it has walked out of the park. Hate DNF any time but when a missing cache is not archived I think it is disrespectful of fellow cachers.
Came from Tassie to find it.

As we were hunting for this one we ran into a helpful local cacher who informed us that the cache had been destroyed along with its hiding spot. We were wondering if the owner recognises the location in the attached photo as what used to be GZ.
Found a box of matches first and thought that could be it.After everyone laughed at me I found the correct cache! Took out pen and put in army man.
Thankfully no one in the park and even more thankfully no one in the nearby back yards. Muggle Jason nailed this one - not bad on his first geocaching outing. Picked up the "From Adelaide to Rothenburg" coin to take north.
Found with the Reluctant Companion on a trip to the Sunshine Coast. Very nearly gave up as like another finder the GPS was way out. TFTC.
Took way longer than it should have to find this, but I'm blaming my GPSr.
Local kids in area but we were more smart.
Learnt that years ago - had to with kids.

Was unable to find cache today, no muggles but was eaten alive by mosquitos after only a few minutes so retreated back to the car! Maybe next time.
Did not find after two snoops and thorough log investigation, even the Collie was no help. Maybe the muggles have nicked it?
Tried this one twice. First time gave it away do to dancing kids in the neighbouring house yard, Second time just could not get a good lock and failed searching.
Chimpa and I searched long and hard for this one and I think we must have been missing the obvious. We will try next year when we are up this way again.
No luck with this one this morning. Searched a fair few spots. Decoded the hint and realised the coords must have been a bit off, since GPS clearly placed the coords as a large area of empty ground. In the end, had to go. Might try this one again next year.
Last time we went to find this one we were eaten alive by mosquitoes. This time we went back mid afternoon. An easy find once we found the correct tree. Lovely little park. TFTC.
I think this one may have been muggled. Had a good long search and turned up nothing. Oh well.
Couldnt find tonight,
GPS would not give me any sort of accuracy,
shall try again with my new gps later in the week

Mrs Coffee and I were starting to think that this cache may elude us today as even after using the hint we were still unable to find it. With limited time available we had decided to move on when I saw something out of the corner of my eye and sure enough there was the cache
Thanks for the cache

Visiting my sister for the weekend and took her for a walk. Explored many little parks including this one. Helpful sis found the cache. TFTC
Have driven past this park many times going to the boat ramp. Nice to have a reason to drop by. TFTC
Too many muggles looking over from their gardens for a really good search. Lucky them to have such a big back yard!
Found with the help on the family, disorentated by the previous cache i was blind to the norms of geocaching, Courtney found it once again didnt take long about 15 mins
TFTC
Took: super ball and plastic frog,"need a hint" geopin and the "compass rose" GC
Left: "Cache of the titans" GC, and 3 Swag items.

Catching up with logs for caches I found with Sidewaze before I got my own account. TFTC
Found it - - - with just a little help from the "interested observer". Made a mental note to memorise the size of the cache I am looking for in future as that way, I could have eliminated some of what might otherwise have been suitable hiding places.
Left Compass Rose 101 to continue its travels.

Found this one on our week of caching at the Sunshine Coast. All the trees here had our GPS bouncing all over the place - goodness me there is a lot of leaf litter around here! It eventually settled down, but we were still a little frustrated and about to give up when Marco spotted the corner of the cache. TNLNSL TFTC
Our second one today. Geokid J's first find! Met the border collie, who isn't actually a muggle, but the guardian of the park... he lives nearby. His owner rumbled us, but she's been watching the stream of visitors to the park... she found the cache herself at one stage and has been on-line for a look at what it's all about... we might have another convert there...

A friendly stray dog led us straight to this one, having a sniff around GZ as we approached. Unfortunately we didn't realise that and followed a jumpy GPSr around for a bit first. Thankfully The Marble spotted the cache as I walked straight past with my eyes on the GPSr rather than the area. TFTC
With thunder booming over us and lightning flashing around us, we ran into this one and managed to find it, sign the log, replace the cache and return to the car before the rain hit. TFTC
#799 (6/6 on a Caloundra / Pelican Waters ramble). Muggle border collie was interested in what we were up to. Quick find by Troodles. TFTC.
Took a walk in the park today, but we had sadly left our geodog back in Brisbane.
Cache was found about 10m-15m south of the location that our GPS was pointing to.

Took my dog for a walk to find this one - had to wait until the area was clear, but found it in 15 / 20 minutes.
Very exciting finding my first cache!

Another quick find today before heading home from a few days working on the Sunshine Coast....
This cache too had eluded us as complete newbies at christmas time but added it to our list of finds today....
Was slightly uncovered today making it a bit easier...
Replaced with additional cover so not visible from a distance now...
Signed Log TNLN

The GPS put us a little off the mark but when we thought about it a bit narrowed down the search area and found the cache.
Watch out for poop and an inquisitive neighbour

Found at 0956 with Marg. took a bit to find it because there were a lot of clue object around the GZ, and yet once found it was not that hard to find. quiet little park when we visited it. Cache ok and dry. TFTC.
Found easily with the nearby puppy watching on - at least he was just watching and not barking madly like dogs usually do when you are trying not to be seen TFTC hothead.
My second (or was it third?) visit. Found the cache because the lid was slightly exposed - perhaps by rain or an inquisitive dog. Not in one of the first places you'd look. TFTC hothead.
Took a walk as directed to find this cache. Had my cousin and her fiance in tow. TFTC.
Out hunting with ROAC. Found relatively easily but watch out for the mozzies and furry caterpillars. TFTC.
No dogs today other than our geo-guide-dog puppy, although a hound on the other side of the park objected to our presence.
No muggles so the search was relatively easy once we had the right perspective.

