Found it on a sunny autumn day while traveling down to the snowy mountains. A nice quick find but the container was water-logged and the log book was saturated, managed to sign but will need to be dried out. Great views away from muggles. TFTC
Quick stop revive survive on the way from Sydney to a Canberra meeting. I probably shouldn't have attempted in my suit. But grabbed it all the same

Found on the way to Canberra this morning with Bad Jedi.
After a long drive these road side stops are great to Stop Revive and Cache When we stopped in the car park there was one of those cheepo rental campers parked there with 2 girls one sitting at the driver's seat watching us and the other standing outside the passenger door using the mirror to put on makeup. We walked off down to gz to sign the log and they were leaving as we returned.
Thanks for all the information about our heroes of war who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Thanks for yet another informative rest stop, Big Matt and Shell.
As with previous finder, cache is a bit wet inside. Didn't have the time to fix it up today. Perhaps the next finder can bring supplies ?

Been meaning to stop and grab some of these ones on my way through, and my need to use the facilities helped a lot.
Cache was water logged inside and unfortunately the previous cacher didn't seal the plastic bag. Log book was slightly damp but still usable. Emptied water out if the cache and did my best to dry out the book. Unfortunately I didn't have anything spare in the car to Help water proof this one.
Thanks for the reminder about those who gave so much

Thanks for the cache in such an interesting location. Gentle rain hopes the sheep like it! Quick easy find this time, last time there was a big caravan with a dog on a chain that prevented any searching. The lid wasn't on properly so everything was wet inside. Need to make sure it's on properly next time. Legs well stretched onto Canberra!

Streak day 500 now achieved.
The first time in all the caches I have found that a cache had been wombatted instead of muggled. Gets a favourite soley for that. Made sure the little square territorial markers where back on top when leaving.
Quick find after arriving at the geo landing pad.

I was originally going on a free 4 day cruise from Sydney to Melbourne via Hobart for work, but it got cancelled at the last minute.
The flight to Sydney and from Melbourne had been bought so I changed plans and turned the break into a 5 day geocaching road trip.
I narrowed the zillion caches between the two cities by only concentrating on 'unusual' cache types, ( letterbox, wherigo, earthcache, virtuals and caches that would help me towards completing the Jasmer Challenge).
Day 2 of the road trip had me heading down the coast past Illawarra through on again / off again showers. Right down to Port Kembla in the sunshine Then over the range through cloud and pelting down rain. And finally along the highway to Canberra in the blazing sunshine.
Now this rest stop has two caches. So I had to stop here.
Thanks for the cache.

Great hiding spot out of the way from muggles. Drove almost to it. Love the quickies.
Our only cache stop back to Sydney from a day in Canberra. Geokids had fun here and found it pretty quick. TFTC

Found during my stay in NSW. First week we were at Sydney, since I went there to attend a conference. We did quite a lot of walking around this astonishing town. Most of the caches were just small mint boxes or nanos, but that is to be expected in such a big city. I'm especially thankful for all the bigger caches that were easier to find, since my time for the geocaching was somewhat limited.
After the first week we rented a car and went to explore the NSW national parks. Since the Blue Mountains were closed due to bush fires (hope all is well now), we went a 1000km to see Mungo park. We saw a lot of kangaroos, emus, wombats and some koalas in the wild. On our way back to Sydney we visited Canberra and some beautiful parks north of it. We enjoyed the drive-in view that allowed us to see more beauty in shorter time. We spent last day in Royal National Park where we fooled around at a beach and in the waves. We did a short walk on a cost track, which showed as how beautiful the ocean and the coast really are.
Unfortunately, we had to head back to our country ;-( I hope we get to visit NSW again some day.
Thanks for every cache there.

One of the clips on the container has broken off, so container can't be sealed shut anymore.

This was a very modern rest stop, with a stop, revive, survive centre set up for the weekend. We drove almost up to the cache, passing a poor guy who seemed to have completely shredded a tyre somehow.
One of the clips is broken on the container, so it doesn't seal properly anymore.
Left a trackable, thanks

A quick stop in this service area to bag the two caches here, no problems with the first.

With all the others now refusing to even bother leaving the car I decided that this would be the last one for the day.

A small pitstop made on the way home from a symposium in Canberra. Worked out well, the fog covering Lake George was intense. TFTC.
Had to come down to Canberra to see my brother and go to the military shop in Fyshwick. Gots of cool Air Force stuff and some fun caches.

Interesting bit of trivia, I teach one of Warrant Officer Wheatley's descendants, his family donate a history book to our school library each year.

Got up early, and was headed Canberra way to visit a friend for a nice, relaxing Saturday night. What better way then to get a few caches along the way!
Thanks guys, a lot of effort has gone into making these not crowded, and all good locations

Tried this one a couple of years back in snake season. Not so edgy today, but it took a while for the GPS to settle down on the right area. Thanks for the excuse to stop a little while
Great quick find unlike the other one I can't find which is saved for next time. TFTC
Geodad needed a rest stop between Belanglo State Forest and our next campground in Canberra so we pulled over to this rest stop, only figuring out there were two caches there after we got there. What a bonus! Went for a little walk to stretch the legs. This cache was a much quicker find than the other one we found in the series, Gordon. TFTC.

Found on the way home to canberra after a Sydney day trip. After finding the previous cache in the series (Badcoe) late in the evening, and being impressed by the performance of my new Led Lenser torch enabling me to find it, I decided to nab this one. Pulled up in the car near GZ and excitedly made my way to the cache, where I nearly ran into a huge orb weaver spider face first! Arrrgh! Lucky I had just stopped to get my bearings otherwise I would have worn it! Anyway, dodged hairylegs to follow the geotrail for the easy find. TNLNSL. Thanks for another one, Big Matt and Shell
Knew I wouldn't have a lot of time to cache this morning but wanted to get one of this series.
Typical cacher, hard way in easy out. Made a quick find, cache looks good.
