Logs
The Woods will be outof action until we can drop by and check it out. Sorry for the frustration everyone.
Despite the warnings in previous logs I still had a look and indeed nothing to see in the obvious spots!
No luck for me either. Wish I read the logs before going on my late night bush walk :p
Like many before me. I did not locate the treasure. This one needs to be checked please. As I believe t is no longer there.
Never feel great about logging a DNF but after 3 visits to this one I've gotta admit that this one has eluded me.
Found the general area (unfortunately only using my 3Gs iPhone) but the description matched the search area, spent several hours over 2 days, searching high and low in every likely/unlikely hole with zero luck.
Now I'm not saying it's been muggled, just that I am unable to find it. May pay to check the caches well being next time your down that way.
Cheers

Over from NZ for a few weeks hunting geocaches around Sydney. Soon had this cache located. Good fun! SL TFTC
2nd attempt.
I parked at the top, and got as close as the GPSr would let me at road level. As I prefer to ascend rather than descend, I then took the easy "path-like" way down from the side, found my reference point for the indicated GZ, and climbed to the top, finding the cache along the way. No idea why I missed it last time, it was blindingly obvious this time.
Thanks for the fun and challenge.

Nice easy find. Spotted it straight away. Nice Hide. Dropped The Lion Dog GC. This coin has been out of action for a long time so please keep it moving for owner. TFTC.
Attacked from the top (can park within 15m of location) and were puzzled until we read a previously log. We had dismissed the location for no real good reason at all! Dont rule out anything from the location you are pointed at!
Weather looks to have covered over the location a little with leaf litter, but wasn't too hard once we looked there.

Found it - the MM hunt continues - not a real plea sent place but knocked it over anyway
Ow! Watch out for spiders. There's always an easier way to a cache than you realise.
After a few unsuccesful attempts in the gong today Azzo and I decided we needed some redemption, so headed out late at night.
Bit more difficult in the dark, but managed to find it after a little look around. TNLN TFTC

Found late at night after 2 failed attempts at different caches that day great find.
Always drive past here and never quite got around to popping in. Today negotiated the streets and got close before a short walk brought me to GZ where it became apparent what needed to happen. After a short climb the cache was in hand and then on my way. TFTC!
Found a walkway between houses which within a few minutes took us straight to the cache. Signed logbook.
It seemed to Hoojar, Ding and I that we were always approaching this the wrong way but luck was on our side. First there was a gate blocking the road but a security guy went through just ahead of us so we followed. Next was a long drive around to the park but we found walkways between houses and it ended up being a 3 min stroll. The co-ords were spot on and I found it from the top while Ding cheered me on.
Cheers.
Cheers.
As Chip said accessing this one was not as difficult as we feared. Ding and i watched on and Chip went down to retrieve the find.

I managed to drive reasonably close to this one and then tackled this one from the low side. The coords were spot on which lead to a quick find.
TNLN Thanks

1st find for geokid !! He watched me grab a couple of well hidden caches earlier and was determined to get this one before me. Got to the site and he was straight up the rocks. Couldn't see it at first and was going to give up, when he burst into life with the words "I GOT IT" excitedly comming out of his mouth. TNLN, TFTC.
This cache proved to be the most difficult for us during the day. There are so many gaps you could easily place a cache around GZ. After climbing up and down a few more times we had found the cache. It is always in the last place you look. Thanks Masobec for the cache.
Out of 7 demanding caches today found with Usat31, this one turned out to be one of the easiest of them all. Mind you, that's not to say that this was a walk in the park, it was just a day of tough caches. And even if they weren't that hard, we managed to make them!
Thanks,

A 3.5 terrain rating & this was one of the easiest finds we made all day. Even with that , the crouching perch as we signed the log had me wondering what I was doing. Sometimes more difficult caches seem essier, & sometimes we make a hard job out of something simple - as Mr H said - that is what we did today.
I was out here a few weeks back in business clobber, so I made no attempt on the cache then
This cache deserved a decent Coin, so I dropped one in

3:25pm The lady in the nearby backyard greeted me as I approached, thinking I was someone else. She then totally disregarded me allowing me to disappear over the edge.
I was perched precariously as I logged it.
3rd masobec cache this afternoon. Thanks.

Alone on the day. I was a bit apprehensive after climbing up, and couldnt locate. Trynig from above didnt appeal to me either. If I had someone with me to pick up my broken body at the bottom of the cliff maybe I'd have tried... but not alone. But a 10 year old got it? Sheesh. Must be getting old. Ill come back with my son one day.
Found it and was filling in the log just as muggle came along. A bit suspicious standing on a rock, and when asked what I was doing all I could think of was 'just looking' Lets hope he doesn't get suspicious?
Found myself in the woods today and after an easy scramble found myself a cache. The only hard thing was remembering not to take a step backwards. I wonder what the neighbours think when all these strange people keep disappearing over the edge. Good one!
I came in from the side for this one. Just I was about to start getting close to GZ when a Muggle came past so I sort of must have looked a bit out of place. They ignored me anyway. As I located the Cache some Muggle kids were playing right above me. I sort of had to hang in there at GZ filling in the log hoping they wouldn’t spot me. I got away with it.

Cache 3 of 5 today, while out with the kids. Bethany (my 10 y.o. daughter) put her life on the line and went over the top to get the cache (better than me falling off). It was quickly in hand, the log signed, cache back in place, and then off to the next stop.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache Masobec,
best wishes,
Wal, Bethany & Jeremy

First find in Aus! Very easy find if you pay attention to the clues. Can be done without GPS! Much easier over the rail. Found Lanyard left screw.
Parked at another street and enjoyed the walk to this cache. Nice bushy (woody) area. TFTC
Suppose the person who dumped the grass clippings will ring up the council in a couple of months and complain about all the weeds spoiling the bush.
It's amazing where the GPS takes you when it's getting you to a cache by road! I had know clue where I was. Nice quick find, thanks. Looks like people are doing a bit of work around this area, somebody just missed the cache with a pile of grass clippings.
Thanks
Thanks

Took a lot longer than I thought, couldn't get a decent fix. Eventually after checking nearly every hidey hole, cache located.

Found this one after parking above the site, easy find in the end as the cache needs no cover. TNLNSL, TFTC
We spent the day down this way at 50th Birthday celebrations for a friend but on the way home this one came on the radar, well yeah we could spare a little time for a search ! Ended up being a nice little hide, I came from above but still had to do some balancing to retrieve the cache, and also some stealth was required from the muggle kids playing hide and seek nearby, Oh but the Ruffasgutts4x4 Landy provided a perfect decoy, attracting muggle attention while the caching duties were carried out. Took the TB Thanks for the cache. No Swaps
I thought someone would have done this one by now but nobody had and the rain had stopped for a little break so I ducked out to grab this one. After a little searching around the cache was in hand, filled out the log grabed the coin & FTF, tryed to leave a TBug but it would not fit. Thanks masobec..
