Found on the way back from Narrandera.
Our paper map said there were two tracks going past here. A more major one & a minor one. The minor one looked like it went closer, so we aimed for that one. Found the major track, then the minor one, but is was very overgrown. If we had the geobike we might have gone straight ahead. But given we had a 4wd & trailer, decided it would be easier to head back to the major track & walk in.
Geowife refilled water bottles while geodog took geohubby to the cache. Saw some markings near a tree making it look like the cache had gone missing. Then located cache in good condition.
Geowife also located a cool circle in a tree while waiting.

Cache found without any issues. Quite an adventure getting out here. Would have been easy if i didnt care too much about keeping the car somewhat clean!.
Anywho cache is all in good order thanks for the walk!

Certainly in the thick of it. Easy find once you get to it. Bit of uncharted navigation to get there. TNLN TFTC
Found during an epic long weekend of quality caching around the Riverina with fitzy_1965. Lots of km's covered including some fun wheeling in the beautiful countryside meant for a thoroughly enjoyable trip
Found a good track in and it was fun yet again to get the geounit a little dirty in the muddy puddles along the way. Nice easy find at GZ [^]
Thanks for the hide, Roostaman

18,516. Found during a meander west of Wagga with specimenX.
This trip we decided to go for crossing off previous DNFs and to try for harder/longer to get caches deep in forests and reserves. This was one we hadn't tried previously. We worked out the route in which worked perfectly. A fun but easy drive in. Quick find and sign of the cache.
Thanks Roostaman !!

I have a free day… let’s go caching. I decided on finding the last section of the ‘RGGT Trail’ and the loose caches between the final of the trail and Narrandera. It feels so good to have finally finished the ‘RGGT Trail’ and off my To-Do-List. I started this trail on the 31 October 2016 and finished it on 26 November 2018 which is a 757 day journey. This includes 5 attempts and lots of fun and laughs.
Day #1 (31/10/16): Caches #1 to #19
Day #2 (05/04/18): DNF’s from #1 to #19
Day #3 (17/04/18): Caches #20 to #32
Day #4 (25/07/18): Caches #33 to #61
Day #5 (26/11/18): Caches #62 to #81 (A.K.A. Final)
It was such a nice drive around the county side with a clear sky, a lot of wildlife running/flying around and getting lost in Matong Forest. I did eventually find my way after nearly an hour of driving and walking around the area. Before heading home, I had lunch at Subway in Narrandera. On some of the smaller logbooks I signed as 26/11 JM and TB visit on all found caches today. I would like to thank Riverina Geocaching for the great trail and to all other CO’s of the other caches I found and for the fun I had while finding them.
As said above, I got lost finding this one but I did enjoy the bush hiking. TFTC!

It is a beautiful sunny, winters day which allow us to make good use of the day out, as OZREG and myself took a drive up to Wagga to grab a long overdue finds for the day. We also managed to grab a nearby series along the way, which added to our numbers. We discovered many great and clever hides and lucky enough to have no DNF's for the whole day. A very successful day, with some laughter and good company.
Thought we might have had to walk into this one but with being late in the day, with only limited light left, we decided to try another approach and were rewarded with getting much closer after traveling along the wet, muddy and very bumpy track. Put the billy onto boil, while we wandered in the last little way and making a quick discovery and signed log, it time to return to make a quick cuppa. Visited a travel bug while here.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the start of 2018 my average was only 47 words per log, which seems along way from the 100 target. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 7000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 50 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.
Thanks Roostaman for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintainence to keep it in play.

Thanks for the walk mate to the last cache for the day. Happy Feet 1 and myself took advantage of another mildly warm sunny day among a bleak wintry week to grab more than a few caches. I always enjoy touring unseen places such as this region.
We would like to thank the Cache owner for placing and maintaining them for us to find. Yippeee no DNF's today.

