I too can confirm that I didn't find the cache today, where I didn't find it last visit

Geofillans and I were wondering past here today and decided to have a look and guess what, no cache! We had found it sometime ago and knew where it was hidden. Had a look around just in case someone put it back in the wrong spot. Nothing.
Sorry

Second for the day and a bit of bad news. This one looks like it has gone.. The coffee man noticed the GPS and asked if we were looking for the "treasure". After a long time sitting looking at the view he offered to help and with that, we found that it was no longer in it's hiding spot and nowhere to be seen.
Wow... what a tiny little cache and a great spot to hide it. Didn't have too many problems locating it once the coffee cart vendor left but trying to get it to stick back into place was slightly problematic. Thanks for the cache and our first nano.
There were a couple of muggles that just wouldn't move sat right close to the spot where the cache must have been. After a long wait enjoying the view I moved on.
Girls day out with my enthusiastic muggle friend (theglaive). This was a previous find for me but we were wandering our way back to the city so I thought making her find a nano would be entertaining - and it was . Didn't take her long at all (with a couple of small prompts) - gee If, what's the problem?? BTW - couldn't get the lid off to show theglaive the tiny log.
Found with the help of the hint - no pen so couldn't sign the 'very tiny' log book.
Great spot.
Great spot.
What a tricky little devil. Took a while to find, but the hint worked and with a bit of discreete searching, eventually found it. Must say though, it took longer to reroll the log and get in back inside the cylinder than it did to find it. Need to work on my eye hand coordination if I am going to come accross any more of these.

Well I thought I would start the new caching year with a look for this cache I have been avoiding for so long
Coffee dude wasn't there this morning, so I had the place to myself
Oh this should have been such a simple find
But I didn't
Huh ?
No, I still don't believe it either, sitting at home four hours later, as I type this DNF log

13:45. The coffee dude was there and so was a family of sightseers so I assumed we would have to sight see ourselves for a while but Cyndi with her sharp observation saw it as she approached and acquired it without hesitation as she went past. Our entry completed one side of the log. TFTC Duck! Our third of yours today. Our 100th cache in our first three months.
14:32 Located straight away bit warm trying to put it back together this afternoon
After trekking all around the city, I visited this one as my last attempt. However with some snuggling muggles settled in to enjoy the sunset, I checked only a few spots and headed back to the hotel, very tired and sore, but satisfied. Thanks Brisbane for an enjoyable afternoon of geocaching!
Found with VWNUTS & Gunnie 69.. and Silver Sovereign
What a view...
A fast find... even with a crowd of bike riders nearby...

Stopped off to find this one after City Trippin. Handled with care when replacing it . . . just in case. Great coffee there by the way. TFTC
A great spot to stop on the way from the City Trippin' 2008 event, and the chai was fabulous! TFTC ='.'=
Well, isn;t this the popular cache today... I wonder why with City Trippin just a stones throw away...
This was no challenge for Baroki Scout. VWNuts and I were casually approaching GZ but, too late. Cache was swiftly grabbed by Baroki. Pass the log was the next game before we continued our caching path toward the event.
Cheers

No coffee today . But an easy find. These little guys are way cool. Was a bit paranoid about dropping it though - its a long way down (and then down a bit more - although "The Island" was passing underneath as we signed the log - that might have given someone a nasty fright!). Found in the great company of my own JackyLegs. Thanks for bringing us "over" Duck!, and goodwill to you too - svn07
Found this one on a weekend away to Brisbane CBD. Nice easy nano to find. Pleased we didn't manage to drop this one!
Thanks for the cache.

A permanent muggle presence in the form of a kiosk and what seemed to the whole family running it prevented us from looking properly for this one. Hung around for a while and looked where we could without arousing too much suspicion. Couldn't check what we thought was the most obvious place as this would have invited definate muggle interest. So we left this one for another day. Nice views up and down the river.
The little guy went for a swim .
Thanx to the individuals responsible for owning up.
New cache with log deposited & enjoying the view.
Please take care to keep this one dry.

