Sorry, what with the fires and other distractions, I'd completely forgotten about this. It should have been archived before this.
As I hinted in my last notice, I'm no spring chicken any more and iIt's too difficult for me to renew the muggled cache.
Hopefully someone else can take over to keep the memory of our dear old mate Kevin Heinze alive ...

Sorry, I'm getting on a bit and unable to check it myself right now. Will make a thorough check as soon as possible and then either refresh or delete it.
As with the past seekers this one seems to be muggled. Could the owner please check?
Unfortunately I think this one is gone. The hint is very specific and we searched as much as we could without damaging the garden. I think it's been muggled.
Nice little walk, a quick grab. Fantastic sausage rolls from a nearby cafe, think it was Hudson's?? good stuff. Thanks for the cache. ZZ7
the park where this cache is hiden is very nice. The garden near the cache is a bit wrecked.

Last day in Australia after 10 month travelling. I had another look to Nicks Cache (with him . Cache is in good condition. I took TB NIBBLES for having a travel mate on my flight to Germany tomorrow.
This is a really pretty park, and a nice walk. We really liked the idea with swapping the flower seed packets.

Beautiful park - enjoyed wander the park. No swap. SL. Thanks nicklaus for organising the cache and hunt.
Parked a short distance away and then saw the close park but no matter - it was a lovely day. I knew of this garden but not where it was so thanks for showing it to me. Cache found easily and then the garden was more fully appreciated.
Found by edmil & maddie. What a great little oasis. Certainly didn't know it existed. Maddie and I enjoyed a nice stroll through the area. The cache was a quick find as it was partially exposed. We made sure that it wasn't as exposed on its placement (same spot though)thanks for bringing us to this wonderful spot. No swaps were made as we were unable to keep with the theme.
In answer to the last cacher's question and for all those too young to remember, the gardening expert and former TV personality who donated this part of his garden to the public is Kevin Heinze.
Nice ANZAC Day. Very nice garden too, accompanied with sevabo, birdberna & skyejam. My geokids enjoyed swap the toys TFTC.
found it - accompanied with skyejam and sevabo and pwala. TFTH

Very nice spot hidden behind the shops. Driven by a thousand times but never stopped to have a look around before. Enjoyed the hunt. Took Geocoin PC2T87. Planning to ride up the mountain so will drop coin at next found cache so it may continue its adventure. Cheers Ric
Found this on our way up to Pie in the Sky. The cache was lovely but PITS was out of power so Harlips went hungry.
We too the Kangaroo Paw seeds - lovely as our front garden is all native - and left the Carmel Apple Geocoin - sticking with the growing nature of the cache.

Nice park and gardens. Nice to place a cache near suitable seating!TN left a squishy gecko - every garden needs a gecko or two to eat the nasty little bugs. TFTC.

We found our 1st Nicklaus cache at 1:10pm as the final of 5 on my "Cache before it gets too hot" Midday Monday Dandenongs Jaunt with WM. I had visited Montrose on a number of occasions but didn't realise that this nice little garden oasis was here. We used the clue as I hate stepping off the board walk till I know exactly where I am going. As I decrypted WM made the find. Thanks for the cache from D B-A.
Found 16:25, our last cache for the day and the best, this was a great location and a really pleasant surprise when we arrived at GZ.
TNLN, CSI=4, thanks nicklaus.

We arrived at GZ only to find an elderly couple sitting on the nearby seat - and who could blame them, it's a lovely setting! After a brief walk around the gardens we returned to find the couple had moved on, making it an easy find for us. Took TB Don't Lose My AZ Shirt, LN. SL at 4:30pm. Thanks nicklaus for the cache!
Found at 16:30. My very first solo find. Lovely spot, very peaceful, only one muggle walking her dog, who didn't stay around, and then I had the place to myself.
Left Arizona TB, wearing an Aussie Thong keyring

Had a look at doing this one just before Christmas after attending a party at my bosses house just up the road. (Yes he drives from here to Sunshine). Geojen was with me at the time and it was late at night and we couldn't see how to get in so we left it then. Again this time it was late at night and still we couldn't see the way in but we went anyway and found the cache without much fuss. Probably walked further than we might have but all good fun.
Thanks for a good cache in a very nice location.

I think we went the long way into this cache, but we were plaesantly surprised at what we found near GZ. It was just getting dark, but it was an easy find.
Thanks, Robmc.

Dropped by this Cache at 12:15 on my way to a meeting in Lilydale. A muggles painter was working on a new boardwalk just metres from the cach, so I went to the meeting and returned in the evening after the meeting had concluded.
Left TB CFA Firetruck - and it's just a short distance to the CFA Montrose Fire Station! Took NZ Paula TB.
SL ... TFTH Nicklaus
PS - Current construction/revitalisation work might require watching lest Cache is disturbed.

