We continued today our tour of several AUS states in the NorthWest and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Multi-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging. Thanks to Team Beaufort for the generation of this nice cache Chinese Curry (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. After QOGM 2023 in Longreach, TBU went on a round trip via Mount Isa, Cloncurry, Burketown, Karumba, Ravenshoe, Atherton Tablelands down to Innisfail to Townsville. Then we were heading towards South back home, still refreshing our memories and collecting smileys. It was a nice variety of hides and we bumped into couple of cachers on the way. We stayed in Cloncurry and collected couple of caches. Thanks for this cache,Team Beaufort
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa Visiting Cloncurry for a few days. After visiting the dam we stopped in here, probably not the correct order but GZ is worth two visits. Tftc

Checked out the Chinese grave site. Then, head of to get our smile It took us some time ti find the cache as our phone was playing up. We were just about to give up when we got the phone to settle.. We were glade to signe our name on and old cache. Great views from here. Tftc.

Departed Melbourne the other day and travelling north for the winter, well, for the northern warmth actually (hopefully ), passing through as many small towns as I can grabbing the odd cache here and there as I travel. Leaving Kynuna this morning and heading north west before heading back east again hoping to find somewhere for the night just Cloncurry and Hughenden, ended up at Julia Creek. I'll be heading out first thing in the morning to Cloncurry before doubling back east
I was almost goint to walk to GZ, then I realised where it was, thank god I didn't head off, it's bloody hot!
Quick find once I got to the right spot

Got to town a little early for the bottle shop to be open, so we headed here instead. Photos taken then proceeded to explore the area a little more. Thanks for bringing us here.
Very nice views from up here. It was nice to see the sun setting as we found this cache. Thanks for placing.
Not really hunting caches today. Stopped at the cemetery with visiting relatives and when ‘oh yeah, a cache’. Then when back to the final spot where we had just left.
After having lunch at the parking WP we wandered over to the cemetery to find our numbers for this cache.
The sums all worked well and we soon had ourselves some new coordinates.
A beautiful view at GZ looking across the town and to the river.
The cache was soon found thanks to your good hint.
Thank you.

Having done my research last night through the wonders of Mr Google I was able to head straight to GZ, which provided an excellent view. Despite the age of this cache the coords were still bang on and the extra hint provided a foolproof method of super quick location. Everything was in great condition and I was able to quickly sign, replace and continue on my way.
We arrived in Cloncurry yesterday, and visited the waypoint to collect the information. At that stage it was dusk, so we decided to wait until today to make the find.

A nice quick solve on this multi and relocated to the final, a few people around but no one watching me, I found the coordinates to be spot on and lined up perfectly with the hint.

The coords were spot on as was the hint. The views were perfect, The sky was blue and there was a mild breeze, perfect. Thank you for placing this cache for us to find.
There were so many reasons to make this one of our caches for today. The sun was shining and the sky was a brilliant blue. The view was magnificent and very clear. To top it off for me was the fact that it was an older cache. Thank you for placing this cache and maintaining it for so long.
Day 12 of our adventure to Townsville Mega, I noticed that wazza9 found this cache in 2011, when I didn't have an account then, but I remembered where we got the information, we returned today to get the required information, then off to GZ, quick find signed log and returned. Thanks to Team Beaufort.
Finally Found It, Did Need A Little Help From A Fellow Cacher. Daughter Spotted It Before I Did
first we paid our respect and gathered clues. Went to an amazing place! Had a rest here after too, the cache is nicely hidden
Hi there Team Beaufort.
We found your cache **"Chinese Curry"** today.
We're full time grey nomads, currently avoiding COVID hot spots on our way to QOGM in Cunnamulla. Today we cached around Cloncurry and found 9 caches in a variety of container types and sizes (& DNF'd 0).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache near where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The cache was UV damaged and very brittle so we made the repair and restored the cache to good health.

Found during a trip from Adelaide to the northern tip of Australia and back. Traveling up solo along the Strzelecki Track to Innamincka, then through central Queensland to Quilpie, Blackall, Barcaldine, Hughendon and Ravenshoe to Cairns. In Cairns I met up with e.gregory1 and a non-cacher friend and spent three weeks on Cape York Peninsula before making our way back to Cairns and Mareeba. From there I headed on my own back home via Normanton and Karumba, Cloncurry, Mount Isa, Tennant Creek and back down the Stuart Highway through Alice Springs to Adelaide. All in all I spent six weeks on the road, visited many out of the way locations, enjoying the scenery and finding caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Team Beaufort!
On my trip up north to find some warmer weather and I have definitely found it today.
Nothing like shorts and a short sleeved shirt to soak up some vitamin D.
In Cloncurry for a couple of days checking out the sites and of course finding a few caches.
Made my under the bridge to a great little spot that you would not have known about except for caching.
Worked out what was required did the maths and headed off to GZ.
Déjà vu as I had been here recently.
Had the place to myself so was able to poke around and soon came up with the cache
Thanks Team Beaufort TFTC.

