After a Parkrun at Chelsea and coffee at the Spanish cafe decided to get this on our way home
Passing through and needed a leg stretch so parked close by and made the short walk to GZ. Great clue All is good here. It is logged and replaced ready for its next visitor. Thank you
Thanks to the CO for replacing this lost cache - it always is a lot easier if the cache is actually there. No sign of the bull ants today - probably too cold for them.
Noted this cache had some DNFs so came to check on it and indeed it has been messed about. Replaced it with a new container
Found the remnant giant easily but no luck with the cache. Several very big bullants as well so didn't poke around too much after that.
We were catching up with a friend at the nearby playground, but they were not there yet. So I fired up the ol app and saw there was a boredom buster right there! We went up the wrong path at first, but realised our mistake and tried again. Upon making it to GZ area, I immediately spied a spot where I would hide one, but let the kids hunt around by themselves for a bit. Eventually I nudged them towards this spot and they quickly made the find, signed and replaced carefully. Cache was a smidge damp, so made sure ring was seated properly before replacing. Thanks for the cache!*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Do need to be careful collecting this one with spiky plants all around although it adds to the challenge. TFTC
LeeLee has achieved her goal of finding a cache in the Frankston LGA with #3 in this Up The Creek series. We decided to grab #4 in this series just because. Once the GPS caught up, we moved to the correct location where a quick find was made. Thanks Rigger64, (adopted by Earthbound Chief) for placing this Traditional Cache to enhance the game board and add to our enjoyment.
Travelled bayside today to celebrate LetThemEatCache 5 year cacheversary! After a relaxing time, LeeLee set off with micaparamedic to firstly tick off Frankston LGA then pick up a few other random caches along the way. What a beautiful day all round. After collecting #3 we decided to wander to this one also. Wasn't long and mica had the cache in hand. Thanks Earthbound Chief The **Ballarat GeoTour** ends on 4 March 2024! Found sitting on the ground re-hidden with some care. Nice little find off the beaten path.
TFTC! Easy find on our afternoon walk. Forgot a pen will pop back during the week to sign.
Found giant then cache but forgot pen, walk back to car to fetch luckily nice n quiet Wednesday morning SL TFTC
It’s raining, it’s pouring and this Cacher was snoring and couldn’t get up in the morning!
After spending several hours distracted by cyberspace, a patch of blue sky appeared and it was time to venture outside. Yay, the forecast had been updated and the rain was meant to be finished for the day and that means caching time!
A spur of the moment plan was hatched with spiffy- to target this area of unfound caches.
Argh, sports on a Saturday.. the title should have said it all.. we nabbed the last free car park on the street and surprisingly all the muggles were focussed on the match at hand and none even wandered down to the path.. we were victorious to be up the creek to find a cache without a paddle.
thanks for the placement Earthbound Chief and story information

With the weather clearing up this afternoon Kristysadventures and I headed out to find stuff neither of us had found so we dropped one car off and freestyled around this area. The rain gladly held off and we kept going until it started getting dark.
With a footy match going on the parking was challenging but we found a spot and walked in and luckily it was quite out of the way and after the second thing matching the hint was located we soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks Earthbound Chief for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Harder than what it needed to be but finally found the remnant. Hmmm ..... found this hole big enough for someone planning to hide a body maybe??? If I go missing in the future please look here first. TFTC
A short walk from collecting Up The Creek 3 along this picturesque track without another soul to be seen. As the area looked a little snakey, I elected Steve to handle this mission solo.
After waiting for him to return for about 10 minutes, figured he may need some help, so I found a much better access point, with only a small fence to step over and met up with him. We both were heading in the same direction, Steve having spotted a likely contender and sure enough, there was the cache.
Thanks to Rigger64 for placing this cache and to Earthbound Chief for adopting and keeping this old timer in the game.

Great walk first along the beach from Carrum and then along the lovely and peaceful Creek Walk. We had bit of a search once we reached the location, as there was clearly a gang of giants here at one time. However we soon had this great cache in our hand - nearest muggles were playing cricket in a nearby field and were clearly focussed solely on their game. TFTC
Work arranged itself rather nicely this week giving me a period of six days off. I spent a bit of time working out which direction i wanted to head for caching fun and decided to have another go at Melbourne and the surrounding suburbs. I then took quite a while coming up with a list of caches to target, there are just so many possibilities! I packed, had accommodation sorted, and even had a muggle caching buddy lined up to do the driving. Perfect! Too perfect... . Plans changed at the last minute and i came down to the city solo and without the accommodation option. I wasnt sure if i would keep the rest of the plan or head for the hills instead.
Well i ended one day and im still here this morning, i have decided to persist with the plan for the time being. Time will tell if it stays that way.
I had a rough night last night with little sleep. I need a coffee and something to eat to get going, but at least i now have a find under my belt.

I'd been to this cache about 4 times, and each time it was missing. The area has changed quite a bit, and I only got stabbed by a prickle plant once when getting the cache. In the distance, I could hear people playing cricket or some other kind of organised punishment.
All is good with the cache.

Day 1 of a planned three-day trip to Melbourne saw us pick up LazyAde and head down to Seaford to specifically pick up a couple of solved puzzles, and a few other caches in between.
We enjoyed the short stroll along the Kananook Creek Trail today, with LazyAde finding this cache nicely tucked away. TFTC Rigger64 and Earthbound Chief.

