Didn’t find it, seems pretty hard. We have a few ideas of where it could be, and we’ll do it another time. (P.S Wear gumboots)
Rainy day and I couldn’t find took ages looking and no luck will have to try again
Took us two attempts to find this one, the picture is the result of the first attempt. With slightly drier conditions the second time and a half an hour of searching we found it. Really great hide!
Brought tenkae round for a second look at this cache after not having any luck. Sure enough the gps directed us towards a questionable spot but we changed levels and eventually found what we were looking for.
Took us a while but we got there in the end.

Missadventure03 has mentioned she had attempted this cache previously and couldn't find it so we planned to head this way to help her search today. Upon checking the recent activity and seeing the list of sad faces left by seasoned professionals, we didn't expect much success here today but that's never stopped us giving it a red hot go before.
Gps put us on a spot that seemed unlikely so headed below to search the more fitting area.
Couldn't resist having a conversation through the storm water drain with the land dwellers above "We all float down here!" Jokes over, we get to the serious business of locating this elusive cache.
There were not a lot of options down here but made our way back and forth searching anywhere that might be concealing the prize.
It was taking a while and time was getting away when suddenly my fingers nudged something that felt foreign. For a moment I considered I may have just poked a snake in the nose but a second brave prod confirmed I had found what we'd come for.
It took a lot of encouragement to coax the cache from its hiding place but there were high fives to be had as we signed our names and returned it to its spot.
Now to go clean our boots

Searched this location at 1.35pm with RoddyC and hatzofff after the geocaching meeting today. Looked everywhere even in the drains but no cache. This one needs checking if still there.
Did not find on 27 April 2019.

There is a meet up today at Helensvale, so some caching before and after is on order.
Despite an extensive search (and wet boots), we could not find anything here.

Thanks Pigwig2 for restoring this cache. Found today and turned my frown upside down
Searched all over and under with no luck. I wasn't really wearing appropriate footwear. I'll try again another time.
I searched high, then low, then low, then low again and no luck. You are too clever for me Pigwig2!
With some recent rain I wasn't sure if I was going to arrive to a river flowing through here. As it turned out, my holiday footwear was more than enough to be able to make my way to GZ without any issues. I looked in a few spots and soon after I spotted what I had come here for. This is a different container, and from past experience I can say that it should definitely stay water tight
Thanks to Pigwig2 for placing this cache, glad I made it before its tenth anniversary!

After 4 hours at Wet n' Wild I decided I had been in the lines and water too long so I dried up and decided to go for a 1-2 hour walk while the rest of the family wanted to keep going on the rest of the rides.
This was the first cache I came to grab as I had already grabbed the other two closer on a previous holiday, time to venture further!
After searching in the wrong spot for a while I made sense of the title and a few comments. First try I had no luck so went in another spot and made a quick find. Awesome cache, found a few like this before!
TFTC Pigwig2! Almost 10 years old now - wow!

On our way out to find the Gilligan's Island cache we did a slight detour to look for this one. On approaching GZ, my goodness which one do we look in, co-ords have me in all of them!! ah well lets start at the first and work our way through each one.
After 30 minutes of no luck it was time to PAF and with the advice we were given, I was sure I had looked already there. Back to check and sure enough, it was there safe and sound in its cute hideout. Found with joojoo57, thanks for the tricky hide Pigwig2008 and TFTC

I suppose our main good luck was that there were really that much muddy waters around GZ today. After an extensive search we did have to PAF and Snickersallan soon spotted the very sneaky hide. Thanks Pigwig2.
I was in the area with time to find a few caches and this one appeared on the GPS so I headed to it. As I approached the area I remembered that I had been here previously and had logged a DNF. I checked the logs to find that it had no been found since my last visit and the previous find was over 18 months ago.
This time I had the area to myself and could access the area which I was not able to get to last time.
I searched around for a while before I made a PAF call. As is normally the case, I located the cache before the friend could remember the details of the hide.
It is always good to change a frown into a smile.

There was a council worker parked in a location which prevented me from searching the likely area.
well I must say that was not what I was expecting here, but I suppose it does work. I stepped carefully to ensure no slipping and soon tried another spot and sure enough spotted the cache. I got my name in the log and was soon making my way back to the car. Sorry but not a favourite for me.

