Its under. A small rock under neeth a big rock behind the sign GoodLuck MOTHERFUCKERS
Coordinates are pretty far off so took a while but it is obvious once you find it (its not on the structure)
Stopped here because I'd spilt my cup of tea, whoops, thought I'd check for a cache and lucky for me there was one! TFTC
TFTCOut & about on this glorious Sunday morning with geo hubby Animal62 for a drive to Pt. Pirie & decided to grab a few caches along the way.
TFTC nice find quick drive by out and about with geo wife LynSteNet on a Sunday afternoon collecting smileys
Checked on cache today as part of a maintenance run container and logbook still in good condition. Cheers and happy hunting Southern Cross Caching
Little bit of a tricky find but got it in the end. Compass is off but stick within the area. Obvious once you see it. Good find, thanks
Swapped out the container for a new one because it was all broken up. Good little hiding spot
We had visited this one previously and had a DNF. This time it was a case of broadening our search and looking for little clues in the logs as the co-ords were apparently out. Yep they were. After a short search, there it was. It looked like the other rubbish strewned around the area and was in the open. It also had a cracked lid so in need of maintenance. We stamped the book and hid it a bit better so hopefully it lasts. TNLN. Cheers.
Found it!Container is broken and work and the note book is full but weve just ticked off our first find
Over at Port Pirie for our Anniversary Australia Day long weekend. Today we stayed around Port Pirie to tackle the caches in and around town This took longer than it should. After reading several logs, we had an idea where to look, but found quite a bit out from GZ. Sadly there was so much rubbish that had been dumped here..Cache lid is cracked and will need replacing. TFTC
Caching from Perth to Canberra via the Nullarbor. TFTC. To a little while to find behind the rock wall.
Found on our way past today heading back home. After expanding the search, the cache was located and signed. Lid is cracked and contents are a bit wet.

Checked in on this one while on the way to Whyalla. We stopped for lunch and I checked the cache, still tucked away in its location safe and sound. Log book dry and container looked aged but still in fine condition.
Compass pointed quite a few metres away but conveniently made the find on the way back to the vehicle.
Had an appointment in Port Pirie and decided to make a day of it to get some caches beforehand. Also on way home via Redhill, Koolunga and Gulnare with Detofinbars. TFTC
Had a quick look but this is a pretty unappealing spot, full of rubbish and toilet paper.
Took us a while to find it, but we found it in the end. The hint was a bit confusing though. TFTC
Finally, after looking for a long time we found it. It was covered in plants. Totally looking in the wrong spot
After a few days in Whyalla principally to see the giant cuttlefish I was heading home via a few days in Pt Broughton. [^]
Had looked for this one on my way to Pt Lincoln in March but didn't have any luck then so thought I would have another go today. I was very surprised when I found the cache and was sure we looked in that spot previously...oh well maybe it was covered then, but today I gladly stamped the log book.
Thanks for the cache Southern Cross Caching.

Left PA early this morning with iluvtrekking for the trek to Adelaide. Wasn't the quickest find but we found it and recorded our visit. Thanks Southern Cross Caching
Found with richlink during our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Today we moved from Port Augusta to Adelaide picking up a few caches along our route.

Thanks for the cache. There is a little bit of rubbish around this site, so had to look to spot it.
Regarding Smelters (GC1F16D):
Was looking in the wrong place at first but eventually found it. This spot is crawling with bugs and insects, and im not too keen about it. Tftc!

