Tftc! A fun quick walk by after the longer walk out to the end of the jetty.
Found with Nibletricecakes, KrispyStrips and k8tybee on our Road to Esperance trip. TFTC.
Hier haben wir eine Weile gesucht und dann die richtige Tr und Schiene gefunden und gro genug sind wir auch! Such a wonderful place, we love the Jetty! Thanks for the cache and greetings from Minimuff from Mannheim/Germany
We also took a moment to figure out what door track but then it all became obvious. A favorite point from me because I loved this area, and glad I got to come here! The jetty is incredible and hard to believe its actually over a kilometer long until you try and walk it! And the caravan park was top notch perfect ?? ??
Wet, rainy and windy day. The rest of the week here was great. Love this little town. Found rhe cache . TFTC.
With the pub closed this is where the action centre of Port Germein was. Some great history to check out and the awesome jetty that goes forever. And of course you just can't not want to walk it... TFTC Hurtle.
What a fun little hide. I love the sign about the pier needing repair and you would too if you were that old! TFTC!
Our first find in Australia, found with Usall, friends and family. Thanks for placing
Aiming to stay the night in Port Pirie. Enjoying the caches. Last time I was here you could walk to the end of the jetty
Headed back west after a tour over east... Despite passing by the turnoff to Port Germein a number of times, for one reason or another we'd never ventured into the sleepy Hamlet, so it felt necessary to do so today. Not tall enough to ride, I appealed to the taller muggle man for help, but he quickly dismissed it as 'ungettable'. Sleepy as it was though, it was fairly easy for me to play fetch to claim the find. Thanks for the hide Hurtle
Awesome walk down the pier. Been here several times before and finally walked it. Decided to grab cache while here! Tftc
Stayed nearby last night and decided to make one quick grab for the day before hitting the road. Would never have found without the hint, and had to get Mr L.GEL out of the car for the retrieve. All in all, took a bit longer than planned.
After spending a few days in Gawler it was time for to drive my mums (well my car now) from Gawler back to Perth. This was day one travelling from Gawler to Streaky Bay on a 5 day 3,100km adventure. And there are hundreds of signs saying do not drive tired so geocaching helped with that.Found lots of caches on the trip. Thanks for the cache and making me get out and stretch hurtle.
On a family caravan holiday across the road, we made a quick find before breakfast.Tffc
Found it but unable to reach it! Not designed for a 68 yr old, even if regarded as fit!!!!!TFTC
Thanks for your input, re: coordinates.I'll endeavour to remember to check them again, not like I've needed too since it was placed 10 years ago, as I don't recall anybody questioning the co-ords since placed.... so my bet it's your GPSr playing up, or if you using a phone app then haven't waited for it to settle. Also you may consider that coords are going to be inaccurate if trying to use INSIDE, standing on outside of the wall at GZ will give you better coords than inside... just saying...
Left Port Pirie this morning heading toward the Flinders, well worth the stop here TFTC
In town for a cpl of nights, so checked on this one.
Seems it's been put back in an easier spot! Shame on whomever did that!
Logbook has plenty of space, we replaced the salt air damaged cache, then replaced where it should be.
No apologies, afterall the terrain is rated accordingly...
Thanks to the 500 finders in nearly 10 years..

As we are staying in the van park for a few days ,we went back for another try. Had to use a TOTT to get it. T.F.T.C.
Stayed the night in Pt Germein and found this one before heading off this morning. Hint helped narrow the search zone down, no worries here. Cheers for hiding.

Pick up Detofinbars this morning with a trip to Port Pirie for Podiatrist appointment and then onto Wilmington to pick up trees from a trees for life grower. We were getting caches along the way and had a fantastic day. TFTC
After reading up on hints ahead of time, logic prevailed and this was a quick find with not too many muggles around.
At last! I can finally tick this one off I first came through Port Germein 6 years ago and had a go at this cache but couldn’t find it. That wasn’t because it wasn’t there, it was because I was searching in the wrong spot! (un)fortunately there was no market today, I hear the sweet treats are good TFTC
While travelling with some Tassie friends, one of them is over 6 foot tall, which really help find this Geo otherwise little Shorty me would’ve only stayed at it from a distance…. Thank you for hiding this chair.
We walked the jetty this morning, what a beautiful sunny day, and saw some muggles out fishing for blue crabs. Lunch at the local café at the end of the jetty was awesome. TFTC

We stayed at the Caravan Park nearby.
Together with my favorite geocacher Milonguera we traveled to Australia We went to Melbourne via Singapore and from there we explore the south, the center and the east coast.
We walked around Melbourne and had a nice meet & greet event. Than we visited Philip Island with the pinguins and the Great Ocean Road. We fed and petted kangaroos We drove to Adelaide, visited the koalas and continued to Port Augusta.
**Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for showing the location and for hiding the cache. You should come to Berlin in Germany to find a lot of interesting geocaches, visit lost places in the surrounding Brandenburg and meet nice people at many events.
I wish you a lot of fun and great adventures while searching for the next geocache!**
Ich bedanke mich bei Hurtle für den Cache, das Zeigen dieses Ortes, das Legen und Pflegen der Dose und den Spaß beim Finden! Thanks for the cache!

On a big day of Km’s during my
Holiday today to get 17 caches in 3 new LGA’s and also my second last date needed for my “date placed Calendar” challenge. I also shopped for supplies to hide 7 geocaches for you locals!
All caches were in good condition and any needing logs replaced- I did it! Some very interesting areas.
I could see this from the lower level and an JUST tall enough to grab it. I replaced the log too.

Saw it from few meters away
Managed to retrieve it with a correct foot placement and a bit of a push up
No furniture needed
Tftc! Great little town

Thank you to the last geocacher who left a TOTT available for those of use vertically challenged!
I’m now covered in spider webs as it was in the last place I looked!
Ah Geocaching! I love it !

What an amazing, beautiful place. We knew where the cache would be and it was a matter of finding the right spot. As luck would have it, the first place we reached we had it in our hands. Recommend having lunch at the corner café here too! TNLN Cheers.
Thanks Hurtle, nice little hide although a bit of a challenge for us older, shorter cachers! Luckily we were able to move a bit of picnic furniture to help with retrieval. Found with Jimmytherat. On way to our WA odyssey.
Found although had to use the hint as co order seemed well out to the south.
Looks like the brief warm weather had gone and rain ️ is in the way so we are out with iluvtrekking grabbing finds while we can remain dry. Thanks Hurtle for the hide.
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. We are enjoying our time travelling SA. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on a geo-guided tour.
Spent the day around Pt Germein and Mambray Creek. Enjoyed looking at the historical information here.
More difficult than finding the cache was extracting the log from it. Lovely day for a walk. Rain held off. TFTC
Been awhile since we done any we are floating around South Australia for a few days was here so grabbed it
Like others before we had to move an item of furniture to be able to reach the cache

Well that was an effort especially when hight challenged, lol. Thankfully the muggles stayed away long enough for geo hubby Animal62 & I to manoeuvre a piece of furniture to make retrieval & placing the cache back to where it was found, easier.

After talking a walk along the jetty we stopped and found this cache. But only dad was taller enough to reach
Quick easy find with my wonderful long suffering muggle husband. Although slightly vertically challenged we happily utilised a TOTT nearby. Have never been to Port Germain and on our way home to the Adelaide Hills after spending a week in Streaky Bay we stopped here for lunch and found a cache. Left the other caches in the area for another time. Don’t like to push the envelope with a muggle husband. TFTC TNLNSL
