Well isn't that interesting! GPSr had a little box to find here. Found a cache, signed my name and moved on. Then when I was logging finds at home, I realised the cache I had found was far too old to be the cache I was looking for. After some sleuthing (actually quite proud of my detective work!) I have discovered that this was not the cache I was looking for - but did find. So my name is in the logbook - I can't log the other one but at least I get one smiley here! Tricky but found it eventually!

Sunday 4 November 2012 - a very warm spring afternoon, too hot to walk without a hat and lots of water. The cache is a bit bigger than a true micro but still difficult to find as it blends with the rocks. Thx p2p, TFTC

A good find on a sunny day. There was a burnoff at the GZ today but the cache is ok.

1114. A nice quick find at 10 pm after a game of indoor cricket. I also found a hole that changed my posture from vertical to horizontal very quickly. So glad I was alone.
No sign of any clue though. TFTC.

Holiday fun!

The cache container is sitting out in the open. Not sure if that is where it is meant to be but I replaced it as I found it. Also I could find no trace of any clue!

An interesting shaped rock...

Put cache back exactly where it was, but it wasn't that well hidden to begin with. Not sure if it should have been somewhere else?

The clue for the Deltora series is also missing.

Great day out caching with J+J.au

Found at 1603. The walk to the GZ was a bit of a treat for us as we got to see a very well tendered vege patch that put our own attempt to shame. We were so tempted to sneak a tomato and some basil! The GZ was an interesting place too. The tall grass made it an itchy exercise but the rock split by a now dead tree was really cool - loved it! TFTC

What a nice spot. My gps seemed to be a few meters off; couldn't have done without the clue. 2nd cache for the day. Couldn't help but sit here enjoying the sun. And the barking dogs.

Log book very full and zip bag is torn.

Found at 5.47pm as the 4th and final one for today. Busy walking track and with the nice weather there were a lot of kids in the backyards of the houses near by. Didnt help that there are no back fences to these houses so GZ is very much in the open. Timing between the children playing, the mountain bike riders and people walking the dogs i managed to located cache. The log was full and needs replacing and clue starting to wear off but was able to just read.

Loved the spot it was concealed, looked quite magical beaten to finding a cache again by searching the wrong side first . Didn't see a clue contained within...

GPS was spot on for this one. Amazing how much easier it is when that's the case. Slowly I am getting all of the numbers for the Quest.

After conquering the Maze of the Beast, we reached our penultimate location, the Valley of the Lost. As usual, a number of places this cache could be hidden, and a quality hide by zoratz. Our intrepid gang soon had the cache found (Barda found this one ahead of Leif and the dog), and the clue obtained.

So, having been to all the points in this series in order, we had four out of six final coordinate points. Is that enough to defeat the Shadow Lord? We're missing the first of the South coordinates, and the last of the East coordinates. The last East coordinate missing may not matter, if we expand our search area enough. But the first missing South coordinate may be a problem.

Let's give it a try though.

I enjoyed this cache, taking my time to find it and all.
Only having six of the seven gems needed to defeat the shadow lord, Leif and co. had no hope, except for Barda. He encisted that we go for the cache to destroy the shadow lord to save Weston Creek. So on the went, to Return to Deltora(Weston Creek).

Onwards they go to defeat the shadow lord!

#4242 Did this cache with Bega-Gang as part of a 2 day trek around Canberra. Found some parking in a nearby side street and after a short walk we had the cache in hand.

Can't believe how long I have been meaning to do this cache - well today I finally got around to it. Was in but of a hurry so used the hint which made it nice and easy. TFTC.

Found this one second on my hunt for this quest...

Last cache before I retired for the evening. Was getting a little dark, but the cache was in an easily identifiable location. That being said, I could see it "falling" into the abyss if you're not careful putting it back.

Clue was there, but a little hard to read.

This was an easy find but you can no longer see what F equals. Having worked out all the other clues over the last visit and this being the last we were able to triangulate where we suspected the cache to be. This needs fixing.