Eeww I simply wouldn't allow my Mate Uksquirrel to attempt this one.
I ventured in squealed at the spider as I gingerly retrieved treasure.
We carefully unrolled, signed log and returned...
Very cool hide, I have never been in one before...

The most frustrating part of this one for me was the stupid phone refusing to settle at all
I went across and back and around and over and checked out a few possibilities before heading down the hill a bit. It couldn't possibly be there could it?! A quick read of previous logs indicated that indeed it was there.
I started on one side and made my way across and back out the other side. I looked up, down and sideways. With the phone now telling me I was 20 metres away I headed back in a different direction only to have the phone change it's mind halfway there. I don't think it pointed in one direction for more than 30 seconds while I was here. There was nothing for it but to put the phone away and get down to some serious eyeballing, I was determined to find this one.
With seemingly not a lot of possibilities I started peering very closely at everything and and finally something caught my eye. Very well hidden!
A very satisfying find on a great hide

Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA
So with 4 days of caching and over 100+ finds under our belts so far, we've had a great time touring around caching and seeing new places Lovely to cache in the warm QLD weather as well!
Apologies for the somewhat generic logs- it's not easy remembering every single hide so far!
Thanks very much to all of the cache owners for their hides

Second day venturing around the Gold Coast region with specimenX and we were out caching once again. We had a very enjoyable day out and about.
Apologies to all the cache owners for generic logs however we enjoyed the day wandering around the Upper Coomera and Surrounds.

MstrCam was brave enough (and was wearing appropriate footwear) to get to GZ for this one. I waited aloft offering much support TFTC!!
Well this was one of the creepier caches I have done recently. Much hunting and log reading finally turned up the fruits. SL. TFTC.
We are back for another day of geocaching on our bikes and we were prepared to find this one we packed a torch and a multitool and a couple of other things to log this one as a find and we did not need to use any of them
We get there and 5 minutes later we found it
Finely we found this one well done Pigwig2 for this great hide and thanks for the cache!

After a long extensive search reading the logs over and over and oh don't let forget we almost stepped on a green snake, We were running out of time so we had to go but we will be back soon to mark this one as a found 8D
Found while making my way home on a Friday afternoon. Cache was easily located

After checking out the trees above, quickly realised this one would require some subterranean adventuring. So I was glad for two things... 1. that I had worn appropriate footwear, and 2. that it had not been raining too much recently. This was a quick find once at the real GZ. Feet a little slimey, but grabbed a smiley. TFTC. SL.
First time finders! Was a rough find in thongs. Wife gave up after half an hour and sat in the car on her phone...but alas, I persisted and continued to trudge through the slimy water which I think is a more fitting title for this cache. I had to read much earlier comments and clues to find it but I eventually conquered this cache
After a conference last week, a few days of Qld caching is almost at its end as we return to Vic tomorrow.
Not muddy today, but a wee bit slippery.

A little trouble and time finding GZ but once it was located soon had prize in hand TFTC
This was the last cache for the day for Net88 and myself. At GZ we searched a few areas until we finally realised that we may be needing to change our location just a bit. A PAF to a friend and our thoughts about muddy waters were confirmed. OK then let's go. We headed for the real GZ and it was only a matter of time until I had the well hidden cache in my hand.
Thanks for the cache Pigwig2

This was the last cache for the day whilst out grabbing a few caches down the coast with Nyssaflutterby. We parked the car and assumed this would be an easy park and grab. Hmmm. Maybe not!
We systematically searched everything within 20m of GZ without finding a thing. We made a PAF to see if we really had to head to muddier grounds before we wasted our time. Yep looks like we are getting our shoes wet. Nyssaflutterby made the find after searching the area for less than a minute once in the right place. We signed the log and the cache was replaced as found. Thanks for the cache Pigwig2

Decided where we needed to be and started looking hoping the cache hadn't become part of a spider's haunt. Dodging angry spiders in a slippery GZ didn't sound appealing so that type of search was a last resort. Fortunately we found it before it was needed. TFTC Pigwig2.
My daughter had a party to go to so with a bit of time to fill in before it started geono. and I headed out to do a few caches around the area.
As we approached GZ we spotted the muddy waters, well what was left of the water with the lack of rain recently.
After a quick scout around we soon spotted the cache.

it was not long before dusk we headed off unsure what was waiting for us. Cautiously I followed Mum and Matey into the muddy waters and so our search began. Hindered by Rattus and Shea. My bro waited and threw leaves at us from the bridge but that didn't stop mum from finding the cache passed over by Matey.
Log signed we headed back home for dinner.

