Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
This cache has been severely muggled and needs replacemnet and/or a new hiding spot. Found 2 days ago someone had used the cache as a toilet. Did not bother logging for obvious reasons as someone had left a log already
Decided to go from Woronora (which is much easier) with Kingzy. Got bitten by a strange bug whilst straying off the path which hurt alot.
But we managed it in the end and as a reward, we saw an echidna.
All in all, a good spot and a good day. TFTC.

Great cache location. Kind of annoying to get to with GPS flailing a bit. Got bitten by some bug/insect thing, but we saw an echidna on the way back so it was all good!
Also, the tracking bug listed as being in here is not

On holiday in Woronora from NZ. Geocahing is helping me explore the area. Great spot but once I was on the right path not too difficult. TFTC.

We really enjoyed the walk in from Woronora. Very tranquil and pretty alongside the creek. Cool cave too! Easy find. Took sunnies and left pack of crayons and a key-ring. TFTC
Found at 13:14.
We definitely took the difficult route but got there eventually. Glad we found it otherwise Eyespiral would have been more unhappy about the graze on her hand.
Took bouncy ball, left Eyespiral Trading Card #5 and Gas Can TB.

Found the waterfall and then tried to follow a path we thought was right..... Oooppppsss Wrong.
Eventually Bush bashed through and found the GZ.
So much for 400-500m. We walked about 1.2 km.
Left Ring and Took Make-A-Way TB.
Great Cache and the Waterfall is certainly a hidden oasis

My one and only find today as my attempts at other caches in the area failed.
A great cave and a very good hide.
Thanks again Skydog TNLNSL

We enjoyed the walk along the track from Woronora and soon arrived close to GZ. I left geo-wife and geo-pup on the track while I headed towards GZ. Had a couple of false searches until finally the GPS settled down and had me at the correct location. The hint assisted and soon found a very well hidden cache and cave. Exchanged swaps and as it was low tide we walked back along the creek bed. Thanks we really enjoyed this cache and location, thanks. .
This one was tough (the way I did it). I popped down from the loftus end and quickly lost the track on a big rock platform. From there it was a tough bush bash down to the bottom. There was a good 20 - 30cm of leaf litter and other dead matter below my feet which made it tough to walk through but I finally made it to GZ about an hour later (despite it only being a 600m walk from the road).
Once Logged, it was a nice easy walk to the Woni RSL and a deserved beer was consumed before continuing to a friend's house down the street.
Thanks for the big adventure.

Feel in the creek frinding this one as we lost track of the nice and easy path to the bottom and bush bashed the rest of the way

Trekked it down from Sutherland. Tough bush bash and worried about the rain. But nice hide! Tftc
[Most fun out we had in a long time. We took GeoTerrier for a walk starting at the north side of the cemetary, walking straight down to the river to log Muddy's First cache and then did a round trip logging this cache on the way back. I was yet again amazed at how gocaching turned an ordinary bushwalk into a great adventure.] We thoroughly enjoyed the search in and around the cave. [TNLN - SL - TFTC]
Had a little encounter with a small snake but found it! Didn't take or leave anything.
Bethden found it after a bit of searching around. GPS jumped around a bit but eventually was spot on for the CACHE
Quite a scramble from the track to the CACHE. Our GPS readings both said 45 to 50 m from the path and I think that was pretty spot on as when we followed that and ignored the 10 to 15 m from the path we came to it quickly.
Very well hidden and in a great spot. TFTC.
We were with a local who has ridden many of these trails so that was doubly exciting.
TN but left a shell.

TFTC. Cool walk through cave. Nice spot to rest and cool off before heading back along beside the creek. Picked up TB, left Earth GC.
The first of 4 caches this morning, and certainly the best. But then, we've come to expect that from Skydog caches.
This was our closest to home un-found traditional cache outside a National Park, and we had been meaning to complete it for some time now, but just hadn't got around to it.
Mr Us went solo & came in from the Woronora end, and again met up with the Pipeline - I've seen more of that pipe since we started caching than I ever have . Made the trek along the river, and then did the short bush bash to GZ.
Cache was found quickly and as usual, a quality one it was.
Thanks for the cache Skydog, yet another top spot & a nice hide.
Dropped of a TB.
Cheers.

9:20am. Hmmm one can get lost here.
Followed the pipelines...
Took Hulkmania ticket (did someone really see this?) and left a Boyscout badge from Harrington.
Took Kingfisher TB.
Also found a pair of sunnies - put into cache container.

Up in Sydney today for a few work appointments and with time on my side I was able to meander out to this cache as a nice early morning stroll.
A very pleasant walk along the creek and then after a short search the cache was in hand. As always the was full of swaps and in a lovely spot.
Left a coin. Thanks Skydog.

