Stopped in on our way past again today to see if any remedial action has been taken but doesn't seem so.
Last find was in October 2012
Last find was in October 2012
Yep couldn't find it looked before checking previous logs but all we found was a mouse
Went for the hunt before realizing it was gone. Perhaps it should be taken off line?
Didn't find it today but really looked in a couple of obvious places only. Very nice water fun playground nearby, geokids should love it.
Quick drive by or a nice opportunity to watch the cricket, BOWLED HIM!

Spent a while looking in the hollow tree... It's not in the hollow tree... Lol
Still trying out my new gps and decided to give it a run after work. A nice straight forward find after waiting for a local mum and kids to leave the park and cross the bridge over past the horse paddocks. TFTC
Nice bridge.
There was a horsey in the yard across the creek however neither it or the rider were watching us.
The cache was a wee-bit exposed so we put it back... deeper.
Found with Emily.

Found on the way home from Gilwell after attending the Scouting Good Service awards & stopped to do a little caching with S4pphire & Cracka1!!

TFTC. Was a very nice day today. Took my daughter driving around the oval and then found it. Accompanied by HALLY31. TNLN.
TFTC. Found the cache today. Was a pretty hard search because there was people on the horse paddock. Had to wait until they had gone :/. I was accompanied by caracanab. TNLN
Found easily this afternoon. Not much happening in the footy oval or the park today. so easy search.
Found this one today. I had previously tried to find this one (with Irontoad) and I had had this one on a watchlist for a while. I am glad that this one has been replaced (as one of the time I attempted it - it was missing). I thought this one was going to defeat me today but I finally found it. Took nothing, left nothing and signed log.
Thanks for the cache mykaat.
Thanks for the cache mykaat.
This was a nice easy find just on night fall and a good way to finish up couple of hours of caching in the area. TFTC
Found it, and when replacing noticed the two muggles having a picnic nearby, but they had their backs to me.
Last time I was here the cache was gone, but this time it was in the first place I looked. A nice easy drive by. Thanks
Hazard of sat arvo caching. Football games. Luckily they're more interested in the action on the field rather than this lone cacher. My second bridge for today. Somewhat amused by the lounge chairs on the back of the ute. Now that's watching footy in style.
Found @1640 #1303
I have previously logged DNF for this sometime ago now and was finally passing by and decided to have another go. I have been watching this one and have seen it was being found. Today it was a quick find, basically walk straight up to and was in the first place I looked. Nice. Glad to have this off the radar.
TFTC mykaat. found a couple of yours today

Found tonight as one of twenty finds during a night cache run which took me through Scoresby, on up to Ringwood and across for some trekking through the Dandenong Ranges. It was quite a mild night and a quarter moon, perfect conditions for caching.
After driving into the recreation reserve and parking the car, I only had a short walk to GZ. Once there and after a short search, I found the cache and signed the log.
Thanks for the hide.

Easy find today at 1335hrs. No-one around so didn't have any trouble. Took penguin left whistle. Logbook very damp but signable rest of contents damp but we have dried them. TFTC
After grabbing some StaceV caches for the day we wanted to fill in a few more smilly faces. This was one of them. The cache was found easily enough. The cache is getting wet and the water damaged items where removed. TFTC
Found today with C@H on a "Awsome Chose Your Own Adventure" Daytime caching run.. We started out the day heading north, I asked Justin how many StaceV caches he hadn't found. He has a neat program on his phone to return the results of which caches we both haven't found.. The answer was 5 so we set about changing that to 0.. With them out of the way we then continued up this way to work through a few Trads, 2 multis and a Puzzle.. Thanks for the cache. Find #2131
Ground zero had been decimated by the council renovations, I found a new and safer place very close to the old spot.

Same as last visitors, had a lot of rain here over Christmas , think it may be gone.
spent abit of time looking for this one today then thought I would check previous logs. This cache needs checking to see if it has not been washed away. Thanks anyway for bring me here
Searched thoroughly around where we thought GZ was, in fact up to 12 meters away but still couldn't find it. Perhaps as previously suggested it has been washed away. Will try again another day.
Went to this cache with Irontoad. We searched every possible spot we could see in this amazing little picnic area but only saw evidence of extensive flooding in the area (up even above the bank height) and I suspect that this cache may have been a victim of the flooding! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news mykaat - I hope I am wrong!
Nice spot not to find a cache. Thanks for introducing my to this spot mykaat.

Today I set myself 2 missions:
- Find 12 Caches to get to the Magical 1000 finds on geocaching.com
- Place the last 5 caches in my new series (Out next week)
Mission Acoumplished
This cache had been bugging me for a while, on two previous attempts I had come up empty. Today, with the cache now in a new location I came up with the goods after a fairly short search.
Thanks to mykaat for the cache. TNLN.

