Unfortunately another DNF! Wonder if this one has been muggled, Much disorder near GZ.
We couldn't find this. Perhaps the owner could check it and advise if it's still there.
Looked in all the spots, and even other spots, but no find on this cache.
Might be gone.
Might be gone.
We looked at all the possibilities but to no avail. The stumps at gz and for a perimeter of 30 meters were empty. Spent more than 30'minutes on this one with 3 pairs of eyes all unsuccessful. From reading the logs now it seems it could be anywhere. So..... Too good for us, I'm afraid

Find # 3148 and 16th of the day at 1:00 pm. Accompanied by Feathertop on our Great Ocean Road Trip.Nice little walk to the cache, TNLN, left my mark in the log, Thanx Team_Ninja....
First time I've found a team ninja cache so far from home.
There were a few cars in the picnic area when we arrived but none on the boardwalk.
The surrounds have been cleared but the cache is safe and sound.

This was cache # 40 of 43 for the day, on our tour of Geelong and the Surf Coast. I was wondering about the name but all was answered when we arrived, we noticed that the ground both sides of the board walk had been cleared bare and then we noted the cache was not in the object mentioned in the hint but was else where close by, I think the clearer's may have found the cache, on our way out we noticed a sign advertising that controlled burns were to happen at the end of the month, that explained why it had been cleared along the sides of the board walk, you may want to check this one out. My thanks to Team_Ninja for the cache.
Found while out with Acts2YouthGroup on a good weather day for caching. We had gotten some food from the local fish and chippery (highly recommended) and I was eating as I walked on to this one. I wonder if the hide has been moved, as it doesn't fit the clue, although it is still easy to find, and the borders of the boardwalk have been cleared of vegetation. Thanks Team_Ninja.
There were signs on the way in that there will be a controlled burn in a couple of weeks, which is presumably why the boardwalk has been cleared. The cache should be OK where it is.

A very easy find as spotted 40 metres away from GZ. Replaced with more camo.

Lovely location and it was nice to get out and stretch the legs after leaving Apollo Bay.
Easy find, hopefully made it more camoed for the next finder.

Are you sure the co-ords are coreect?
Didn't find the cache.
Didn't find a stump.
Didn't find the picnic ground.
Didn't find any snakes.
Didn't find any people.
Found Ironbark Tk on a hot day and walked about 300m along then right into the bush about 20m.
Must be well hidden. GPS accuracy is quite high 7-8m making it difficult to pin down in the bush.

Found while visiting family for new years day. We thought the area might be busy but everyone must have been sleeping it off. A lovely area we would not have found. TFTC
My 350th and first team ninja find @ 10:22, I needed the clue to find it as the GPSr was pointing quite a way off, and I didn't want to disturb the vegetation any more than necessary.
Nice spot with good information signs - finally I know why iron barks are that. Unfortunately time didn't permit any long walks and we kept rolling.
My thanks to team ninja

Great walk and nice cache - enjoyed it very much during our holidays in Australia - quite hot at this time of year... - 40 C -luckily only for one day;)
What a lovely spot for a picnic, just a shame we'd already eaten but next time for sure as it was so quiet. Quite an easy find on a lovely walk.

After coming down to Fairhaven for over 25 years I didn't even know this area existed (shows how little I have explored around) so the picnic area and surrounds was a nice find and I will come back to walk around the tracks and drive the roads. Best part was there weren't any people! I wonder what it's like during the peak holiday times?
Anyway, we (Mrs Biggles & I) found the cache without too much trouble.

Unfortunately it was not the right time for a picknick (and we weren't prepared anyway). Lovely area and well worth exploring further on a future visit. The towering Ironbarks gave us an indicaton of what to expect from the one in our backyard.

