

My first cache in almost 5 months!! My first in Darwin, Gemma's 1st ever! Been in Nhulunbuy in the NT working to save money to travel...no caches there. I took my English friend Gemma along with me who wanted to get into geocaching =) She is only in Oz for a month and she enjoyed it so will carry it on in England.
This was a bit of a tricky one to start with, she searched really well and then it always makes finding it that much more rewarding! I spotted it in the end.
I dropped off a cute gingerbread man geocoin I picked up in Cairns before I left for Gove =)
Also left a wrist band, a little star bead and my card as it was looking a little empty. Took 2 cachers cards =)
First of 5 for the day xoxo
Oh, there were no trackables in the cache by the way!

Accidentally found while going to the beach. When I passed the tree I thought this would be a great hiding spot...but wait there is already something hidden
12:00 - had to leave one of the team on lookout while scroungong around for this one as the path was very busy.
WanderingAus wandered by on day 50 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, after dropping the WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) at the Darwin Cinema Complex for a viewing of the final Harry Potter movie, I had over 2 hours of caching time available.
I was driving along the Esplanade when this cache popped up on my screen as having travellers in it, so I found a parking spot (in the shade even, how lucky is that?), and headed over to see if I could pick them up. I was disappointed to find there were no travellers in the cache.
The log book contained an entry dated July 14 by GCMelb "TFTC" and the corresponding electronic entry read "Quick find once the coast was clear. TFTC"
The previous entry on July 12 was by MattVader23 and read "TFTC! first Darwin cache! MattVader23 dropped GC!".
MattVader23 has only ever logged one GC, and that one never came to this cache, so I'm not sure what he meant by his log.

I managed to knock off work early, and went on the search for a couple of caches that I had noted the day before. My first attemped cache was abandoned due the appearance of someone living on GZ. So continuing on my wander, I ventured toward this cache.
The location notes were spot on, and I soon had the cache in hand. I took the GC in a plan to move it along.
Unfortunately, once I looked at the details I realised that I would only be retuning it to where it had come from (almost exactly!). So, with that in mind, the GC was replaced in the cache on the 16/7.
A lovely path for a stroll.

Found in the dark at 10-15pm after a very nice meal at Hanuman. Left a TB which wants to visit as many beaches as possible. TFTC.
A lovely path down to the beach. left a travel bug which has come from Wanganui New Zealand from a class of 7 year olds which needs to get to canada. I have been searching for a large enough cache for it. hope it travels well
Walking back from the fish feeding decided to leave my group of friends and find a few of the nearby caches.
I didn't know how I would go with this cache, 42 paces, who's side paces I kept thinking. Walked down 42 my size paces, but over shot the mark. While returning back up the path I noticed something that was out of place and sure enough there was the cache.

Marco is in Darwin for work, so I flew up for the long weekend so we could find some Darwin caches. We decided to give this one a go despite the Greek Festival being in full swing nearby. We had to be patient as there were a lot of passing muggles - and we added to the difficulty because my paces weren't quite as big as gibbo003's! With the help of the clue we eventually found the cache. Nice hide and nice place. Picked up the Pickeldi TB and signed the log. TFTC

Found by edmil. Up in Darwin doing a bit of work and this one was not far from the motelmI was staying at. A quick walk to GZ and the cache was soon in my hands. I needed to move away from cache location soon after retrieval as muffles were on their way. After signing the log I retrieved one of the TB to help it's mission. Thanks for the cache it brings you toba great location and the hide is pretty nifty too. No swap was made however I dropped one of maddie's and my pathtags off. Great cache.
Bug drop to keep a couple of trackables moving. Was no inventory in the cache ?
After a few times of counting our steps we found it.. we left a glass button and took nothing. The cache looked empty. Loads of fun ... looked around few times cos of the birds. Nice hide.
Another quick one before breakfast, a very nice little pathway and MrsMic was proud to beat me to the find today.

No problem finding this one; 42 steps precisely from the starting point! Left a geocoin that I picked up in the ACT. TFTC!
During our trip through Australia we tried to find as many caches as possible at all main attractions where we went. This is number 46. TFTC!
Quite an easy find considering the length of paces varies. Tried to conceal it a little better. Didn't walk all the way down as it was freaky enough getting to this point at 0245. TFTC
Sun going down, getting a bit dusky. Interesting little pathway down to the beach, with lots of birds squawking away in the trees. Second find in Darwin. Will look for more later in the week, as I fear my 'geocaching pass' is about to expire with muggle mrs. TFTC
Found after a short search and then the extra clue. Cache half exposed so rehidden more appropriately. TNLN. TFTC.
Apparently my "42 paces" are equivalent to anyone else's 60 paces. Being a 6ft 6in self confessed giant has that effect! Lived in Darwin for nearly 8 years, didn't think there was any more to discover. I was sorely mistaken. What a wonderful little secret this one is.. May need to change the log, however, as the cache is no longer a sistema container.... Also the log is a little damp. Wonderful hide however. Thank you so much for showing me a beautiful part of Darwin.
Nice location. I guess my paces are longer than the cache administrator since I was nowhere near 42 paces once I arrived at the cache.
Easy found ..after the 42 steps... on the way back home to the Netherlends

Great place for a cache. Nice easy find, took a walk down to the waters edge for a look. TNLN. TFTC.
I have found this before so knew exactly where to look. It wasn't in the same spot nor anywhere within 20 metres either side of the Base of Tree. I hope that it has got cache creep and not muggled.
Another easy find, (For Perth visitor on business) however, stealth mode a must, high muggle area.