Hi there Roostaman.
We found your cache **"Black Forest Central"** today. (This makes our find count 19351).
We cached around Ganmain today. We didn't really have a plan, but the aim of the day was to cache along a road we haven't traveled on since we became full time grey nomads. (We can now draw another line on our map).
We enjoyed our day caching, the walks and dirt road drives were really good. Thanks also for placing a large cache container here. It made us feel really glad to find a large, kid friendly cache (with swaps) here.
We found 9 caches today (DNF'd 0) & thoroughly enjoyed our cache raid. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
***Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book is in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Went out to check out the cache in the Matong State Forest, took a bit of exploration since the main track into the forest was totally flooded, was able to find my way in along some other trails no problem, good cache hidden away in a neat little spot, shame i did not get to see the ammo box but the replacement tin is working a charm, I did not take or leave anything but i did sign the logbook!
Thanks for the great location, a nice peaceful spot 99% of the time with the exception of a large Hippy Convention once a year which leaves the area smelling like Drugs for a month afterwards, But this time of the year perfect! Thanks again!

Thanks to info from RiverinaRelics the cache is now missing a container.
It will be a while before I get there again, so if the next finder could spare
a temp container until I get there it would be much appreciated.

After a phone call from Roostaman, we decided to do a caching trip to Narrandera and Leeton.
We traveled along a lot of bus tracks and around the lovely towns, picking up a good variety of hides.
All cache signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Roostaman, for us and others to find.

Found it on a warm afternoon with Geodog Ace who got lost in the forest.
Hitch a Ride visited.
No container? Just a bunch of snap lock bags.

[:(!] Went for a morning caching run and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was located and it was in hand in a matter of minutes.

We were camping in the forest with several hundred other people while attending the Burning Man Festival recently. This cache was just a few clicks away from camp and we set off through the forest. It was a great walk even if the gps jumped around a bit. Thanks Roostaman
I loved the extensive bush walk to locate this one. While it was easy to find once you get to GZ, the zig-zag walk through rough bush was fun as we looked for open areas for the GPS compass to settle on a direction. Apprentice geo-Ned had the GPS and led the way. Just as much of a challenge was getting back to the car which I had failed to locate with a way-point. Bad practise. We had a lovely picnic nearby next to a dam - fire and all on a fabulous winter day. Thanks Roostaman.
#740 found during day 231 of the continuous caching odyssey. This was in a very nice location however not that scenic but after doing some of the more challenging bush caches around wangaratta this one was a walk in the park as the undergrowth was not there and the ground flat. The cache container was still in great condition and was replaced as found that is the way we do it.
Thanks Roostaman for another of you caches I can now tick of the list.

265. A nice drive and short walk for this one. Found with Relish64 and the extended geofamily. This one makes me wonder, why this particularly spot here and not that one or that one or that one.................................. TFTC.
"Lets just grab this one....and that one", at this rate we'll be back in Albury tomorrow!
Must say we only made one wrong turn getting to the cache before a quick dash to GZ! Love a good size container!
Can't say I like Black Forrest, Mud cake is better!
Having said that a nice bit of bush to have a drive around on a sunny day!
Glad GeoKid stopped in the car for this one as he would have taken the whole box!!
Many thanks for sharing this spot with us Roostaman! Cheers!

tftc well if you check Hinklenators log you will find all the info for the day, talk about blackForest, this blonde hinco is Black and Blue all over and a little sorry for the wear and tear, my own fault of course, at least hinklenator had a laugh, .Actuall we nearly got lost, lucky we had Hinco's GPS in hand.
TFTC, had an adventure getting to this one, after navigating the tracks and having to dodge the trees and bog holes, had to back track a bit, eventually found a track getting close to GZ. Then our way was blocked by a fallen tree, I got out to have a look, and before I knew it geo mum had decided to move the large tree by grabbing one of the small branches on the top of the tree. I think she thought she was superwoman, as she pulled it back it got to the point where she could no longer hold it against the flexing of the tree, she then flew backwards with the release of the branch, stumbling with about ten quick steps, tripping on the side of the road, landing on her back. Thankfully she has strong bones and did not break anything. After I moved the tree and driving around the tree, we discovered that we did not need to go past it. After a short work through thousands of spider webs we arrived at the fully stocked cache. I'm glad that we had geo dad's gps as it had tracks to get back to the car, otherwise we would still be wandering around in the forest. Found with hinco
Thanks Roostaman for the adventure.

