Sadly a DNF. Think this one may have gone wander.
Was a nice area and definitely suited for a cache.
Was a nice area and definitely suited for a cache.
It is not where I found it previously. Recent floods may have washed it away. Owner may want to inspect site.
Had a quick look, thought it might be easy from other comments but too many mozzies at dusk to stay long. Also awkward with muggle camper close by. Have to try again another day.
This cache proved my nemisis today...
GPS was insistent from the get go but no matter where I looked cache didn't didn't want to reveal itself
Had to make to with spotting a small mantis & a heap of fungi growing out of a tree...
Always next trip to the area..
Thanks to the Lost Bunch for the cache

This was tricky because of muggles on the playground but we managed to either distract them or bore them enough to make the grab undetected. The cache was quite visible so I could flick it into my hand very quickly for us to wander away and the return was also no problem.
Very disappointed to find the toilet block is now officially closed! What's with that? TFTC anyway Lost Bunch!

Found it!! Someone stole the Q lol, But you could easily see where it came from!!
Log was wet so we dried it out on the BBQ (Well Done) TFTC

Found this one quite exposed just sitting on the surface. Hid where we thought it should be.
Found the bench, but no sign of the cache. No idea what the hint could refer to either.
Nice little park which I have visited before. Log dry. TNLN TFTC Thanks The Lost Bunch
Our last for our day visit to Caloundra with fellow cachers Yorki. Took the total up to 11.

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
A fairly quick find today, with the park very quiet, besides a few ducks

Just logging on some caches after being away for a holiday, the date may be a out
I had a rest on the seat while hubby went for a wander and collected the cache. SL TFTC
Nice little park, no ducks, but found after 15 minutes wondering about the clue...TFTC
Found this one after about 15mins. I was just about to give up when the geowife looked in an obvious spot. I could have kicked myself. Nice hide.
Luckily I had the area to myself today.
The GPS was pointing to a spot where I had multiple choices for search areas. I think I tried them all twice before the cache appeared.
No ducks to be seen today. TFTC.

Nice little park with a pond...Ms Bushies2 found it easily, well hidden. Thanks The Lost Bunch.
Thought we would try this one again today with some caching friends of ours in town. After several unsuccessful attempts previously we were must annoyed that our friends had this one in hand within 5 seconds of pulling up. Made us look like fools again!!
I'm sure i looked in that spot last time, and the time before.

An easy find with the KLE. It took the young pirate about 2 seconds to find !!!!
Oooohh! Harder than a 2 when it's pitch black and the torch is weak. A bit creepy too when it's dark and no-one's around. Found it eventually even tho I couldn't see the relevance of the clue. Thanks for placing a cache here for us to find. From what I could make out it's definitely a place that would be nice to visit during the day.

We found it! Cool park. Not a soul here.
First one found on my new phone. Yea! It worked.

BonkersBear found this one - though we all think the hint relates to the ducks!!! No ducks today - greatly disappointed as ducks are a favourite of ours. We even had bread ready - but no ducks.
The water lilies were in bloom and it was a really pleasant day for caching. TFTC
Found with Questing4 and Crazy Lady Lisa. The water lillies were in flower so we took the opportunity to take some photos. thanks for the hunt.
Found with Questing4 and AusTrackers while here on holiday from Perth. Thanks for the hunt.
This cache was part of our holiday to the gold coast and sunshine coast. Although we did not go as a caching holiday only we still managed to find over 100 caches in our ten days. The density of the caches some of the areas made a quick 10 or so fairly easy. The only cache I really wanted to get was Queens Land, one of the oldest caches in Australia. The family really enjoyed the weather, theme parks, shopping and of course the caches. Thank you to all the people that have placed the caches in these areas.
No ducks around today - much to the Geo Wife's disappointment.

This took some finding as the gps wouldn't settle, and the clue has us stumped. Once the muggle kids moved away we could search in earnest, and after a pause to think where I would hide it, the cache was soon in hand.
Found at 12:17 PM poo stink, wasn't me. I don't understand the hint, and the GPSr had us walking in circles, but we got it in the end.

Third time unlucky for us. First attempt some weeks ago was halted by muggles in close vicinity to GZ. Second attempt was halted by a significant amount of water two weeks ago that had the whole park under water and the access road completely in accessible.
There was no excuse this time however. We looked high and low but all to no avail. We widened the search but still no joy. We will have to come back again another time and find it, and I hope the fact the park was underwater two weeks ago hasn't had anything to do with us not being able to find it.
We'll be back!