Found at 0819 on the way to a meeting. Nice spot. Cache Ok log strip nearly out with a few more spot to sign in.
Entered into the book of LEDGIN'S. Glided onto this cache on the way past while doing a city/southbank cycle ride. The River has lots of debris floating in it. Probably why the City-cats aren't running. SL. TFTC
Found with MountainJak today during orienteering in Southbank. Love these little things.
What a lovely view. By the time we got there we really enjoyed sitting down for a look at the view and rest. A tricky little one but so cute. TFTC
Wow it is small... A stronger magnet might have given more confidence, but in the end it was retrieved and replaced (after waiting out some muggles) safely. Had a little trouble getting it open - maybe due to some moisture after the recent downpour. The log was ok to sign though. A great little cache at a great location! Thanks Duck!
The coffee guy was just packing up when I turned up so I continued over the bridge to the gardens to find a couple of other caches, then returned to no muggles. found after looking for a time in the wrong place. Took me ages to extract the log'book' (I left my tweezers home). TFTC
Had a go at this one last week, but to no avail, so went back today as Geofillans reckons he had it worked out.
Quick and easy find when you put your mind to it, and put on your caching goggles.

need to log this as a DNF because Indoaussie, GhostGums and I looked for AGES and couldn't find it... grrr...
Checked the logs... Checked GG's GPSr... NOTHING !!!
sat down to think... NOTHING !!!
bought a coffee to try and divert attention from us... DIDN'T WORK !!!
I can't wait to actually find this one... maybe next time we will actually ask the coffee man for some help, and not shy away, embarrassed, like we did this time...
until next time
Geofillans <><
P.S. to the cacher that came and went just after we arrived (you know who you are with the black bag and light orange shirt) sorry for turning you away on this fine day, but maybe you will have better luck that we did ?!?!

Third find of the night with Sam-Sam, Pyroice42 & Lithium Tea. I'd never seen a nano before - they are freaking coooool!
Cannot believe the ninja-find by LithiumTea I would NEVER have spotted it - especially so late at night when I was so tired.

Nice hide, great unit. We were looking for a while and LithiumTea just walked up to it and grabbed it. Mythical ninja for sure. Nice views and nice hide. TFTC.
3rd and final find for the morning after a relaxing time as a family in the Gardens. I have to admit that I love these nano's, and this was placed well. Doesn't look too out of place with the rest of the surrounds if you're not looking for it, but easily spotted when you know what to search for. Would've loved to stay for a coffee if the time wasn't ticking away on our parking. That Coffee Man must've seen some interesting caching sights - I wonder if he's ever considered the sport? TFTC.
We arrived in the area just on dusk, only to find a muggle sitting exactly where the cache notes said we should, and the batteries in the GPS failing! Turned the GPS off, sat down nearby and started reading the logs while we waited, and waited, for the muggle to leave. After some time, the muggle wanted to give us some religous material which we declined, but he still didn't leave! So we just sat there, chuckling at some of the logs and looking at the views until we finally had the place to ourselves. Now where to start? The GPS was no help but having read the logs, the cache turned up easily enough. TFTC Duck!
Found on the Brisbane Caching Invasion with Steeba and The Rats. I have to thank the man at the coffee stand!

In Brissy for a caching blitz with Steeba and Big Matt. How good is it when the coffee shop man helps you with the cache. Thanks
No 79 of 205 on the weekend caching spree in Brisbane with The Rats and Big Matt & Shell.
Needed the raincoat for this one and needed to dodge all the cyclists and runners. The man at the coffee stand provided some assistance with this one but had I read the notes properly probably would have helped more. A great view and spot. TFTC!

Quite a lovely location for a cache. I've never had a reason to sit here and look at the view before. Thanks for the chance to sit and look. Not a hard find with the clue. My GPSr had me some metres away initially, but all part of the fun. TFTC.
Easily found despite the barrister nearby. It was very pleasant just sitting watching the river flow past on thiswarm spring afternoon - beats being inside working . TFTC
This was our first cache... Great fun to find !
Excellent choice of cache 'container' and a great location.

Quick find by RoryTP, a new cacher - glad we went for this one together, as I probably would have missed it... Love this spot! TFTC
Apologies for the delay in logging - tftc we really enjoyed this one. We had few onlookers, those that did stop by were most interested, but we maintained our obscurity as best as we could. No coffee today.
Accompanied with Ozcymru. We found the cache at 10.05pm. Excellent hide spot. Beautiful view in the night... SL. Thanks Duck! for organising the cache and hunt.
The forth cache of our tour of Southbank. We have only done a couple of micro's but this calls for a new category of nano I can't imagine creating one smaller, a great hide indeed.
Even though it was tricky I added some more paper to the log book as it was full, may pay to remove the old log at some stage.