Day 3 of our tour around Queensland. Today saw us heading from Longreach to Cloncurry picking up this, that and anything else that we came across.
After unpacking our gear and having a rest at the hotel it was time to head off and grab a few more hides. This was the first and our must to in Cloncurry. Eskies5 did all the leg work and we were off to GZ. This is one spot we definitely wouldn’t have come to if it wasn’t for caching and now very glad that it had.
Arriving at GZ we were about to start our search before we got asked to help out after another traveler had managed to lock her keys in her car. With a few phone calls made we had the right person coming to help and we were on our way to start our search.
It wasn’t too long before Eskies5 let out the cheer that she had what we had came for. Great to tick off another oldie on this trip. TFTC Team Beaufort

Day 3 of 8 (Longreach to Cloncurry) of a Queenslander road trip with Kestal, clocking just over 4000km, to tick off boxes for different challenges. What a great little multi! Loved the history, loved the view! A fave pt from me. TFTC Team Beaufort.
When we pulled up at the final a lady approached us asking us if we could ring someone to assist her as she had locked her keys (along with her phone) in her troop carrier. After a couple of calls, Paul from RACQ was on his way. She went off to take a few photos and we were able to confirm our calculations were correct and we had ourselves a log to find.

Interesting history, amazing people. Must check the book out. Waypoint 1 easy to collect. Cache was too. Container's lid is disintegrating. Good views. TFTC
It's always interesting to learn about the history of a place when you are travelling and this was no exception. After a stop at the pub for a beer, we headed to the posted coords and quickly gathered some information then off to the final for a quick find and to enjoy the views. Thanks for the cache
Out and about here visiting my nephew and his family here in Cloncurry.
Saw this multi pop up and I had to grab it for my 1000th find. Yeehaa.
A nice little spot at WP1 that probably doesn’t get much of a visit.
Cache at final WP is starting to show some signs of its age and probably needs a new container, but it’s holding up for now.
I visited 3 TB.

Quick find on our second attempt at this cache. The first involved a slip, rolling in the Spinifex and a little blood some months ago. The container is getting a bit worse for wear and is no longer water proof. Thanks for the cache.
An overnighter in Cloncurry today. Stopped at a lovely caravan park and ventured out around town to grab the caches. Nice simple multi for a hot day.

After camping at Porcupine Gorge last night, I continued my journey west towards Mount Isa, checking out the various towns and caches along the way.
Its been almost 3 weeks since I left Adelaide on a trip north in search of some warmer weather and I’ve really been enjoying the changing landscapes and visiting new places.
Another interesting bit of history and a nice view from GZ. Cache was a quick find.
Thanks Team Beaufort for the cache.

Day 243 - Today were area again on the road however before we hooked up we made the trip out to collect the final of this multi as we collected the information from WP1 the day before it was a nice quick trip up to the location for the search and after a quick search the cache was in hand with the log signed we made our way back to the caravan and hooked up for our trip to Mt Isa.
Thanks Team Beaufort for placing this cache for us to add to our collection today.

Nice and easy one. We would have visited the final even without the cache, but so it was better. The place is just magical, FP for this location. And found a usefully tool in the cache box, which we could have used just this morning as we were hiding our first geocache.

I gathered the information and did the calculations and found the cache was in a place we had visited earlier in the day. So another trip was called for and the cache was found quickly. When I was there previously I wondered why there wasn’t a cache in that location.
Tenkae's Outback Adventure Day 5 - heading west and grabbing a few caches along the way. Stunning view up here. Tftc
With Fangsoki and Crew153 in the mighty Canyonero, we hit the outback in search of the oldest and finest Queensland has to offer. 6000+ kms in 8 days - an epic journey. Day five and we are here. Having sorted out wp1 online we went straight to finals and made a fairly quick find to get the day started. Turns out wp1 was very busy and parking nearby would have been an issue for us. Always good to start a caching day on a positive.
Thanks Team Beaufort for entertaining me at this location.