Today was a planned trip to Frankston to pick something up, turns out it was advertised but not in stock. Glad I put some caches into the GPS for the trip.
Parked so I could stroll down the trail to do Up The Creek 3 then 4.
A quick walk from Up The Creek 3 had me cache hunting, took a while to locate but found, signed and replaced.
Thanks to Rigger64 and Earthbound Chief

I can turn that frown upside down finally. Here today to watch our mate play footy, so at half time I made my way back to gz to give this another go...so no wonder I couldn't find it last time, its about 5m off course! Also I think vegetation has been cleared so it allowed me to see something else that needed a closer inspection...and there the cache was! Signed log, its in excellent condition, popped it back in its great little hiding spot.
Hopped over a fence from the oval and made our way through, and off the beaten path. A quick and easy find, although we were looking in the wrong spot at first
Somethings are so easy to find when you’re looking in the right spot. No wonder I found this one last time. A quick expansion of the search area and this one was easily located.
So this one I have visited a couple of times after dark with no idea how to get to the destination so thought I'd save it for a daytime visit. Whilst looking at the obvious place I noticed 20ft away the container sitting in the open. Signed log and returned it to where I think it should go. Tftc and just maybe check it has been hidden correctly!
Today we performed a quick health check on Up The Creek 4 - Sports, all good here.
After about a decade since our find of Up the Creek 5 (when we lived in Edithvale back in 2012) we picked up the trail today and a quick find of Up the Creek 4. Long time between drinks! TFTC
I made a rare visit to Seaford today to collect the answers for the **RSL Artillery Wherigo**... and while I was here, I took some time out to mark my visit by looking for this cache. Approaching GZ I spotted a tall, skinny example of *The Hint* and poked around there for a while without any success. Then I spotted a short, fat example and had a whole lot more success!
Thanks **Earthbound Chief** for keeping this old cache alive...

Out for a drive in the beach suburbs with BoabTree and muggle husbands, we stopped for a few caches along the way. A short walk soon had us at GZ. Nicely hidden, thanks Earthbound Chief.
Out and about with Echidna44 and our Muggle Husbands, we had travelled to Seaford to check out a gun at the local RSL as part of a Whereigo cache. Then we moved on to some traditional caches around the area and this was one. We had a nice stroll to GZ where the cache was found after a short search.
Find #2715 for me. Found at 12:07 pm with my friend virbull and dog Bonnie. We made a fairly quick find here, but then realized we didn't have our pen, so we had to backtrack back to the road where we'd accidentally dropped it. Once that was rectified we returned to the cache and added our names to the logbook. Thanks for adopting and maintaining this great little series Earthbound Chief and thanks for the cache!
Found with Claybol who had come down from Bendigo for the day. Nice little area and the sea breeze is beautiful. TFTC.
Up The Creek 4 - Sports was transferred from Annoying Tarbit to user Earthbound Chief
Out and about for a nearby basketball tournament. Quick pick up at this nice reserve
Great hiding spot. We looked in the wrong location for a little bit but found it eventually. TFTC
Was out in open on the ground, replaced it where I thought it actually belongs. Tftc
Found right out on the ground. ThaKraken will send a photo of it back where we think it belongs. Tftc
Hmmmmm...no obvious signs of where it could be...gave it a good look...have to come back another time.
Been to Dayboro from Cairns to attend the Mega, quick trip to Sth. Australia now turned tail and heading slowly back up north. 11 May 2021 12:53 pm Tyfc Annoying Tarbit total caches now 2108 had a good look no sign
Didn't think that we were going to be able to get to this one but found a way. Thanks for the cache.
Despite it being a wet day OzHockeyChick, GeoTurtle37 and I stuck to our plans to adventure out for a few caches and adventure labs in the south eastern suburbs.
Have had this old cache on my list for a while to fill an Ausmer gap. My planned car park point was blocked and my hopes of being able to get this cache started to fade because of the construction fencing but fortunately it ended just before GZ.
After a couple of prickles we soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks Annoying Tarbit for the cache.

We were a little concerned as we approached, that the works going on here may prohibit us from getting to GZ. There is a track along the waterway that is still open and the cache was still able to be found. Thanks for the placing this cache and maintaining it for so long.
While today was initially supposed to be fine and sunny, it turned out to be a little drizzly with light occassional showers. But that didn't stop us from having a lovely day anyway.
Upon arriving here, we were a little concerned by the nearby fencing. Turns out gz was on the right side, so an easy find in the end.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, Annoying Tarbit

Found this cache lying out in the open so placed it back in what seemed like the most logical hiding place at ground zero.
This was a QEF during an evening walk. The clue made it an easy find. The cache is in good condition. TNLN TFTC.
Came and found a few more of these caches in this series with Hann on our cache run today.

We'd visited this cache a few years ago but left with a DNF, resulting in a sad little spot on the map for quite a while.
Today that was thankfully rectified, as I left the path - strangely without any muggles to be seen on this section of the trail - and headed to gz.
I focused my search around one particular tree, to begin with (and ended up encountering a number of prickly bushes in the process), but spotted another likely location soon enough where the cache was indeed hiding (thankfully with fewer prickles in the way).
Signed the logbook and returned it all safe and sound once more.
Thanks to Rigger64 for originally placing this cache and Annoying Tarbit for keeping it active!

A bit of construction happening nearby but fortunately i was able to get to this one without being spotted though a lot of mozzies around
