A quick check today and it's gone. So with all the changes to the area since being placed, including a daycare centre near GZ, it's time to say goodbye to this one.
Thanks to all that visited.

Searched under all the lomandra bushes as per a previous geocacher's clue. Nothing like a geocache but we did find heaps of toys - cars, motorbikes, balls, blocks - threw them all over the school's fence.
Think the cache may be gone, used to be exorcise equipment here which now is not. To close to the day care center for me to hang in around to long
Nice and quiet here today and after a bit of searching the cache was found. Did not bother trying to show my prowess on the equipment though. TFTC Konie.
We had just bought some ice creams from the nearby IGA to enjoy on the walk to this cache. I picked an old favourite, the Have-a-Heart. I'm not sure if it is still called this but that overpriced bit of ice-cream was enjoyable none the less.
The area around GZ was a little damp so we searched like we were wearing million dollar shoes. After a while we hadn't found much and things were looking dire. The sugar rush then kicked in and I decided I wasn't leaving without a find. I got some mud on my shoes and came up with the goods. The geodaughter was surprised because it was in an area she had looked over. Nothing counts like extreme experience. tftc

Nope started to look but the kiddies asked what I was up to. So decided it was time to bail.
Seriously not sure we should have caches this close to a child care centre. [?]

I flew up here (from where I live - Canberra) the day before, and had this one day up here before my parents and I flew to NZ for a holiday together ... and it just happened to be Mums craft group day - so we both went - and Mum was nice enough to stop somewhere on the way so I could find a daily Geocache ... there were a couple hours of daylight still left when we got back home ... so I borrowed Mum's bicycle and went for a ride around the streets/etc nearby and found a few more
TFTC - came down the path to grab this one before dashing back for dinner - seeing it was now nice and dark and late (too dark to find Little Mountain Common, or the 2 Wesso caches in between, with just my phone as a torch ... not logging those as DNFs now because they were not missing, and I didn't really look that hard ... I was tired, recovering from a bad cold/flu, and was in a hurry because Mum was wondering when I was going to be home for dinner - lol) I was going to grab this one the day before, while walking past with Mum, but the day care place was crawling with kids and parents who might have been just a little concerned at some weird woman poking around in the plants ... lol
Also - sorry about the (extremely) late log ... I was going to catch up with all the logging when I got back from my holiday ... but I wasn't expecting to totally fall apart as soon as I went back to work, spend several months off work with a stress disorder, and also end up getting diagnosed with Autism (yes - at age 54!) ... which was actually the "spanner in the works" that explained a lot of the stress thing ... So - I guess I could say my life got rather ... er ... interesting! lol
But ... with all that going on - I somehow managed to keep my streak going while in NZ, and afterwards, while I was falling apart and putting myself back together again - Geocaching was actually really good "therapy" for me and I ended up finding at least one cache/day for 403 days in a row

Went to the posted coords, had good look around but with the child car near by elected to bail on this one.
Hmmm?
Definitely the wrong time of day to be coming here for a search.
Kids everywhere & Mums & staff as well.
Walked the path to at least check out GZ but no go.
Eyes everywhere including two young ladies walking towards me who just happened to work on the other side of the fence & were calling to their counterparts.
All eyes were in my direction.
A weekend or night run is needed.

All nice and quiet on a Saturday - no kids in sight. Threw some Lego bricks back through the fence for them. TFTC Konie
Too many muggles, school let off time.. John very uncomfortable to be lurking in preschool area.
Rummaging around less than 2m from a childcare yard full of kids is not ideal. Not my cup of tea, but thanks for placing it. I understand this centre may not have been adjacent when the cache was placed
Found at 1400.
A walk and grab cache
I like this area, very quiet on Easter Sunday.

Found it number 8 for the day, with red dwarfs and electroman and found these sus looking people in a big red geo mobile
Took a bit of digging on the hands and knees but we got there eventually. Thanks Konie
After the "Birthday Bash" event we headed out to find some caches.
Another quick find whilst in the area, we signed the log and replaced as found!!

Having decided it was just a tad warm for any daylight caching activity. Departed home just after dark do do some night caching in the Caloulndra area. A quick find in what seems to be a nice little wander around a pretty little lake..
Thanks for the great cache and adventure Konie

1959, Alone with an acoustic guitar and tape recorder in his New York City apartment Buddy Holly made his last recordings, including ‘Peggy Sue Got Married’, ‘Crying, Waiting, Hoping’, ‘That's What They Say’, ‘What To Do’, ‘Learning The Game’ and ‘That Makes It Tough’. The recordings would be overdubbed posthumously and were later released by Coral Records.

