I headed through the muddy underpass on the bike track today to reach GZ.
And after all the recent rain the track to GZ was underwater [:o]
I waded on in anyway
And at GZ found all manner of weird stuff !!
Looks like some local twits ride dirt bikes around in this area (when it's drier).
Even a little shelter has been fashioned from junk.
Needless to say ... a cache was not found

No luck and if i had checked the DNFs before we headed off to this one i would have taken a replacement in with me.
Out with 3lg for a days caching. Looked in every singe possible location then read past logs and only then did we notive the long string of DNFs. Co may need to check on this 1.
Looked for this one on my way out from the McKee Clan trail, I did not feel comfortable looking around this site and soon left.
Had a look and sent the CO a message to asking to attend this cache. Will keep an eye on it.
Didn't feel safe here, a lot of rubbish & rubble lying around. It also looks like someone is living here in the bush. Looked for awhile but didn't linger.
Nice quick find on my path to 700! #688. Tftf
Log book wet, was able to sign but dont have anything to replace with.

Quick find on the way out of town for a geohunt! TFTC TNLN SL (cache and contents are wet)
With the caching bug biting, I thought that I would clean up some of the caches I had in the general Salisbury area. I have needed to finish off the LPT for sometime now and seeing as I am cleaning up what better time to do it then today.
lol, I had to take the long way around as some inconsiderate person has dump dirty, great big piles of dirt here.
Number 8 of 13 for the day

Found by The Boofs TFTC ☺. Tried to wrap some plastic around the cache to keep dry short term.
Found the hole and thought I might have a lean in and look. Not that I am a cave explorer. My hat and water bottle fell in so I had to retrieve. Wish I had a gun because the spiders were huge.
Found the cache a in little oacis of its own. The container needs replacing. Cache is not water logged yet but will be next rain.

Found the hole, then found the cache. Looks like ground works for construction of sorts is starting to take place around here. GZ may soon disappear... TFTC
Container isn't in the best shape but contents are dry. My partner & daughter found it. Watch out for the hole
This was our second attempt at this one, the first time the GPS would not settle and had us in the wrong spot. The container is very badly cracked and unfortunately we didn't have a spare. TFTC
Found whilst out bike riding. Container is a little worse for wear but contents dry. TFTC
Sorry i cracked the container pretty bad... log and everything in good condition...
After my stupid gps having me walk around in circles finally found it but u fortunately the container was brittle i cracked it even worse sorry.

Passing by today on the way to the wetlands, so stop to find your cache. No one around on a week day and an easy find was made. Also found the “Hole” – could be real nasty at night! TNLN SL Thanks for the cache.
Trotted out Sunday morning to see what might be hiding in this field.
No horses, no snakes, aha - tftc

Final cache of the day and a quick find.
Thanks for the cache Flippers.
I didn't see a trackable in this cache. Since it's been some time since the trackable was placed here I'd say that it has unfortunately gone missing. As the owner of this cache you can mark the trackable as missing. This action will remove it from the cache inventory and place it in the great cache in the sky.

Pretty wet out here after the evenings downpour. Still an easy find though. Good stuff!
Easy find while out introducing someone to geocaching.
sorry about the late log.

Geodad found our 3rd for the day. Took marbles left slinky, eraser and butterfly. TFTC
Gotcha!
Rain was forecast for later in the day, so to keep the August streak running, an easy on-the-way-to-work drive-by was needed. Not too many of those left for me, unfortunately. But this one was not too much of a diversion.
I've lived in Adelaide for over 20 years now, but I've never been this close to the trotting track before now.
Thanks guys.
ZZzz..
Quick and easy find. Thanks for the warning about the hole in the ground - looks dangerous! SL TN left a badge. TFTC

TFTC - A quick find on the way home.
This area is definitely not the place to be wandering around in the dark.

A quick cache after the sunday markets. I remember coming here when I was young it was a place of much energy. I do hope it reclaims its former glory yet again. thanks Flippers for the cache

out for our now fortnightly cache trip on the way to the crows with swanky126. TFTC!
After completing the Little Para Trail today, we decided to pick off a few more caches in the area. This was the last find for the day, which also just bumped us over our previous day's record. Mr Jedi headed towards GZ to make the grab, and came back victorious after a minute. Thanks for the hide, Flipper & Co!
Probably not the best idea to go looking for this one in my work clothes before work after a solid days rain! Not where I thought it might be. Was a slight hike in to the scrub. Slightly muddy after rain. But a nice fun hide.
Found It!
Quick find while on my way to the cito event. Lots and lots of ants at GZ...

Spy Gecko is our team made up of spyjordy and Purple Gecko for the scouts geocaching competition. Thank you for placing caches that assist us during this competition. TFTC SL
Found on a nice night out caching, when I seen that there was a hole to look out for I though it meant just a dug out hole someone would trip over, when I got there I realized what you meant by "look out for the hole" it was a lot bigger than once thought, tftc
Easy find despite dodgey GPS.
A bit reluctant to retrieve though, at least until the cache guardian (a 1.5m black snake) slithered off into the undergrowth. BEWARE!
Took TB. TFTC.
