I made sure to get a good early start to the day
With the dawn but a feint glow on the eastern horizon I packed up camp and drove the geomobile the scant few kilometres to the gate.
At the starting point the "Possum Burner 2000" I pack with me on every trip illuminated the way in the dim light
I moved cautiously as the long grass held hidden traps !! [:o]
Probably left by the Templars long ago.
Today we call them blackberries
OUCH !!
A few briar patches later and the reflections told me to stop
It took me ages to find the well concealed treasure.
What a shame the chest that contains it doesn't reflect any light [:o)]
A great start to another day of Tablelands caching.
Now for a walk along the shores of the nearby inland sea while the sun rises
TFTC.

Having one similar to this myself I have been meaning to get out and have a crack.
On a dark still night the track was found quickly and I soon had the cache in hand.
Enjoyed my nights caching and this was a great way to finish it off.
SL TFTC Coin out.

Found 20:10, not quite dark however was able to pick up markers. Soon geo-wife found the Templars Treasure. Exchanged TB’s. Thanks for the adventure.
Thanks to Jabs for rescuing us, our GPS didn't have the Rd this is on! (For anyone who wants to know, it's off The Reef Rd).
Nice easy find, had to watch out for landmines! Found on our Oberon Blitz weekend with Dockers Girl! TFTC!

This was a nice quick walk. The way was well illuminated and after coming face to face with a smiley we had the cache in hand.
Thanks Jabs
Thanks Jabs
We seemed to hardly start this one before the fun was over. Plenty of knightly glows to illuminate the path to GZ. Dropped off a TB. TFTC!
Great idea. Was wondering about the trail though as i never remembered a trail there. Once the trail was seen in the light it all became too obvious. I don't know who had more fun doing this one myself or my number three child. Thanks JABs
Followed the glittering splinters for a shorter than I had expected trip...and came up with a lost treasure. Excellent excuse to spend a cold night in Oberon...

Well, what a very intersting and thought out idea for a cache. We were a little apprehensive when we saw this one come up, but we thought 'what the heck, nothing ventured, nothing gained'. We set off for this one just after 7.00pm and with geohounds in tow found the track we had to follow. 20 min later we came across the said 'circle of reflection' and the cache was found with no trouble.
Well done JABs, a very enjoyable cache.

After arriving at the suggested parking spot it was off to find our first night cache.
The splinters were followed all the way until the red ones were found and the treasure of the Temple was discovered in its granite home. In the darkness with the aid of a torch is the only way you will find this one so you will have no choice but too come in the middle of the night.
The only thing that posed any real problem was the glow from the eyes of the local cow’s being mistaken for the reflectors. Plenty of landmines around too so watch were you walk.
After signing the log book and chalking up another FTF, we followed the route back to the car and off into the night we drove.
A great concept for a cache JABs and well laid out.
Left 2 TB’s.
