Already knowing cliches with the Byways of Burnside, it wasnt long till I found a hole where the cache might be, and where it was. TFTC
Continuing the hazelwood park circuit, the cache was in the first place I looked! TFTC! #68
Over from Perth for a few days to attend the Leap Day Mega. And today is the day! After an enjoyable few hours at the event itself I headed off for a drive around picking up some target caches with the aim to get a good mix of types and sizes. Kicking myself that I've previously done both the webcams on previous trips over... so a leapday find for that type will have to wait a little longer!! A quick stop off here while in the area. Was relieved to know the neighbour is aware as someone appeared in the window as I was putting it back! An easy find - with a glorious sunset peeping through past the tennis court. TFTC

Woohoo. Achieved todays goal of find the 3 Byways cache that were unfound close to home. A bit of water in container that I tipped out and wiped some. Although baggy was open, log seemed quite dry. Thanks for all the Byways, and now Ill look to see where the next lot are. TFTC Southern Cross Caching 20/12/2023 2:55pmFind # 2829
Thanks for the hint. Easy find, loving it. Good to have a pencil for me to write my name.
Dropped by today to check on this on given the DNFs. The cache was still there in the place listed in the description hoever the lid was broken. So I’ve put a brand new 200ml systema in place.

On a trip out North with Chookster, this was a reasonably quick find in the obvious place. We were thinking of bringing our bikes and doing more of the caches in this area but a long hike the day before meant our (my) legs were a little whiney. I'm really enjoying this series, I love back streets and alleys and it's nice to discreetly look at how the other half lives! Looking forward to doing more of them.

Went out to this area to suss out a very high terrain cache nearby and how we could approach it. This was for later. For now it was a few caches in the area, starting with this one. A quick find as there weren't too many spots where this would have been. This needs some maintenance though as the lid had completely cracked and would be soaked during the next rain. TNLN. Cheers.
Nice easy find.

Yay, after two DNFs we were nearly ready to give up for the day. Thanks for the hint !! TFTC
Went for a drive with sandelf to find a silver bullet tag and picked this one up whilst in the area. TFTC
This morning the plan had been to kayak but the weather forecast for today didn’t look great so another adventure was planned.
This involved wellingtons, UV torch, torch and bringing a change of clothes (not required)
Fun day of caching only 11 for the day including 2 treks through drains and a celebration event.
Was nice to get this prior dnf ticked off, nice and quiet today which meant for a quick stealthy find (last time there was a neighbor chin wag was going on in the lane way) TFTC

Stumped at first as navigation was leading us to wrong side but found it in the end. TFTC
Headed out to the leafy eastern suburbs to do a spot of caching this afternoon. Found an even 10, mainly trads, but with a mystery and whereigo thrown in for good luck. Apart from the caches the dog walkers were out in force, but they did not provide many issues around the various GZs. TFTC.
Had some time before my bus back I to town after walk g down Mt Lofty. Little walk to admire the suburbs and pick up a quick cache. Thanks!
4th of 12 finds for 28th Dec 2020. Rushing to reach 100 by the end of our first year caching!! This was relatively simple once we figured out which wall it was TFTC! Sabo + JJ
A few quick caches on my way home after an appointment in the city. Enjoying this series. TFTC.
Dropped by today and replaced log book, pencil and stash note in new waterproof bag.
Well it was close to where the hint said but not actually the post. Log is falling to pieces.
Needs a new log and waterproofing.

With restrictions about to ease even further, I think we can safely enable our caches for people to start finding again. Please remember to practice safe hygiene measures while out an about, remain safe and most importantly, have fun.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Hello everyone, in these terrible times and with the current government directive for people to stay at home unless it’s essential. We’ve made a decision to take our caches off-line to stop temptation and encourage people to stay home. If this goes longer than the allowable 2 weeks period and geocaching hq decide to archive them, then so be it. But let’s hope this is over as soon as possible with as little damage as possible, so we can all get on with our lives this great game in the conditions we are accustomed to.
Cheers and stay safe and healthy,
Shane and Josie

Took me a second look to find it but got it in the end. Log needs a bit of TLC at it is a bit full and very wet and muddy. TNLNSL TFTC
A quick duck out this morning before work to collect the caches type needed for today.
A quick find here, log book has seen better days but it will be okay for a little bit.