I'm glad to be able to re-open this one without much of a delay, though it's a shame it had to be moved a bit
This is definately MIA. I've located a good new spot quite close to the old hide and will have it set up soon
I had decided to take a day off from work (being such a wonderful day) and try for 50 finds in a day. Ultimately it was not to be for many reasons, including a few DNF's, the need to pick the kids up from school, and some difficult caches. In any event a good day was had by jsmyong55 and myself and this was one cache we were not able to find.
We spent some time looking but could not find it. I suggest with 4 DNF it's time for the owner to check?

Trailrunning had asked me a couple of days before if I was free on Friday for a run. I had classes till early afternoon but once he told me its his birthday and he will be aiming for a 50 cache run, I knew I had to have a go at that, eventhough if it meant skipping class.
Aiming for a 50 cache run with only 7.5 hours was a little too ambitious. Of course we did not manage 50 but I got to about 35 which was pretty good. We had started off well in the start, but a couple of long trail runs, heavy bushwhacking and off-trail hiking really threw us off. It was a lot better slowing things down and enjoying the adventure than racing for time.
Saw a likely hide in which the cache wasn't there. Went to GZ but the cache wasn't there too. Owner should check..

As per previous logs I too did not find this one either. The likly hide at GZ showed no signs of a cache. I believe this one is MIA.
DNF Read the hint looked under every tree went across the bridge. Must admit a nice spot for some tourists like me.The cache owner may need to check if its still there or not ?? cheers from nsw
We followed the arrow to the gpsr 0.
It was on one side of the creek, and all things to hide a cache were on the other side.
We checked all places which matched the hint, but couldn't come up with the goods [xx(]
Maybe another time we're in the area.
Thanks anyways mykaat.

#351 5th of 14 found today on our way to Warburton. Found ok but unfortunately this cache was also wet - all bar 1 of the caches we've found today to this point have been wet. The cricketeers were playing enthusiastically and my car nearly got hit a couple of times while we watched. Thanks for bringing us here mykaat.
On the way home now, cache totally waterlogged and needs maintenance badly. Impossible to log our visit on sodden log book. TNLN ps coords about 5-10 metres out too !
MY 10 year old garmin was messing around with me under the trees and clouds i was walking this way and that way all over the place. I looked in the most obvious place but didn't want to get my hands dirty after just visitng the 'snake' cache. Will come back on a sunnier day when i have more time
nice quick find with noone around looked for this one once before but footy was on so was the horse riders just way too busy to look suspicous but found it in the end thanks tnlnsl
Out caching on a wet day with Xambo4U.
I was a bit concerned about the location of this one, was this in the horse riding property. There was horse shows on today and a few people standing around the far side. Thank goodness we found it quickly and moved on.

Out and about with Toy Car today. It is wet and miserable. Stopped off for a hamburger in the local area and now ready for the afternoon of caching.
Parked at nearby cache and decided to walk across. We thought access may not happen as the horeses practised so close by. Saw the gap and proceeded to retrieve the cache.
Nice easy find.
Thanks for the cache. TNLN

Killing time by myself today I found this cache @ 10:01hrs.
I just pulled into the parking spot and the rain started to come down, so this one left me a bit soggy by the time I got back to the car.
A nice quick find thank God, but it was worth it because I am striving to get to my 200th find today as well as find some nice places to visit when the weather is more favourable.
The cache container was a bit damp inside, but the log was nice and dry.

Found at about 3pm, a couple of horse riders around, but doubt they would have seen the cache. No pen so didn't sign.

Great location. The kids naturally wanted to play in the small playground after locating the Cache.

found @ 16:25 with mum and dad (ross47). #7 of 10 for the day.
As we pulled in and saw how many people there were, I had a strong feeling that we may not have been able to find this one. But I was proved wrong when we got to GZ.
Apart from a few muggle kids and a muggle on a horse in the vicinity, everybody else was looking the other way at the football match.
Dad got to the cache first and while we were signing the log, we watched the muggle on the horse do a couple of jumps.
A great area.

A quick find @ 16:25 in the company of the geowife and emeraldflame. Considering the crowd at the football match this was a remarkably easy find - they were far more interested in the game (which was an absolute whitewash for the home side) than they were in us. We did have a handful of young ones playing by the creek but with the three of us it wasn't difficult to draw their attention away from what we were really doing.
This is a bigger area than I had ever realised. Thanks to mykaat for bringing us here. TNLNSL TFTC

#344 Found at 3.30pm. After just missing LouiseAnn at the previous cache we knew which direction she headed off in. However when we hit "find next closest" in the Garmin we commenced our wild goose chase going 1st one direction and then another. The Garmin thought there was a road where a house was. Eventually we tried a third way and knew we had got the correct way in.....thank goodness. GeoPrincess led us to GZ and soon had located cache - due to our inadvertent running around we missed LouiseAnn again.

Found it just in time for footy training, too many muggles around will have too come back!
mykaat, thank you very much for fixing the cache. It's incredibly sad and frustrating to see so many caches abandoned by their owners, so your quick action is greatly appreciated.