A great hide in a stunning little spot. Shame the areas fenced off, it would be a lovely picnic area! Felt a bit weird pulling over on the deserted road! Took Skateboard, Left a Mini Car. TFTC
Nice bush stroll this afternoon, lovely cache location. We were very fast to prevent muggle interference. All good. TFTC

Our last day on the coast and while we headed home we picked up a few caches. This was our first find of the day and we would like to explore this area more (almost a theme on this cache when you read the logs). Area was deserted today so our slightly extended search was not interrupted by Muggles. It did take us a while to find but persistence paid off.
TNLN
Thanks Team_Ninja, a very pretty part of the world

Of the "70 species of orchid have been identified in the area", we found - None! Not a one. Tell about false advertising!
A really nice little picnic area, with some great walks around the area.
We did find a cache though, so it wasn't a complete waste of time.
The cache container was starting to look the worse for wear, with the sides cracking, and moisture inside. Awphoto happend to have a 400ml Sistema container in the car, so we repolaced the cache. It still lives in the same spot.
Thanks, Robmc.

13.25 Speedy phoned this morning to see what I was up to and suggested that we had some unfinished caches down this way so here we are. I like others had wondered why the cache was so named and now I know.
I will to return at orchid time as the image looks spectacular. Nice easy find with NI-NO and thanks to Team ninja for placing the cache.

Was out with Bushfire for a days caching, and made a nice quick find after a short walk. TNLN, TFTC.
First find of the day. Great ride back to the Picnic area. Want a beautiful area for trails and hikes. Finally, I am getting to see Australia as I live in the US. Good hide. Not too hard to find. TNLN

Yes, I did actually! It had been a long tiring morning and I was hoping to stumble upon a stash of grog here, but it wasn't too be! Instead I found a beautiful picnic area and wonderful walking paths to explore, but that will all have to take place another day, I had other places to be today.
Thanks for showing me, I'm hoping I can get back here again soon.
Thanks,

Was always curious why this cache had a name like this, became apparent once arriving at the location.
Had to give RHPS a little hint to find this one.

Found today by Mr Emu @ 8.35 a.m., GAFF1 http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/GAFF . Out this morning for a tootle around the local bush roads on the Yamaha. Imagine my surprise when I saw the sign (see photo) temporarily blocking the entrance to the picnic ground. It looks like they are taking the bushfire threat very seriously after Black Saturday (07 Feb 2009).
Rather than ride around the sign, I parked the bike at the entrance and enjoyed the short 100m stroll to the cache. A nice area that I've visited a number of times before, and an easily accessible cache making it suitable for kids & families.
Thanks for the cache Team_Ninja!

With a bit of time before dinner and the weather a tad too chilly for swimming, I was able to talk the kids into a search. Off we headed in the GeoPaj with the only thing to go by on this one being the coordinates!! We arrived at the parking area and headed to GZ where a search of some of the "usual suspects" had the cache in hand at 18:35. Whew !!!
Took a Santa stamp and a cactus, left two parachutists, SL and a couple of our geocoins also had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Team_Ninja, this is indeed a beautiful part of the world .

Found by Mary & David at 1220. We wondered why there would be a distillery around here, then decided that it must have been a eucalyptus distillery. Enjoyed the area and the information signs. Dropped off 'Geocoin Poker Challenge - GW5 Geocoin'. Our thanks to Team Ninja.
Found at 2.00pm GAFF2. A lovely trip around the tracks to get to this cache, even though there is a very direct route from The Great Ocean Rd. And yes a distilled drink at this spot would be very appreciated amongst these mighty ironbarks.
Thanks Team_Ninja.

Found the picnic ground easily...there was a Budget rent-a-bus there with its driver having a smoko in the picnic area by himself. We headed off to find the cache and had not much trouble finding it, GPS wandered at little bit and had us on the bridge at one point! Just as we replaced the cache, we heard the voices of many kids! Timing was perfect.
Another quick and easy find, almost too easy to get satisfied.
Logged it at 16:15. The forest here looks almost like I'm used to it from Switzerland but here are more birds and they are more colorful.
Thanks for the brand new cache [^]
