Found while out on a Sunday drive, cache was on the ground in the open, we put it back where we thought it should be. Thanks for the cache.
This cache was not on our radar today. In fact we decided to skip it as we were travelling from Dunkeld through to skipton, Linton etc, however we were turned around at streatham due to a severe accident just on the other side of town past the bridge requiring the air ambulance etc.First we took a detour of about 20 km to reach the Streatham Cemetery for the multi there, but then we still could not renter the Glenelg Highway, so this seemed like a bit of an alternative though it has taken us way off course. The cache was easily found and logged, but now we are again faced with the prospects of where to now and we are both travelling in separate cars!TFTC and we will get on with it!
I found this geocache during a recent trip, however, for sme reason my log didn't automatically upload from my GPS as it is programmed to.Thanks for your cache hide and the effort that you put into maintaining it,
Was a quick find once we negotiated the river of water on the road side. The joys of caching after heavy rain! Unfortunately LumpyR didn't negotiate the water well and will finish caching with wet feet. Tftc and its continued maintenance. It was in good order.
Travel on the way to home Melbourne and detour some area with Everlasting and Found the cache and logged the log with Everlasting Kinkell1, Thank you so much for placing it.
Drop off the trackable.
Accompanied with crank1, we enjoyed the trip and detour find it and sign the log. Thanks for the cache and hunt.

I DNFed this cache way back in 2011 after walking around the back of the pine and coming across a very large tiger snake. I backed away quickly and decided a DNF was a worthwhile choice.
Today I got wet feet jumping puddles to get to GZ.
I'm to finally have found this one lonely unfound cache.
A big thanks to Kinkell1 & The Ballarat cache guardians
Find recorded using GCDroid and logged using GSAK

Apart from all the water underfoot, that’s about as easy as it gets as per rating. Tftc
Enjoyed a cool winter's afternoon caching our way in a loop south of Ararat. Another nice quick find in this fully recovered pine tree. Thank you Ballarat Geocachers for keeping Kinkell1's cache going.
A quick drive by here As usual my route is never the most direct as I wander from cache to cache but makes my travels just that much more interesting. TFTC Kinkell1
Beautiful day out collecting a few smileys after the Beaufort Banter. This pine is well and truly recoverd. Tftc...
While staying at the Caravan Park in beautiful Dunkeld we decided to head East towards some of the little settlements and hopefully find a few caches on the way.
This pine tree has definitely recovered and the cache was an easy find.
We have noticed many pine trees around the region with dead branches which mostly seem to face west. We wondered if it was from very hot dry winds although I would think much of that would come from the northwest??
Many thanks for the hide Kinkell1

Grabbed along our travels in this great country. TFTC Kinkell1 (Cache Guardian = BallaratGeocachers).
Found It.....After finishing up training early i decided to collect a few caches while on my drive home. After pulling up i wandered over to G.Z. where a quick search soon revealed the cache and with the log signed i continued my journey homeward. Thanks Kinkell1 for the cache

Cold, wet and windy weather was not a sufficient deterrent to keep us from a day's caching in and around Ararat today.
Great to see a cache of this age still on the gameboard and being well cared for.
Thanks Ballarat Geocachers for looking after this treasure.

Today was a huge day leaving home at 6:30 am and not getting back home until 2:30am the following morning. After we had finished a walk to Boronia Peak we were looking some lighter caches to let our bodies recover.
Leaving the Grampians with the aim of being in Colac at midnight our path took us close enough to make the detour.
Spotted this one as I was hoping out of the car for a nice quick grab.
Thank you Cache Guardian for keeping this alive

With a 600km 20hr caching day, Simsfamily and Neville Devil and I made an early start.
The weather all day was intermittent showers, fog and blue sky's but it didn't dampen our enthusiasm.
A quick driveby as we took the back roads to grab a few caches.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache Kinkell and Ballarat Geocachers for maintaining it.

On our way for an overnight stay in Halls Gap, we thought we would break the trip up with a few geocaches on the way. A nice quick find here. TFTC Kinkell1
Spotted on approach as we navigate the back roads towards the Grampians and an extended LWE away from the AFL GF mob in Melbourne.

Our last unfound Kinkell1 hide is now smiling on our map, yay!
Like others before us, we found it in the grass. We signed the log, sharpened the pencils, added a pathtag and left it at the intended elevation. The tree seems to be in good health nowadays.
Thanks for the memories, our friend! [^]

Found it on the ground, so moved it 'above eye level'
Gotta love the country side, moved to a town near by and just loving it!
Tftc!