Found with Dannza and yes the Border Collie was guarding the cache. He didn't bark much just wanted to watch. Almost gave up on this one but found it after widening the search area a little. TFTC
Found on second attempt - after giving up a year ago when I was searching for this cache with geoparents. This time, equipped with a good stick (those extendable walking sticks are great for caching!!!), and with grounds rather wet due to the heavy rainfall overnight which left the place absolutely deserted, I found it in the second spot I looked. I'm sure I'd looked there last year!!! Glad to tick this one off the list. Took geocoin. TFTC
Second time lucky for me, must have had the sky gods on my side today as it was in the first place I looked. Why wasn't it like that last time? TFTC.
There were no muggles and no noisy dogs to contend with today, so we could search in peace.
In the end, it still took a little while to track this one down. The GPS decided it didn't want to play, so we ended up searching quite an area before the GeoKid came up with the cache.
No swaps, but we dropped off a GeoCoin.
Thanks for the cache!

Found by Sunshine Toledo, Her Majesty, Jinga and Eff at 12:27pm. THis cache took a few minutes to track down but very quiet here today. TFTC
A nice walk in this quiet park led to several options for the cache. One of these options was guarded by a bearded dragon that I didn't see until I nearly grabbed his tail. They really camouflage very well. Finally found the cache and left a badge, took a keyring. TFTC.
Geonephew ‘Bedmaker’ couldn’t find this one so asked us to have a look on our way around the Caloundra cache trail. We found it quite quickly, despite the GPSr being less than truthful about the location of GZ. TN/LN/SL and said, “hello†to the border collie that guards the cache .
Well this was moz a haven for mozzies – so many they even followed us back to the car 100m from GZ!! Quite an easy find after a bit of looking. TFTC
Missed the entrance off the main road but found a second entrance that gave me a longer walk. The yappy dog started but as I backed up he stopped. Found cache partly uncovered. TFTC
Found this back on Christmas Day, but have been so flat-out with work, etc, since then that I only just thought to log it now!
Hoping to get back up to this area in a couple of weeks to find several others...including a trip over to Bribie's top end.

Did a quick run to try and find this while in the area. It was quite dark (night), and the torch and searching alerted our presence to a nearby muggle, who came out to watch us.
Consequently, left without finding the cache.

This took way longer than was strictly neccessary. First it started to rain and we took shelter under a big tree for a while. Then the short haired Border Collie in the neighbouring yard started wagging and whining and I just HAD to go and give him a bit of attention and then the GPS refused to settle so we danced around for a while before finally lucking on a cache TFTH
I parked the geomobile on the main road and took the stroll to Valentine Park
Along the way I got distracted by the local bakery
So with a very delicious meat pie in one paw and GPS in the other I had a relaxed search for the correct GZ
Doggie over the fence must have been jealous as after a couple of barks, it spotted the pie and just sat there looking at me intently, drooling
Thanks for the cache and walk in the park. It's a lovely little spot that doesn't appear to need mowing [^]

Accompanied with Ozcymru. Lovely park. Search for while until found it phew!. SL. Thanks hothead for organising the cache and hunt.
A Quick find. Cache was quite exposed when we found it.
However, we did spend a lot of time at the location as we had to call out RACQ to replace our cars battery. Fortunately it was a lovely day, we had a soccer ball to keep us entertained and the RACQ came pretty quickly.

Found by Team Ladava 1.45 pm on a extended weekend clean up of the Caloundra caches while visiting from Melbourne to attend a relatives 70th birthday.
The amount of staring by the muggle on the opposite side of the road to where we parked the car was a bit off-putting but the cache was soon in hand in a pleasant little park
TNLN
Our thanks to hothead for the cache.

Well, we got there in the end, rather good fun though, not a bad looking park, thanks for the fun!!

Yes, took a walk in the park but cache proved rather hard to find, a simple but rather effective hide plus GPSr not very stable on the day.
But we did find it and signed the log.

We went for a walk in the park and found a cache. Not quite where I expected it to be. Took stone. Left comb. TFTC.
Seems we wern't too good at spotting this one. Might have been put off by the nearby muggles who'd noticed all the comings and goings and wanted to know what it's all about. When we told them they said they know where to look then and pointed out one of the trees. Future finders, say hello to the muggles who are fully enlightened.
Thanks
Thanks
1130hrs. Easy find by Team Griffo. Now we know why we bring them along. TFTCSL.
Park deserted too wet and dark for muggles, too many trees, almost gave up till I saw a "stick" - and cache. Coords were spot on, TFTC,
Ended up dumping the gp as the cache wasn't in the gz area. Finally with dogs barking and people checking out what the hell i was doing(which i had covered with my folder and report of a fireant nest........the things we do)The cache revealed itself.......the last place i looked ......doh!

Decided to find this one to grab the GC. Bad move at night as the local dogs went off causing the owner to came out looking with a torch. Had to hide behind a tree and wait for things to die down. Took Gc and left a TB. TFTC Sorry for disturbing the peace
Found on an afternoon of caching. Nice easy find after looking around. Took tape measure and left another little tape measure. Thanks for the walk in the park.
I was scathing around some trees when a lady came over and said are you looking for the geocache,... er yes i said, she went on to say that I dont know if anyone has found it, she has seen a few looking. I had a chat for a while and bit more of a search and still came up empty.