Found this one after a nice walk through the park. Needed to hide this one a little better as the new walkway made it a little exposed.

Found at 0950. Ended up parking in a little court across the other side of the oval, but the walk was nice, and the garden was good too. Cache found easily enough as it was sticking out a bit.

I found this cache with Oenze and feathertop. It was our last cache of the day and a good one as the garden was a complete surprise and the cache was an easy find. Thanks TNLN
Find # 2175 and 12th of the day at 5:24pm. Accompanied by Feathertop and his Mrs. on another day out caching. Easy find in a nice little park. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Nicklaus....
This garden was a total surprise and was a pleasure to stroll through this afternoon. The rain had brought out wonderful botanical aromas and the cache was easily found. I could see that a new boardwalk was in progress near GZ. Thanks nicklaus.
I travel past this cache at least once a week and have stopped off a few times only to find gardeners busy gardening, so I have not even tried to locate the cache.
Today I stopped again and although the gardeners were in they were well away from the cache location. I also had a ploy/decoy plan and armed with clipboard and camera they thought I was a keen gardener/birdwatcher and ignored ny movements whilst still in sight.
It was easy to find the cache as I was totally out of sight and the coordinates were spot on which made it all in all a enjoyable caching experience. I also did take a few picks of the Staghorn fern and a few other picks of the wonderful gardens.
Many thanks to Nicklaus for bringing me to this great little spot that I may use many times to come for a driving break in the truck, an excellent cache hide and location.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the "Hey they even sell coffee nearby which earns an extra "excellent" Clan.

Found at 8.35pm GAFF1. A lovely mild evening to search for a cache in a very impressive Peoples Park. Thanks nicklaus for showing us this place - never knew about it. Took Belken TB.
Found in the company of Muzza and Barcoder. A very hot day. Thanks for the cache. The 1st of 11 for the day.
This was the first cache of 8 today with Barcoder and Kiwideb. Once we found the right way in to GZ it was a nice and quick find - a good start to the day. And its a lovely area for GZ - a hidden wonderland.
I took one geocoin and left another two. My thanks to nicklaus for the cache and for showing us this great spot.

I spent an excellent but hot day today, in the company of Kiwideb and Muzza completing 11 caches. Muzza made sure we saw a bit of everything. Bush land, hills, parkland, hills, a swimming pool and the Yarra River. We had an excellent day. Thank you Muzza and Kiwideb, you are always great company and it is a treat to cache with you both. This was a nice one to start the day off. I did enjoy this spot. Thanks for the cache nicklaus.

Found after a short walk on the way to work. Had come another day but there where muggles in the area. Returned today for a muggle free find. The coords confirmed the area and the cache was found a few miniutes latter.
A nice park I'd heard of but never located till this cache.
Thanks Nicklaus

We had hoped to grab the Dizzy TB so we could post it back to the owners, but alas it was gone when we got there. Certainly a pleasant little park that we did not know about when we lived in the area. An easy find and we left our mark in the logbook.
Thanks for the cache nicklaus.

We're the owners of Dizzy the Travel Bug Elephant who is currently visiting Kev's Oasis. We're trying to get Dizzy back home to the USA (via mail!) so she can participate in a school project for our daughter.
If anyone would be able to retrieve Dizzy and send her back home to us, we'd greatly appreciate it!

First cache of 8 for the day. I have drived through Montrose thousands of times over the years so unaware of this little hidden treasure, this was a great little garden I loved the large birds nest ferns. Thanks for bringing me here and thanks for the cache.

I was up early (for me ) today, so I thought a quick motorbike ride out to Montrose before work seemed like a good idea. It was very humid, and the clouds were very low and shrouding the upper slopes of Mt Dandenong - which looked really good from around GZ . I well remember Kevin Heinze and his gardening show on the ABC ("Sow What") and can recall that, when his daughter Kim died from cancer, he opened part of his garden to the public, but I've never visited it and I was of the impression that it was up near Olinda for some reason.

Thanks nicklaus - it's a lovely spot and well worth the visit.

I could not have beaten Scooters Mob, did not see it till I started logging caches found over the weekend, had to put washing on the line, then into the Tank47 Geo4X4. Second to find is still ok as Scooters said we have beaten the regulars. As I did not get there until 12 noon I thought I might have found a couple of lunch time cachers. What a neat little park to remember a great Guy. TFTC Nicklaus, TNLN.
Found @ 6:55. I don't believe I’m the first to find this one. You normally have to be pretty quick off the block to beat the regulars who go after the FTF’s. Another nice little park I didn’t know was here. TFTC
At last I found a home for the Long Island Geocoin