Wind has struck again found cache on ground. Signed log and returned. Hope it stays put this time. Tftc
After the excitement of a FTF locally in Ararat we headed south towards a recently published Mystery, picking up a few trads as we went with Wozzle68. A nice easy find after reading the thorough hint.
Thanks for the cache .
Thanks for the cache .
Finally a break in the rain and a chance to cache and see what has been happening with all that water. Unfortunately we could not make this find due to the road being closed due to flooding
A quick drive by with kenare and kenbryl. As we were driving up to Gz kenare spotted this one out in the open. Signed log and hid it a bit better. Cigc. Tftc
We saw the cache before we even stopped. It's better hidden now, unless the wind comes again. Tftc
A quick find today whilst caching the "log way" home with wozle68 and my two kids. Always lovely to see places I've never been before - many thanks

I decided to make a run south of Ararat and hoping to get back in time for the Afternoon party with Baz event.
I came into this one from the main road, and it looked like this area had a far bit of rain over night, as my ute ended up slip and sliding along the muddy road, in parts I swear there was clay on top.
After finally getting near GZ, it was time to get mud on my boots and well almost on my butt too but thankfully not.
Spot on cords made this a quick grab.
Now I just have to get back to the ute, staying upright.

Found with Yoshi Warriors on our way back to Warrnambool tonight and needed the trusty torch to spot this one, managed to get a little wet due to the recent rain, thanks Kinkell1 for the cache.
Off on a caching run from Warrnambool to Ararat with Happy Pants. We managed 40 finds for the day. We found this on the way back to Warrnambool on a wet dark evening. Happy Pants did the honour of retrieving it. TFTC Kinkell1.
Been here before, back in the area, kids needed to stretch their legs.
Found by Apple Pie , while Toothless approached from the wrong angle. Good cords, an easy find, and an isolated cache.

Accurate co-ords made this a quick find. Still aware of snakes in the long grass, luckily none today. Thanks
Nice little hide just off the track a little. Yep, trees looking pretty good these days. Log was a bit wet and mouldy. Nards is sending a NM to you. We water proofed it for now. TFTC
An easy find, my good lady spotted this as I drove passed too-fast-for the road. I had to do a 3-point-turn to go back for it.
The container has been compromised. it was musty and full of mildew, the log book needs replacing.

Found on the ground in the grass and placed back where we thought it had come from
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Kinkell1.
Australia Day! A great time to catch up with the family, do a spot of camping and of course find a few caches. We were off to Lake Bolac to spend an extra long weekend of fishing, telling a few stories and a round of golf.
Of course, the fishing and golf provided great fodder for the story telling, the fish that got away or the golf shot that was almost a hole-in-one so a self-perpetuating vicious cycle was created.
However, caches weren’t too far from my mind. While the snores were emanating from the tents in the early morning, I took advantage to zip off and grab a few caches.
On the way to Lake Bolac and I bumped into the Charm Quark and our 3yo Cache Monkey in Ararat (we were heading down in seperate cars). We had a spot to eat and then the Cache Monkey insisted on going with Dad in the ute so she could go caching (I have brainwa...... I mean taught her well).
This was a quick driveby on the way through. The Cache Monkey, living up to her name, clambered through the branches to grab this.

Found it and we can't access our old profile so i'm resubmitting the one's we have found. we r getting back into it again now we have 2 Geo Kids so it should be fun!
Found on a trip to Portland. A nice pullover in a quiet place. Wouldn't it be nice to live in the house on the hill. A man can dream. Thanks for bringing me here.
After driving down really bumpy roads we came to this line of pines.. Thinking we were smart and only parking a few meters from the cache when we starting walking we realized we were at the wrong end of pines! Oh well least the walk warmed us up in this fridged air. Thanks
Suscoe's 7th find of the morning as we tracked slowly towards Ararat.
This was a nice driveby and the cache was soon found.
A heavy sky was closing in from the north but still no rain.
Thanks to Kinkell1 for bringing us out here.

Checked the cache today. It has been moved some so will change the hint to reflect this
All is well. Happy caching!

My trusty Pathfinder had recently blown a head gasket and the logistics of repairing it didn't add up so as I had been looking for a new car over the past few months on and off, it was time to actually look for and get one. Today myself and my two boys were off to Lake Bolac to look at a diesel Pajero and of course do some caching along the way.
After checking out the Pajero and taking it for a test drive we started on our way back home. I ended up getting a Prado as it turned out but it was good to take a few different cars for a drive to see what they were like.
We took a bit of a detour off the main route home to collect a few caches 'off the beaten track' so to speak. A quick search once a GZ and the three of us were huddled around signing the log. TFTC.

Pulled up and spent some time poking around the obvious spot. Looking more broadly I noticed the cache sitting on the ground a couple of meters into the padlock. Cache seemed okay, so signed log and placed back in likely spot. Not sure it fits the clue, but I think it'll be easy enough to find.
Thanks for bringing me here.

A quick find while passing by. Was interested in what looks like a nearby volcanic crater but couldnt get much closer.
Found by Ray and Maya at 11:05AM on the 29th of November. Easy find and a nice break on the journey back home after a weekend of Square Dancing at Halls Gap. TNLN. TFTC. The Nomads
Good little spot and well signposted at GZ. Just after signing the log I heard the wind whistling through the empty fields. It was a refreshing stop on the road back to Melbourne. Always enjoy passing through this area.