Mungo Trip 4. A longer drive in this part of the forest. Plenty of tracks to see and pass by. All the tracks I wanted were in my Garmin. The walk in the grass seeds here was a bit longer, but again no problems digging out the cache at GZ. Thanks.

Found in the company of McPhan and Winglen whilst on a caching mission westward. My introduction to how easy it could be to get lost in a scrubby environment of no large trees to climb and no hills to get a view. Not an arduous hike, just that everything looks the same - apart from the areas that have been flattened by the giant bulldozer. Enjoyed the experience, thanks Roostaman.
2284. yes. it probably was. There certainly was no easy way in according to the combined McWinTrex GPSs. A stroll into scrubby bush that meant the bif=ggest problem was that we hadn't marked the car.

Garmin maps had real difficulty here determining which tracks were real, so we took the long way around before making it to the cache, and then a short walk in. This cache sure seems in the middle of nowhere, but it is always nice to see an ammo box, full of swaps too. TNLN. Thanks Roostaman.
Or irst cache after braking camp this morning ! what a beaut drive in a forest, we found our way to as possible, under 200 mt's and legged it from there, cache was found quick sticks, then found that I was not track logging so could not track back, doh.
So follewed the arrow but in reverse and came out on the road not quiet where I should but found the bullet anyway ! Good cache Rosta, thanx

It seems it has taken me a while to get to this one, especially considering its proximity to home, in fact until recently it was second on my "nearest unfound" list. The lure of an FTF in the area got me moving today, and while in the neighbourhood, I did a loop and cleaned up the last of my stragglers on this side of the river.
Accurate coords made for a quick find. It is a shame about the damage to the area, as it is otherwise a nice little bit of bush.

Good hiding spot, and a nice stop over between wagga and young, Thanks for the hunt.
Decide to park the car and do a bit of bushwalking, lovely spot. Strange looking track, anyone know what they are from? Geohusband is curious, boys and their toys haha. Thanks for the hunt and the quality swaps. Took matchbox landrover left DVD.
Found in company with baby and Mrs Gopher on a warmish day caching.Whilst the Rock clan waited in the 4WD,the farmers made a zig-zag the the GZ area. After a few minutes ,lady farmer came up with the goods. Nice sized cache and well hidden in the exact centre of the forest. Thanks to the invite to the region.TNLN.
Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1545.Seems we took the same trail as Big Matt no problems with the find.As there has been some rain in the area the container has been drowned in a puddle but all ok inside. This is the first time Mrs gopher was able to put enough trust into the GPS'r to back track to the vehicle. We much appreciate the opportunity to have been in this place. On the way in saw a youg Wedge-tailed Eagle and as we left saw a pair of rare Grey Falcons flying in the sunlight. The tracks have been left by a machine that is used to cut and trim the trees at the same time.Left Hi-liter and badge.Took a ball. TNX Roostaman for the cache.
OK, it's dark in a state forest that you don't know, should be easy! We amazingly drove in the SW side of the forest and then turned left into the correct track and managed to park 200m to the SE of the cache. I left Shell in the (locked) car and speared off into the darkness. The tracks are odd, it isn't a bulldozer it must be some sort of logging vehicle. Anyway I got to the GZ and panicked when I saw the destruction at what my GPS thought was the GZ but soon came up with the cache and headed back to the car crossing about 8 tracks on the way out.
Thanks Roostaman for the cache now how the hell do we get out of here?

After reading some of the previous logs we felt we'd been lucky to fluke the right track which headed to the cache. As we parked as close as we could to gz we noticed some heavy machinery had been in the forest ripping up a lot of trees. As we got closer to gz our trepidation grew so we really pleased to see it was still safely tucked into its hiding spot and had escaped any damage. TNLN. Thanks Roostaman.
Found at 0920. Well...what a drive this is in order to get to GZ. Praying that my GPS map had me going the right way, I followed it until it said to turn right....where there was no where to turn right. So I kept going in the hope there would be a right turn somewhere, and about 5 minutes later there was. So then...just a right... then a left... then a right...or was that left... then right... then left then....um. Anyway, the cache was found and the drive through this area was great. How on earth did you come to find this spot? Thanks Roosta!