As per usual we ended up leaving the track and going bush the rest of the way to GZ. After arriving at GZ the cache was soon in hand. We signed the log book and returned the cache to its home. Next we decided to have a look for a track, (we weren’t going to go back the way we came). After finding the track we made our way back to the car only to stubble across a muggle asking what we were doing, so we explained the basics of geocaching. Thanks Sky Dog for another great cache.
This was an excellent urban cache - certainly made a nice change to do one such as this. We strolled in from the nearby reserve along the pleasant creek side track and were soon up amongst the rocks wherein the cache resided. Certainly a peaceful spot with it's leafy view of the water down below. No swaps but we picked up the Puss-in-Boots TB, leaving the soccer player coin in it's stead.
Nice walk from below. Dragged the Geowife and Son along. Cool cave
A nice cache spot. Thanks. Grabbed pin and left puss in boots.

Fantastic trip to this one, took the easy route as young LegoLad's legs are only 4 years old! Took Will&Sue's World Wide Around the Clock Geocoin (A057XM). LNSL.
301 - 8th for today. Found on 28/02/2009 at 5:50pm.
A large cache container, wonderful more please. A great walk in from the Loftus end, bit exhausting back up, especially in 30 degree heat. Don't be put off by the sign, can access the cache from Loftus.

A quickie on the way to work. I'll be back to catch the others in this area soon. Took TB, Left GC. TFTC
Arrived from the easy way and departed the difficult way on the walk back to Sutherland Station. Managed to get a bit lost and arrived up at 5th Ave instead of 1st Ave. Ah well, found the cave and then the cache. Beautiful trail through the woods. Now it's back to SYD and a cold pint of golden amber fluid at a local pub... Regards from San Carlos, California....TFTC!!
We approached this one from the Woronora end and had a lovely walk along the river on this hot afternoon. Back at the parking there were muggles everywhere. It was a very busy afternoon with lots of people hiring canoes from the nearby boat hire place yet the cache location was so quiet & peaceful; not another soul around. A lovely spot & a good cache container. Took coin, left coin.

At times the kids get a little unenthused about geocaching, so when asked what I wanted for my birthday a couple of months back I said a "must go caching with Dad" voucher. Today I cashed in my voucher with Bethany and Jeremy, this was our first cache of the day.
We headed in from the Loftus end, took some creative short cuts and eventually found our way to the cache. Log signed, left the DIamond GC, and it was back to the car for the next stop of the day.
Thanks for the cache Sky Dog!
best wishes,
Wal, Bethany & Jeremy.

Across the bridge we saw from North Shore II yesterday, we wound our way to a nice riverside neighbourhood. Lovely cool breeze this morning. Just before we got down to where the pipeline spans the river, we heard quite a few late teen/young adult males whooping it up. It sounded like they were trying to ride a metal boat down the hill. We realized they were on the other side of the river, and kept on trucking. Coords smack on! TNLNSL Thank you for sharing this bush walk, and for the cache Sky Dog!

Nice easy walk in from down at the woronora river. Once at Gz took about 10 minutes to find, if I had of read the hint it would of been in hand a lot quicker. Great cache Sky Dog. Took the Garmin coin and discovered a TB (space traveller) that I found a long time ago. Also discovered a frog TB. Left Fire dog TB made no other swaps. TFTC
I came in from above, walking down the very well maintained track, not a sole about, except for the odd Rosella and Cockatoo. Once at GZ the cache was found easily, I signed the logbook, swapped some Geocoins and TB's then I was off to check out the river. It was hot and sunny but not enough water in the river to swim, back up the hill I go.
Thanks Skydog.
Thanks Skydog.
Another cache close to home so decided to find this one whilst walking through Woronora. I've been along this track in the past and it is a very pleasant walk along the creek.
It was getting pretty dark by the time I located this cache and well and truly dark on the walk out.
Left the Genes TB and some NiMH batteries, took the Fila wallet.
Great cache and location.

Found after a short wander along a bush path. The swing looks a little dubious with no water underneath, but still looks like fun.
Found the cache and made the swaps, then it was off with our shoes for a splashing walk back to the car....via the RSL for some lunch and light refreshments.....
out - dino egg
in - shell necklace

Found it i quite enjoyed the short return walk up the track as i have recently had surgery and had been confined to the house for the past 2 weeks now i can walk i am out and about. Looks like the river is still in very good condition all the way up tributries aswell.
First of three caches in the area that I attempted today, easy find, then a ford across Forbes Creek to get to K9.
Took the Putt Putt TB, will drop it as far north as I can, in the metro area. LNSL, TFTC.