Thankfully, when I tackled this one, GZ was a ghost town. This one took me a bit of looking around but it finally came to hand TFTC The Lost Bunch - a great little camo job.
Found in the company of RazCav84 & Indigiggles on a Sunshine Coast Blitz with two kids.
I used to live on the coast for 16 years but only cached when my Dad (mtbikeroz) visited, Still, I never thought to make my own account for many years and therefore missed out on many more finds. Now that I have left Qld however I regret not having done it sooner!
Loved re-visiting some of my favorite areas and showing my friends the places I loved!
I will admit that when we lived nearby some time ago, we discovered Soda bombs and blew up the Wheelie Bin, the lid went somewhere into oblivion and the remainder of the bin was blown apart like something you'd see in the movies!! Hahahaha, Should I be admitting to something like this??

Turning out to be a great day cacheing With my best Friend From South Australia. But someone might want to look in the play ground for a brand new pair of kids sunnies.. So Cross he lost them.. Well hidden though..
I walked over from Kings Beach. When I arrived at GZ there was a family playing in the park so I had to sit and watch the ONE duck until they left. After the family left the find was quick. On my way back to my accommodation I was caught in a downpour but it least it wasn't freezing rain like we get back home. TFTC.
The place was quiet today and when I saw something odd the cache was found in its good hide, thanks The Lost Bunch.
A nice park which I have driven past for years but never visited. The honours go to the Geowife for spotting something out of place. TFTC
Found this one quickly on our way back from caloundra today. They've done a lot to this park recently, it's a lot better than it used to be. SL TFTC
Took a while to locate this one, waited for some people to move on, then the sky birds kept wanting to shift wondered in circles for a while then my perserverence paid off.TFTC
It is not holey duck it is holey what the smell. It was a definate quick find as the smell was suffocating. Hope it was just for the day as it is a really nice park.
Quick find in this nice quiet park today. Saw plenty of ibis (pl??) but no ducks today. TFTC The Lost Bunch
Quick find during our cache raid of the Sunshine Coast however we had to wait a while till the coast was clea. The kiwis were finding it hot and keen for fast finds and then back to the air conditioned car T4TC.
Another nice little cache from the Lost Bunch. Dad, Dan and newcomer Mitch found Ground Zero and had morning tea waiting for muggles to disperse. They weren't going anywhere so with the old diversion plan in place Dad swooped in and grabbed the prize. A leisurely sign and similar tactic to replace and we were on our way. Thanks, nice hide.
A few showers about so the area was nice and quiet. Plenty of ants had taken shelter with the cache. TNLN Thanks
Nice Camo, some muggles sniffing around so cache taken for a sleep over and returned Christmas night. Took Geobadge and left lucky coins

Found on the TiedyeSmileys Adelaide, NSW and QLD trip away.
Took a punt on where this one might be as we drove up based on its name. Wrong we were which was lucky as there was a muggle in the pond trying to catch tadpoles, goldfish or something.
A quick search and we soon found the cache.

As we pulled into the car park of this lovely little park we spotted someone acting suspiciously like a geocacher, we watched him as he honed in on gz and then saw him walk away as a muggle approached from another direction. After the muggle departed we headed towards gz and had been searching for a while when we heard a voice say, I know what you're doing. It was Slat's so after a bit of a chat three pairs of eyes started to search and we were just about to give up quite awhile later when Slat's found the cache on the ground. We all signed the log and then replaced it where we thought that it should have been

I was driving past today and checking my mobile for a quick cache and 'Holey Ducks' popped up 300 metres away,
as i was caching a pair of muggles came walking over. Little did i know these muggles were armed with GPS's.
We joined forces and finally found the cache Uncovered 1 meter into open grass.
Thanks for the Cache

100 finds,
Great little park, Cache was fairly easy to find hint sent me in the wrong direction but decided to trust the GPS now zeroed
was thinking along the lines as BB(Q)
couldn't leave my 100 finds geocoin as it is too large for cache, But left my 100 finds pin for owner to keep or to leave in the cache
The coin has been dropped in GC1H4B7 is you wish to discover it or move it but be quick as it is an easy find
Did some maintenance to your cache. Camo up the cache for you.