Took a little finding on hands and knees a poke in the eye for all the trouble to finding the geocache. GPS sent me around in circles. Took the hint and assessed the site. Had a sit kept putting gps down till 0 metres went over checked area that had previously searched. But after all I did enjoy the walk from a friends house, didn't, see the swans but a lot of red and white billed ducks were duck diving for food amongst the water lilys
Apart from being beautiful, the swans provided a convenient muggle distraction! TFTC
Loved the mumma and bubba swans that visited us as we looked. Another great find with EggZachary
Found it great hide love this cashe it is a bit smaller than the photos show!!!
We could have walked quicker from our earlier finds to this one but decided to drive to be closer to others deeper in the Bellvista estate. What a mission - the smartphone navigator kept trying to send us down the easement between suburbs that we had just walked along not accepting that it IS NOT A ROAD! Finally giving up on the navigator and trying to decipher the map, we battled through the maze of roads and found ourselves very close to where we had been before.
Great park with a beautiful lake - a shy spoonbill wading nearby and a not so shy pair of black swans with their little fluffy cygnet ( not an ugly duckling at all!).
Lots of construction going on behind the fence right at gz so not very peaceful today. After the initial cursory search came up with nothing, we sat down and contemplated the clues. Finally grabbed it hopefully without the worker muggles noticing.
Thankful also not to have to reach too far into the lomandra.
Looks like the new building is a childcare centre, so I'm sure how the position of the cache may remain a secret when lots of inquisitive children are peering through the fence. Position may need to be adjusted slightly.

Out on the way home from work at night. Evidently the other 'Dwarfs' have had a big day of it. I just had to contribute. Took a little while in the dark but stubbornness powered my resolve until the cache could take no more and gave itself up. Tftc Konie
Today we headed towards Coloundra, dropping into some of the many new subdivisions looking for geocachers.
After a lunch break by the beach, we followed the coastline for awhile, admiring the ocen views as we continued our hunt.
We found some very inventive caches in some great hides, in many places we have never visited before.
We wandered over from the shopping centre to locate this cache. It was just where the hint said it would be.
Thanks for placing this cache Konie

My "Project Wesso Family Caches" did include a few notable ring-ins, such as this one by the famous Konie. I had a look here and there and eventually found it in a sensible place. I was a bit worried about the lomandras for a while but thankfully you weren't that mean Konie! Nice location for riding and relaxing.
Went to the spot that matched the description, hint & photo but couldn't find it after a lot of searching & lifting. Will have to try again
another great little find. great for geokids!

This was our first fund took a little bit of work and hade to wait for a few muffles to wander past good work all the same
Managed to find a few too many spikes off the plants! But finally found it, beautiful spot
I am sorry to say that this was my first and only DNF for today... I had a good look but had to be-careful as there we a few wondering Muggles around.
Don't you worry my sweet little cache, I'll be back to get you... You can't hide forever!

Checked this one today and it had been muggled. Found part of the old container in the bushes near the pond.
Cache replaced and ready to go again.
Happy caching!

My first fun-day out caching with IolantheK! Still, learned a lot while having fun.
Peacefull Vista wasn't so peacefull today, but that must have been because of the weather. So many muggles about, we had to constantly hide behind the bushes.
We both had a good look for the cache, as my buddy roughly remembered her find from way back. She even P.A.F.ed, but... no luck. The size of the container is not one one can overlook, so I would say that it perhaps has been muggled.

What a great spot.. some muggles around so pretended to do some exercises on the nearby equipment. Then sat on nearby bench to sign the log and enjoy the view.

Certainly has a lot of names in there today

After attending the nearby event organized by the Wesso Family we came around here to find this and another couple of nearby caches. This was our first and there wasn't a soul around which made it easy to hunt down the cache. Thanks Konie for the cache here in this lovely park. We signed the log and rehid the cache and resisted to try the bars. [^][^]

Approached GZ with Wombles to see a shifty looking bunch of people right near we had to go Seems another group of cachers and children were already searching... apparently in all the wrong places as I found within seconds of being at GZ.... seems Jimmyproject was suffering a bit of cache blindness on this one.... I enjoyed some puppy pats before Wombles and I made our way back to the nearby event