When Fangsoki and Pprime (P') mentioned about a road trip to get the old caches in outback Queensland I jumped at the chance to see some of our great country. The 8 day tour covered some 6,000km and a day on a boat in the Whitsundays. I wouldn't have missed the adventure for the world.
Day 5 of our journey found us breaking camp at Terry Smith Lookout and heading into Cloncurry for Breakfast on the run.
It appears that the workmen were out of bed earlier than us as they were all around the first WP but Prime had done some homework before leaving home and we just had to verify our information.
We then headed off to check out the views from here and find the cache. It took a few minutes to locate the cache but the hint helped.

Crew 153, Pprime, and I were out in western Queensland and decided to grab this cache.
Pprime had done homework before we left home - and it was just as well as he had - as there worker muggles all around the waypoint.
But thankfully not at GZ! GZ was devoid of muggles. We searched for about 5 minutes before Pprime found the prize. We signed the log and I dropped in a trackabe that seemed apt for these parts.

As we arrived in town today, we set ourselves the challenge of finding most of the caches around Cloncurry, despite the heat. We also wanted to find them as quickly as possible. The new co-ords were easy to work out and on arriving at GZ we found them to be accurate, although taking the hint into account also helped narrow down the search area. Thank you to Team Beaufort for a nice little multi.
After leaving Julia Creek this morning we headed to Cloncurry and after setting up the van we drove out to find a few of the local caches.
We enjoyed this one and were delighted when we arrived at GZ. After a brief search helped immensely by the very precise hint we soon managed to unearth this one. The lid is cracked but all is dry inside at this stage. Geohubby returned the cache upside down in the hope of keeping it that way.
Many thanks for the beaut multi Team Beaufort

We are booked into a local caravan park as we continue our meandering across northern Australia after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter. Pa had some shopping to do but once that was over it was caching time. This was #4 for the day on this wonderful International Caching Day. Found our way to waypoint 1, where I gathered the required information and then calculated the final position of the cache.
An easy find once at GZ so thanks Team Beaufort for showing us two great places of interest in this town. The log was stamped, only then did I realise it had the wrong date on it, and the cache was returned to its hidey hole.

We were planning on catching up with friends who are heading back to Melbourne that we haven't seen for a few years we hung around Cloncurry for the morning waiting for time to arrive and what better way to kill time than to go caching.
We decided to start the day with a multi which we must say we did enjoy. At wpt1 we found the required plaque and gathered the numbers and calculated the gz and made our way there. We did enjoy the location here and probably wouldn't have visited it if it wasn't for this cache.
With good co-ords the cache was fairly quickly found and we happily added our name to the log before we took the time to take a few pictures.

Stood and looked at the old grave sites and walked around a bit, now I'm worried about that old quote re walking over their graves. Anyway did the necessary and went to place I'd been before, yesterday actually, still good though. Fossicked around and Lo and behold there it was just like the hint and description. TFTC
Found in company with Team Red Roo, parked our vehicle at the road closed sign and walked up the hill to the cache. TFTHSL
A quick find under the first rock checked (means the coordinates are very accurate). Team Gypsys accompanied me but we had worked out coordinates separately to make sure we were both on the right track. We parked in the parking area then walked to the cache (250mtrs) to find it quickly. Thanks to Team Beaufort for taking us to two different places of interest with the one cache.
Taken a while to get this one, had to wait for the road crew to knock off for the day. TFTC
Enjoying our history tour around Cloncurry and the first cyphering cache for us. Unable to find second part due To Road Closed sign and council works in progress on this road up to GZ

We reached Queensland yesterday and after overnighting in Mt Isa and collecting a few more around the city this morning, we were now on the road and heading for our next overnight stop in Winton via Mary Kathleen, Cloncurry and McKinlay caching all the way. Most of the caches we located were in good order, including this one as we did our 'Tour de Cloncurry'. TFTC Team Beaufort

to the next stage. Really good views in the end.
Found, signed and replaced carefully back in its hidey
spot. We also retrieved the TB to continue on its trip.
Loved the Dam further up the road.
Thanks Team Beaufort

We worked out the question and ended up at this beautiful spot. Unfortunately we couldn't find the cache. Lots of muggles too. TFTC
Easy to work out the coordinates there is was a steady muggle traffic. Finally it eased and I could stop pretending that i was looking at something else.
Thanks for the cache