With everyone home early we headed off to check out the muddy waters. 4 people 3 dogs. We strolled the waters trolling for a cache. The boy waiting to get the trolls. We made a pass and tryed again then changed tack, maty in front, Shea and I bringing up the rear. I caught a glimps of something, yep a cache. Log signed we all headed for home.

ok...so this had us puzzled for a while...looking, looking, looking, high and low, in, out, up, down. Reading the logs definitely helped. Anth took the plunge and soiled his perfectly clean feet but not even the disgusting smell deterred him. Such dedication my Anth. After working out where GZ was actually located, it was a quick find. Thanks for the cache Pigwig2
Found with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. Out and about on the Gold Coast for this run. Caching primarily West of the Motorway, we had the chance to pick up some solved puzzles and a couple of dozen other caches. A good day, with lunch in a plesant park. Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches and appologies for the late logs.

Geo Wife & I found ourselves with a few free hours this arvo so we looked around for a few close ones.
I was proposing going down Gilston way to pick up the last few not found in that area but Geo Wife suggested we try some that I had previously not been able to find.
Well I thought four eyes were better than two so we headed here first.
I had left this one for two reasons 1. Waiting for the rain to stop long enough for the run off to stop.
2. I had attempted it twice with no luck and so I suppose I avoided it.
With a little more info from previous logs we headed in determined to put a smile on the map.
We both searched and searched but we just couldn't give in then I looked at a spot I thought I had searched properly before and there straight before my eyes was our prize, the ILLUSIVE cache.
I certainly appreciated Geo Wife's assistance but it was great to find it myself.
Thanks Ms Wig It will haunt me no more. TFTC SL

Long, long ago (09/10/11) I came looking for this cache as a new cacher...and failed miserably.
Today I went looking for a cache to do and this one is not too far from work. It was not until I drove around the corner that I realised I have been here before...ooo no.
I did not have a lot of time and left without finding the little blighter. All during the day my mind would come back to what I had seen and possible hiding spots. After work I was back again. This I brought a few bits and piece from the car which just might help me spot it and retrieve it.
So begins round three of the search...found it that was quick How did I not see that this morning. Log signed (slightly damp but ok).
Thanks for the cache.....now to go do a really long , steep hiking cache (they are easier. ) lol

Pulled up on top of GZ via a detour to the shops. I was thinking it was somewhere else at first but then I worked it out. I went in, then out, then in again and then bingo. Not so much muddy but slippery. Signed the log then took off from the mozzies. Its amazing how quick the sparrows fly past you at GZ. Log sheet is full and falling apart. Thanks for a Cool cache pigwig2.
No luck today, searched high and low, but mut have suffering cache blindness today.
Finally we can tick this one of our list
Easy find if you think about where it should be
Gps kept telling us it was in the wrong one of the three

Nearly threw the Gps in the muddy water out of sheer frustration when he located cache without it
Thanks Aussie Liahonna for the tip
No bumps on the back of the head for us thank goodness
Log felt damp and may be full
Took trackables for a visit

I searched for this one in all the wrong places not really thinking about what the name was telling me.
When I realised that it could be nowhere else I decided that the recent rains had made things dangerous and my footwear was certainly up for the approach.

Eww. Not muddy, but slimy, slippery, smelly and with dead toads and spiders in it today. I had almost given up when I ventured into one last possible spot and there it was, guarded by another spider. Yuk. But at least it was a smiley on the paper, if not on my face. TFTC, Pigwig2. =^.^=

Oh dear, wss it really March last year? I've been past the turn-off to this one many times, but never seem to get around to having another look. Well today, with an offer of dinner , I swung past with Mrs Lat&Long and we found it at last. Just one of so many caches to look for in this part of the world. Maybe christmas holidays ...
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
As we arrived I noticed this was a very early Pigwig effort. Gaz'n'Kab and I spent quite some time wandering around searching every possible spot for this sucker and after all that still had nothing to show. I decided to have a look at previous logs and something said hinted towards what we should be experiencing. Announced my thoughts and soon Gaz and I were on the right level and as we both chose one of the three (or was it four?) options, Gaz came up with the clever little sucker. Despite the general location being a little less than comfortable, I must admit I did enjoy this one. Very clever. Will say the waters weren't exactly muddy for us today, just a bit slimy down there.