This took longer than it should have on what was meant to be a quick fuel and food stop! TFTC
Finally! After a few years of searching on and off Mr epicavatar finally found it one dark night! Great hide!
Well it’s 2021 and I have finally said good bye to a not so great 2020 and it was great to finally be able to have a reasonable holiday as I have not had a decent break since 2019.
Made to South Australia and finally crossing the boarder and then being greeted by a couple of very friendly SA police offices for which i had the official paper work to allow me to enter.
After making my way west along the Eyre Hwy I went as far as Penong and the Eyre Hwy which I have not travelled along since the late 70’s when I was on a holiday with my folks and this was the last holiday before I started full time work as a sparkie and finding a few caches as I go.
Geocaching when towing a van is not always easy and I have to be a bit selective on which ones I decide to try and find for safe parking purposes especially along busy highways.
So then it was down to the Eyre Peninsula to see the sites down there Venus Bay, Coffin Bay National Park and Lincoln National Park were some highlights and I will come back again to have a better look around.
So after nearly 2 weeks spent on the Eyre Peninsula it was time to start heading back to Victoria but another lockdown in Vic has just occurred so now to change my plans again.
So Port Germaine was my next target for the night.
Another morning spent driving in the rain as I have not had the best weather on this trip what ever happened to summer.
The rain has stopped and as I have rounded the the bay and heading back down south the weather is beautiful on this side of town.
It is time to relocate from Port Germein Caravan Park to Crystal Brook Caravan Park which is a whole 45.1 kms so a big drive ahead.
On the way down I stopped for a coffee and to look for this one.
This was another sneaky one that took a bit to locate its hidey hole.
After a bit of a search I soon spotted the cache, added my name to the log and on to the Caravan Park to re setup.
Thanks Souther Cross Caching TFTC.

This weekend, I headed to Whyalla to catch up with a few other Geocachers and attempt some of the trails there. On Saturday, we targeted the FTF power trail from Whyalla to Iron Knob, and then spent the evening and the subsequent morning driving some of Whyalla's back tracks. On Sunday, I visited Cowleds Landing and back north, only to get severely bogged in one of Whyalla's clay pans. I then returned home via the August series.
Today, we started the day at a meet/greet breakfast event, and then I headed out with hevwalker and scramping for a few more geocaches south-west of Whyalla along the back tracks and main road, followed by the December trail series. I then continued south visiting Cowleds Landing and the proclaimed nudist beach. I next found *Potty Time*, only to realise that I had driven on the nearby clay pans, and then sank into the soft clay below on my way out. Eventually I had help in getting out, and finished my remaining time in Whyalla completing the pipeline August series, and calling into Whyalla Conservation Park for a few high favourite caches. I then made the long journey back to Adelaide stopping at a few miscellaneous geocaches along the way.
No luck today, and I remember spending a good 10-15 min hunting around. Perhaps it was just the dark, but I just couldn't find any evidence of this one, so this beat me today. Thanks anyway Southern Cross Caching for the cache placement.

Awesome little sneaky! Took awhile and my toddler was right next to it the whole time Thankyou!
Took longer to find than should have but eventually the little critter was in my hands. Thanks Southern Cross Caching.
With restrictions about to ease even further, I think we can safely enable our caches for people to start finding again. Please remember to practice safe hygiene measures while out an about, remain safe and most importantly, have fun.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Cheers and Happy Hunting

Hello everyone, in these terrible times and with the current government directive for people to stay at home unless it’s essential. We’ve made a decision to take our caches off-line to stop temptation and encourage people to stay home. If this goes longer than the allowable 2 weeks period and geocaching hq decide to archive them, then so be it. But let’s hope this is over as soon as possible with as little damage as possible, so we can all get on with our lives this great game in the conditions we are accustomed to.
Cheers and stay safe and healthy,
Shane and Josie

Found after a little bit of a search. Lots of rubbish, flies and mozzies but a fun find in a busy spot. A challenge to be discreet.
On a road trip with CBC2 from Adelaide to Coober pedy via Oodnadatta track returning to Adelaide via the black top. Found many caches along the way some oh so easy and some more challenging. Thanks to all the CO s for their hides. Some took us to some wonderful places. SL TFTC
First find for this morning. We are in week 5 of our 5 week outback adventure, heading home to NSW. Mildura is our destination today. Tftc
