Logs
After camping the night at Lake Cargelligo Frogs Hollow, we packed up this morning and continued North to meet up with the Father in law at a property near Carinda. It was a nice drive today through some back roads, so many different types of lizards and snakes spotted along the way. Highlight of the day was the Macquarie Marshes walk.We arrived in Nyngan, grabbed fuel and a few supplies, and then got to caching around town. Drove in from the other side at first, then realised we needed to be back out on the highway, so we whipped around and once there made a quick find.TFTC!
#8196Back o Bourke Day 2! Dubbo->Bourke.Were on a road-trip chasing some LGAs we need between Coonamble and Kyogle, via Cobar and Bourke. The car is packed with TOTTs and snacks and we are prepared for long drives and short walks, hoping to gather the required LGAs without damaging our DT average in the process, all the while logging as many trigs as we could get to....Another LGA for the map, it is slowly turning green....Yep, I missed this easy hide! I am getting slack, lucky my son is getting less slack, slowly. Thanks for the cache!
#8196Day 2 of our Northern/Western NSW Roadtrip.Dubbo -> Bourke via 4 missing LGAs.Another long, but not quite as long, driving day. Heading out of Dubbo, through Cobar then north to Bourke for the night, pretty much grabbing anything that isnt a 1.5/1.5, especially high DTs, but theyre sparse out here anyways end of copy paste Quick easy find here for the LGA! TNLN SLThanks for placing and maintaining this cache T.Trudi
Accio 06:42:20Driving Brisbane to Central NSW yesterday in pouring rain, and today a bit of a tour of central NSW before heading to Albury tonight. Perfect sunshine, a light breeze, still warm. Nyngan was closed this early, so a few quick geocaches like this one before I headed further on in search of coffee. Thanks T.Trudi for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12711}*
Love these older ones. Filling in my Oz specific Jasmer.Definitely following drobbonz in reverse.Normally we are caching with them but they went a different way after we left Gladstone a month ago.Tftc

Day 4 of my tour of Central NSW. Hoping to chase some LGAs and other points of interest. Left Gilgandra and headed West with Bourke as the target for the end of the day. First stop was Nevertire where a slosh through the wet found this cache. Luckily it's a fine sunny day and the shoes will dry out. Next stop was just a quick pitstop but cache is not quite the way it should be. Log is still fine and dry though. Arrived at Nyngan and collected a few outback caches. Tftc
On our travels we found ourselves in Nyngan and took the opportunity to grab a few caches, this was not the easiest place to pull over with a van but did a short walk back to get the prize, thanks for placing this cache

We continued today our tour in NewSouthWales, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to T.Trudi for the generation of this nice cache Gateway To The Outback (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

The sign made me smile, so happy to be headed for the outback. Quick find. All good with the cache.
Another reason to stop along the road on our way from Cobar to Bourke on a circuitous route to pick up some extra caches on this beaut holiday in remembrance of our wonderful Queen Elizabeth, thanks for placing it here. Found with Ronice88
Following The Compass around Australia has found us exploring Nyngan. A short walk from our accommodation we found this one quickly & easily. It's in a high volume muggle location so stealth is required!!! SL. TFTC.
P.S The log is quite wet.

Heading north from TAS to eventually end up at the Gympie Muster for the 8th or 9th time. So two nights here as we cruise up the road caching as we go. Four to get here all successfully achieved. Not where one might expect it to be as afirst thought, but found quickly enough. Thanks T.Trudi for a good spot. We got a toot from a passer-by possibly in the know.
Great gate and great sign. A quick park and grab to break up the drive from Narromine to Cobar. Thanks
Quick find but container is totally disintegrated, log soggy and just protected by a ziplock bag. I will place a new container tomorrow as I leave town. TFTC
Road trip Day Two: Coonabarabran to Adelaide.
As many LGAs as possible!
Halfway through the day we found out we had to be back in time for something the following afternoon, resulting in a very long day!
I used to work with a bloke from Nyngan; this one’s for him. I’ll bet there’s a cache on The Big Bogan; that will keep for next time.
Thanks T.Trudi.

Final cache of Nyngan, spotted GZ on my way in however thought there may be a better place to park than on the side of the highway.
I was wrong! This is definitely best done by parking at the welcome sign (room for 1 car dodgily parked), once there cache was found in the open - I tried hiding with a bit of camo but is still relatively open.
Thanks, a great finish to a fun arvo of caching.

In town with Shumba7 for a couple of days camping by the Bogan River. Collected a couple of caches after saying hello to the big bogan himself.
TFTC, found with Algae, visiting the area on our bicycles… grabbing all caches in this town for now heading to Dubbo.
On our road trip, Nyngan was our first overnight. These 4 caches were on my list. Drove to the welcome sign and started searching. Found not where I though it might be. SL and replaced. TFTC.
Found with Joolay on a roadtrip to Forbes. We had a quick pick up here and had to drive on to get back to Forbes. We would gave liked more time to explore this town. Thanks for hiding this cache T.Trudi

Nyngan was my most northern stop on a four lday sprint gathering LGAs and counties around Western NSW. I found this cache as I started south again and it was a quick easy find. It has been in poor condition but some kind person has improved it by doubling up the container and replacing the log. TFTC T.Trudi SL TNLPT
