No joy here for me today. I didnt have the pleasure of being able to contact the CO. I did find a dead bird and someones card holder with a few cards in it, but no cache. May be next time.
Christmas holidays, not working, family catchups long overdue, food enough for a small country, summer weather .... and seventy found caches. What a perfect week.
Knew this would be on my list this week, so I delved into the wide weird world of the XoE series. Cool idea. And well done to all who participated. Worked my way through the clues, and after a couple of mis-starts I collected an acceptable set of coordinates for use on my trip.
Boxing day mission to clear out the Narrandera/ Leeton part of my map and after a few warmup caches on the way in, and a coffee in town, I presented myself to calculated GZ for the search. Good thing I had COs contact number handy, my GPSr pointed off to one side a small amount and after a reasonable search I came up empty. A quick PAF and I was directed a metre or so over 'there' and, oh! There it is. I might have got there in the end, but I was so keen to have a smilie on this one. Thanks again Murf. Coffee next time perhaps. Definately my shout.
Clues collected for those others that might make me popular in certain circles, and a favourite from me for a well constructued puzzle, and hide. Cheers.
Thanks for placing this cache, murf. Found in good condition.

Great puzzle and TFTC.
I retained a copy of the clues for the next in this series. Looking forward to finding/ solving the "Paddock" cache.
We were the first to find on over 12 months.
Cache is in good condtion and well hidden
We had 2 attempts thwarted by muggles, third attempt was sucessful.

Thanks for this XoE cache, which has been waiting a long time since the last log. I really enjoyed this puzzle, and the ensuing hunt for 'Followers Paddock'. My interest in Leeton was sparked when I chanced upon a Geotalk GC (by mOR4m) that wanted to visit XoE caches. I found the coin (in a Sydney cache where it was not even listed) just days before work would take me to near-by Griffith... coincidence or fate?
A 'quick 150km' night-time dash had me in Leeton, and with cache in hand after a quick search. Thanks, murf, for the introduction to another great NSW town. See you around! Now off to trade coords and find the next XoE!

This was our 4th XoE cache and will admit I am not sure if we will be able to find anymore this far away from home! This was a series that we really enjoyed and it made the fun of joint puzzle solving and the negotiation and swapping of coordinates very entertaining indeed. Stacks of emails received and sent and the meeting of cachers that we may not have had the opportunity to have done.
We parked right in front of GZ as there was a large activity happening nearby and we used the excuse of having to feed and water GeoTilly and also GeoJnr repeatedly losing his ball near GZ to both extract and replace the cache. TFTC murf. Cheers.

I have only one other of these XoE caches so far and that is in Sydney! (we are from Melbourne) Between us, Feathertop and I had what we thought was the solution but then we weren't so sure when we got to our gz, although a few things fitted. Standing back from gz he could actually see the cache (just) so all was well. Several mum's and kids then arrived but before too long the cache was retrieved, signed, and returned. So now I have two!
With the puzzle solved this cache became one of our reasons to venture so far from Wagga. it is nice to grab an interstate AoE cache and after grabbing a few other local caches we had a go for this one.
We had to wait for countless muggles before braving it to find the cache.
Thanks murf, well worth the trip. A pity we had not the time to go further for its brother cache.

Yahoo. I finally got it. After solving this puzzle a month ago I've been hanging out to get my first XoE cache and it was a sneaky one too. Stopped by with my new sister in law mid afternoon but had to give up due to some muggles down the street. Came back later with slowdad and had it in no time. 3rd cache for the afternoon. Thanks Kat
I'm lucky I have a psychodaughter to solve puzzle and I just get to tag along and find the cache. Well she's lucky I come along because I'm better at the small and micro caches so it evens out. TFTC
Having got FTF on both of C@Ws XoE caches in Victoria, I was keen to get out and do more, so this pair was a very enticing reason to detour to this area on the way to Wagga.
I love the idea behind the whole XoE series in encouraging cachers to talk to each other. While finding my nearest caches, I had the chance during this trip to meet one of the people that I had swapped info with a few weeks earlier.
This puzzle was a little tricky, but got the answer in the end.
The cache location proved to be in a convenient location to be able to meet the owner, so later we managed to catch up for a few drinks and a spot of night caching around Leeton.

This turned out to be more of an adventure than I was expecting! After nutting over the puzzle for a while we finally got the green light before our trip and arrived in town confident of our efforts. After 20 minutes of searching and an inquiring phone call I realised I'd transposed one number incorrectly! D'oh! After correcting things the final location made much more sense but even then it took some finding.
We were also pleased to meet up with the cache owner here and for a drink later.
Thanks for a very clever puzzle and hide!
Cheers,
R + D - B

I listened to the podcasts & thought I was ready for a quick dash. However, this was not so easy as I fumbled my way in the dark. After much dilemma and a few threats to murf's health and future caching hopes, I finally cracked the code.
Then a slight error had to be corrected before the trek to GZ was announced. That was another error as the man himself decided to await my visit and pounce with a camera as I look perplexed again. A quick glance in the right direction produced the goods and the sparkling new coin was promptly snapped from its hiding place.
Thanks for the evil and twisted adventure murf, now for part 2 and the flood gates to open.
Roostaman.

This is the starting point for my XoE GeoTalk Geocoin... it would love to do the rounds of the XoE caches...