After so, so long I say Good bye. Nice hide but so, so difficult to find a time to search without muggles. Then again once located one wonders why one was concerned with muggles

This really was a nano! The coffee guy was very helpful and told me where it was not located so from there it was quite straightforward. Coffee was tasty too.

found after a bit of looking. the barrista knows of the caches but claims not to know of its location
Muggle "Nine to Fivers" on their way to work made it hard for me to search for this one.
I'll try again at another time of day.
Thanks anyway.

Another great part of the world. Stopped here not only to take photos but to find the cache!!!! Had to wait a little while for a couple to untangle themselves from each other before we could do a proper search. The GPS took about 4 goes to locate this one, but soon afterwards with the help of Mrs KC and her trusty decoy method (camera)we had it in hand. Eventually the couple asked if we wanted them to take a photo of us!! SL TFTC
Co-ords seemed to have us a fair way off but a check of the obvious places soon revealed the prize. TFTC.
1328. I told you I'd return. This time at the other end of the day and the coffee man was packing up. Luckily McPhanKid wanted gum, as while he was buying it, bored CoolAid made the find. It's lucky he found it as I can be very clumsy.
TFTC the views and the exercise. (Love how the cyclists ignore the speed limit!)

Found it. It was around 6:20 in the evening and all was a bit cool sitting on the middle of the River. Number 27 on the scroll and the 61st find.
Sat down for a few minutes on my way over the bridge from Uni but didn't find it. The coffee shop was closed so no help there. It didn't help that the sun was very glary coming off the water. This was my first solo attempt, so meh.
Found along with a friend Davo after Uni tonight. It turned out to be smaller than I originally thought... TFTC
Found by HawMorFords. The coffee man might be in on the cache but he certainly doesn't know where it's hidden.... in fact, he only knows where it isn't.... which helped us a lot. Cheers, HawMorFords.
Joint effort with mightybent and Smatty. Our first of 10 finds on a very wet cold day. The coffee guy narrowed our search.
Found this cache with Smatty and dentoz. We got a clue from the coffee man that helped us narrow the search down. It was raining so we were happy to find the cache and move onto the next one. Thanks Duck.
Out this morning with Mrs Angermanagement tracking down a few clues to a murder mystery nearby.Took the walk over the bridge in the rain bought a hot choclate enjoyed the view signed the log and moved on to the next murder clue.TFTC.
Hoping to distract the coffee man from our antics I brought us some hot chocolates and entered into a discussion re dark chocolate vs white chocolate for the base of hot chocolate. However after about 20 minutes of scratching around in the pooring rain, he gave us a very small clue (he doesn't know where it is, just where it is not!). Anyway the cache was soon found. TFTC. The hot choloclate was very nice, I would recommend it.
Headed off from the hotel, thinking that it looked clear out. Sadly it was raining, and it rained the whole time I was out.
Poked around for a few minutes before the little fellow was spotted. Wondered if I should open it up in the rain, but there was a sheltered walk area, so did the deed there. Then I struggled to get the log back in.
Great view.
1st of 5 finds for the evening.

Expected a bit of a hunt, but had the cache in hand in no time. A cyclist stopped by to enjoy the view, a coffee and apparently some conversation (with me, who was trying to sign the log). So we ended up chatting away while enjoying the views over the river and city . In the end replacing the cache took much longer than retrieving it . The "coffee guy" is really friendly and makes this cache even more fun !!
Thanks for a great cache

Just so it is clear, the cache owner ... me ... is NOT the coffee guy & I have no affiliations with him or his business. Although, I am glad to see he & everyone is having alot of fun with this one. This hide seems to have increased his business though ... maybe I should approach him, introduce myself & request a share of his profits

Hit this cache with the Olly's!So 8 bodies were in front of the little old coffee shop, looking around like a bunch of bush turkey's.We spied the coffee shop owner sniggering to himself.....AAhh.....Haaaaa! The Olly's geodaughter (with no flies on)then walks up and lays the line ".......so bud...... you been here long?"........he cracked, as there was a restless mob with pitch forks and nooses standing behind her staring at him......... the rest was history.
So the words out, if your frustrated and you buy a coffee, secret squirrel may blab a clue!A great laugh and a great cache location.TFTH
PS he won't give to much away!
